My motivation:

As I said before I'm mainly interested in planning the towns and cities (and roads, no straight boring ones...), there is a lot of talent on the server, and people build beautiful buildings, but the thing I want to fix is that a lot of those cities don't have a good layout (bad for RP, looks unrealistic). A lot of cities are also build too fast, without having a change to grow as a good community, this is partly their own fault (Alras for example, too high prices, always building new things), and partly due to the choices of other people (Places of the spawn/capitals of the races). I want to help improve this to provide a better roleplaying experience for everyone.

Larger walls don't mean more safety, the walls are only needed in the event of war, and then it's easier to defend, and more economic, to make a smaller inner town, protected by walls not 15 but 6 to 8 blocks high.

Why would you build walls that are more expensive than the things they're protecting? It's idiotic to build a wall around your farms (for example), as they can be replanted in a short time with minimal costs.

You can build a city, or at least a town in the mountains (without flattening the terrain, like you did in Lunavara) it's not easy, and you can't have the capital there, but you can most certainly do it. It'd be ideal for a small snowy mining town.

(Remember that not all towns need enormous walls!)

I have a lot of ideas for the new world, I'll make a nice post about it when I get home.

I'm mainly interested in the planning of the cities, to make them look a lot more natural, instead of the current layouts and I also have some ideas for the human economy. (Not that I can't build, but that takes up a lot of time I could otherwise spend rp'ing)

((Even if Oren lost, why would they admit that? What's wrong with them spreading propaganda? Both sides can claim victory, if they want to, but the other side doesn't need to agree :wink: ))

You will receive a blacksmithing shop and housing for free, and the materials will be supplied. You make minas by working in the blacksmith in Al'Khazar, in return I expect you to repair my guards their armour and weapons for free (materials supplied by me), and pay me a part of the profit.

I could contact my brother about the Harvest Lord job, he has been looking for a good job, and loves farmlands.

It's a shame the Royal Librarian doesn't have a seat on the council...

I don't think that's a realistic price.. how much minas are trying to make on selling it? 30,000 minas? You're selling it for twice the normal price.

I am renting out and selling small rooms in Al'Khazar, for a low price, but almost noone is interest.

Everyone just wants a large house in the city, that's why they say it's too expensive.

(Why should everyone have a large house in the capital? There are cheaper towns, and rooms for rent in the capital. I lived in other towns myself too, and slowly earned money for an expensive house.)
