  1. I would suggest to point to other guides that talks about character diversity, and especially the two below in particular. Read them and sum them up in a way that would make new players go there and at least think over what a new character can be, along with the famous war hero, that is discussed here. I really think the important point of the guide is "Your are also advised to roleplay in a realistic sense which most RPG games lack". In reality, those war heroes and ninjas doesn't come in numbers, not even in fantasy or medieval settings. Keep enhancing this part, and I think you'll have people getting your drift even more. Meet the-series 100 ways to improve RP
  2. I do agree with Snazzy that it might sound a bit "in your face, do this", but I totally agree with your intentions of the guide. Rewriting it to make it more clear might be a good idea =)
  3. I just think that many comes to the server with a mindset that is not totally right. A medieval world cannot be filled with only warriors, basically. More players has to have the courage to say they can make a character that is not one of these. I really think not being a warrior is more fun, when it comes to Roleplaying.
  4. I feel with you, I really do. It is kinda sad to be honest.
  5. I don't get it really. You don't have to be this warrior to become a known character in the world of LotC. You can be that awesome tavern owner, a famous writer or paper owner, a baker (Dawn?), etc. etc. etc. This is what Cyndikate is trying to tell you.
  6. ((Sounds cool. Good luck Shimazus!))
  7. ((I'm curious, where did this samurai stuff come from, dating back to its origin in aegis? Was it used in the falding family? I doubt that in those three years they created a whole new culture.))
  8. I like it. The one claiming dwarves don't have wheat are wrong, fyi.
  9. I like it. Well done Nander. May the Rhune be with you!
  10. Is there any date counter for Anthos time? There really should be one here on the forums imo.

Until there is, I just use Elven time with Elder Scrolls calender dates.

  11. Wow, just wow. Brilliantly written. It really adds to the ambiance of the world. Thank you!
  12. *While standing right inside the arch within the monk forest, about to step out in the lands of Anthos* “Dis moight be a small step fer a dwurf, but a big step it is.” ((Let's do this!))

  13. I've got a blackout now. Help me: what sorts of alchols are there, that fits LotC? Wine, whiskey, beers/ales, what more?

Well, what is going on in-game at the moment. I've been away for quite some time and would love to know more. I just posted here http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/80865-hello-again/ asking for some help.

  15. These Ranks doesn't add any uniqueness to Asulon, since they are already very similar to The Servilex rankings, the guard and army of the City-state of Rienna. The Servilex is not purely out of Roman Rankings, we try to keep it as original as possible. I'd appreciate you changing the rankings so no misunderstandings may occur.
