Why are you/your character starting this town? What role will it play?

We recently found out that "Glenwood" was located on Salvus land. So the KL went to King Enor and Queen Dawn to ask for approval to continue on our little town. They didn't, so we have to move our town. We have now decided to merge a town with Charles Greymane (Rurikk). Eventually, we found this really neat valley in the dwarven kingdom, and we really want to settle down there. It will be a great merchant town, selling everything from diamonds to wood, clay to wool. Also, the mountains provide good protection against potential threats. We're hoping to grow bigger and one day develop it into a city.

The Knight's Legacy and the Greymane family wish to establish a town on your blessed land. Our former town, "Glenwood" was built three years ago. The last months have been though, as we recently discovered that Glenwood was located on Salvus Territory. We tried to negotiate with Queen Dawn and King Enor about the future of the town. Unfortunately for us, Salvus were not able, nor willing to add Glenwood as a town. We were ordered to move our settlement somewhere else. Just recently, we found a valley surrounded by towering mountains, with a beautiful arch. This spot is located at the very edge of your great kingdom. "Redridge" is what we want to call the town. Due to the location, Redridge might become one of the most important towns in your kingdom. Salvus is not too far away, which opens up for promising diplomacy and trade. We simply ask for your approval and trust. For we, The KL and The Greymane Family shall not disappoint you nor your fellow kin.

What type of political system is enforced in this town? Is this town under the reign of any other nation at this time?

The Knight's Legacy and the Greymane Family will be in charge of the town. We control the flow of the trade, the defense of the city, taxes (If we're adding it), and all that stuff. We're hoping that the dwarfs will accept us, as it will benefit the both of us. Also, all dwarven rules will apply to the town, since it's located in the nation.

What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.)

Everyone is welcome in Redridge. Human, Orc, Dwarf, Elf.

Anually, we have a festival to honour the dead. Every single citizen will be summoned to come and join the great feast. People from outside the town are also able to join the great feast. We drink, eat, play music, dance, read famous quotes etc. The event usually lasts from 1-2 days (MC)

Where would you prefer the town’s region be? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map).

The valley lies at x -1500 and z 1100 (Ish). Here's a picture of the entrance:

Here are some pictures from our former town, Glenwood. The Architecture will be somewhat the same in Redridge.

The houses will be of the same style as these. The roof is unique for the architecture. So, basically, nordic-like Architecture. Also, we might add balconies on the mountain sides with hollowed out rooms inside the mountain. Also, we got 1 bedrock donator and 1 diamond donator, so I assume we skip the fee?

Dún Was told about this; This had been going on for 2 weeks, both IC and OOC, But the plans, and date for rebellions, where kept secret, until the thursday before the arranged attack to where we would of told the leading commanders the plans, There where actually about one hundred people to know about the loyalist rebellion ICly; Just, there were arrangements to keep blades in there sheath, and arrows in the quiver, as it was not just a ramble, Shame it was removed by Whusshis name tho, ( GM, ) Because death had not liked the idea that he could of been overthrown, hense why he had complained ( Someone elses words, not mind )

Why are you/your character starting this town? What role will it play?

We, "The Knight's Legacy" have been thinking about this for a long time. Our guild was dedicated to fight the Undead, but now, since the Undead are being removed from LoC, we will change the guild completely and start a town, eventually grow it into something bigger. Glenwood will be a peaceful trading town, trading everything from diamonds to wool, but the main income of the city will be from the wood, due to the location. We will not start a war against other nations/towns/cities and if some other nation wants our land, we will not fight against them. This might change if we become a larger nation though. But meanwhile, we stay neutral to all(perhaps rather passive). We might also consider forming alliances, just in case.

IC:

The years of war, blood and chaos has left its bitterness in the heart of Jordan, as well as in the hearts of his guild mates. Only the forests and the fresh air of life could relieve some of his pain. Everything had been taken away from him. Consumed by the unending greed of the Undead. House, money, friends... Home. Now, the guild has been wandering for days. Some have left, some have joined. It was time to settle down, and so they did, in the pine forests of Asulon. Felling down large, sturdy pines are hard work, but rewarding. After many months of hard work, the little settlement grew into a small town. Also, new people from all over Asulon joined the small community. Elves, Dwarfs, Humans, Orcs, willing to settle down and open a new chapter in their book.

We would really like to be an independent town, have our own political system etc. The idea is to have Jordan (me aka erlend0501), Baruk-Ghaz (Florishier) and Argalas (latias232) to rule the town. We are the Generals of the KL, so it seems reasonable that we lead the town. We make the laws, control the flow of the trade and decide decisions. If all of us are fighting about a thing, we gather the people and arrange a small voting ceremony.

What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.)

Annually, we hold a feast to remember and honor all who have died in battle. (We have not decided a name yet, but we will eventually.). Residents will act neutral /friendly to all nations. Every race is welcome in the town, as long as they act nicely.

In a taiga biome (pine forest) OR mountain biome, since we can just plant lots of pines there, so it'll look like one, I guess. Would be best if we could have some sort of hill within the forest and have a mountain biome close to us. Due to me not able to see Asulon atm (obviously), I just made a rough paint drawing:

As you can see, there's a mountain biome limiting to the pine forest. This is a rough sketch, which means that it doesn't have to be exactly like that. However, as I said before, we'd like a mountain biome next to the pine forest. Also, if it's possible, an ocean close by, so we could build some docks and ships ;)

-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: As stated earlier, I live in Norway and I love to ski. I spend a lot of time practising skiing in the wintertime. I broke my collarbone last season, and I'm hoping to get well until the next one.

It got boring after 2 weeks, because it had no iConomy, nor any form of currency, which made trading hard. Buxville is a very popular server. I enjoyed it for a long time, made myself a mansion and earned ranks. The reason I left was because there was no RP at all. And I really like RP. This is another reason why I want to join this server.

-Biography: Not even Jordan knows who his parents were. As a child, he was placed in a monastery. Brother Phil Stilwell took well care of him, raised him like he was his own child. Jordan started to practice with the bow very early. Brother Willam was impressed with the boys skills. Life was quiet at the old monastery, yet time flew. Jordan became older, and the wool sale had never been better. Tradesmen came daily to get their share, but one day, there were no business-talking traders who knocked on the door. The monastery was razed. The orcs killed everyone, except Brother Phil and Jordan, who managed to escape through the old mausoleum. Phil had mortal wounds. They walked for several day over a hill that took them forever. There was nearly no food on the way, and they had no idea of where they were going. If they were lucky, they would probably stumble over a town. Brother Phil was exhausted. Jordan, who's 17 now, knew that he would not make it, and Phil knew that too. Phil convinced Jordan to move on. Jordan eventually met some wandering people. They were a group of farmers who were on their way to a city named Al' Khazar. The group had also been attacked by the orcs. They burned down the farm. Jordan joined the little group, and began the the journey towards civilization. After months, they finally reached the city. This was a new experience for him. So many people. The peseants offered him to live with them in their uncle's house. Jordan gladly accepted this, and there he has been living for many years now, working on Uncle Sam's fishing boat for a fair amount of salary. But one day, he quit. Jordan wants to explore the world, avenge Phil and his brothers. A new chapter begins.
