-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I have had a fascination with reading since a young age though writing was a bit of a late start. I first tried an RP back in Starcraft: Brood War and was hooked from then till now. Expanding my vocabulary and reach into the text-based rp sites I now seek a true home on minecraft.
-How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I am nearing the end of my summer break so my time online will shorten considerably. Though, I find it in my best interest to invest a few days on the server.
-How long have you played minecraft?:I have been playing minecraft close to half a year if not more.
-What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?:Role playing, for me, is an extension of the imagination into the personality of a new character, location, or even a city or nation. I have been role playing for close to eight years now, first starting out in a game known as Starcraft: Brood War. The basis there was to build your cities, outposts, hordes and characters and act it out in accordance. Falling from Starcraft I then pursued other means, drifting from game to game until I found a sight known as Role Play Gateway. A newly formed role play site merged from two others and dedicated to their own brand of entertainment: mainly chat rp and forum rp. I was hooked, and on a text based site, where the word defines the action and speech, my English and vocab grew to compensate what was lacking in a non-game based rp setting. For my eight years rp experience, four years have been on game settings and the other four exist in writing.
-What do you expect this server will be like?:From what I have seen from you videos or wandering the site myself, and what has been defined to me by one of my closest friends. I expect this to be a truly open rp world where the characters move at all occasions, paused only for OOC conversations and a place where plot, character and lore develop memorable moments.
-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: In my span of minecraft I have crossed over private and public servers alike. My first taste was with a friend in what is best described as co-op survival. After that short moment I began to explore for real servers, discovering a build server: Age of Mining. AoM welcomed me and held my capture for four months before the administration fell apart and everyone began to disperse. In this dark point I drifted through several servers though none held my attention. (I even made it onto the white list for the Shaftlands, run by the owners of The Shaft podcast.) It wasn't until a friend, my student in text-based role playing, found Veritasrp. A server I am still involved with with a blend of survival, rp and building aspects. Veritasrp has turned from a fun hangout to more of a side-job, since being promoted into the Admin of RP Events and responsible for building the events the members can participate in.
-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: The rules are strait-forward and understandable. The lore is open but defining enough to give the branches necessary for a multitude of creative choices and character development.

-Biography:It is said that the greatest time of beauty is when the wash of silver from the moonlight spills down from the heavens and bathes the lands in its eternal glow. On such nights, a child born is blessed by touch as their fair skin takes on a slight shade of silver. Believed to be the children of the moon the term Moon Elf follows them wherever they walk. Alizyn Galien is one such child. Unfortunately, during the celebration of her arrival, Alizyn's home village was raided by orcs. Enslaved with her mother and what few survivors escaped the cold edge of a blade she would never again see her homeland, nor would she be able to see at all. For her first sight of her world was filled with fire and hatred, burning so hot it rendered her blind, and plunging everything into darkness.
How Alizyne's mother protected her for the first years of enslavement is a true mystery she wonders to this day. Though her childhood was filled with pain and insecurity, guttural and rough voices and fear. It was only during a surprise attack from a Dwarven party that escape became possible, yet everything is at a price. While fleeing with her mother into the woods, the Orc Taskmaster emerged and barreled into the pair. The blind elf's world was turned around in all directions and the smell of blood and earth forced itself on her skin. All she can truly remember of that day was a long wailing scream and then nothing.
In the days following the escape, her life was difficult and always in peril, as the remnants of the Orcs lurked in the deep shadows. It was in the months and eventual decades to come that her already heightened senses would become tuned to the world around her in a state many druids believe to be 'One with Nature.' Walking through the trees by night, silvery skin open to the light of the stars and the moon, Alizyne may appear to any passerby as a free and independent elf maiden, careless and happy. But it is only in times when she enters towns or crowded places her blindness is apparent as she walks with an ashen stave and searches out for things only her ears and nose can tell her of the world.
-Character Age:72
-Character Appearance:Alizyne has the narrow and almost regal features of a normal elf. Standing close to 4' 8" tall and weighing close to 85 lbs she is like one of many of her kind. Her fair skin touched silver from her birth and with long, black hair hanging past her shoulders, she walks upright with the grace of her kind. The only thing betraying her true condition are her glazed emerald eyes, that look beyond and into the distance, unable to see anything. Beneath her light leather tunic and shorts remain the scars of her childhood as a slave.
-Character Personality: Alizyne is warm and always greets strangers with what hospitality she can spare, if she determines they aren't a threat first. Always holding everything just out of reach she really analyzes the voices and people around her, trust never truly given as she prefers to stick to herself. In her mind she is just looking for more of her kind to feel at peace again, yet with her lack of sight her travel is difficult and her guard up for any possible trick.
-Your ambitions:My character is searching for other Moon Elves, or an elven society that will take her in as one of their own. However in the back of her mind she is unsure if this is what she truly wants.
-Can your character read or write?:Due to my character's lack of sight reading and writing is beyond her but her mother taught her a makeshift form of sign to express things in secret if there are unwanted eyes or people close by.
-Can your character mine?: Even if her sight was not lost her ability to mine rock and metals would be poor if not nonexistent.
-Are you a capable builder?The techniques and ways of her people in all forms, including building were lost after the raid.
-Can you wield a sword?:Despite her lack of sight, through decades of training, swords, stave and other weapons have become merely an extension of her reach. Her combat capability is difficult in crowded situations but if ambushed or engaged on open ground or in silence she can fight as naturally as a sighted elf.
-Enjoy Farming?:Alizyn is adept at gathering and locating food sources. While the knowledge of farming is known to her, it is difficult for her to put into practice.
-Does your character have any special skills?:] Using acute hearing, smell an something almost akin to a 6th sense, or anticipation, she can move and navigate wooded areas as if she could truly see her surroundings. However if she were to enter a town or populated area this gift would be lost.

-Other Information: Unknown, but suspect to her, Alizyn is the last in a long bloodline of Moon Elves. While other Moon Elves exist her family history is composed of nothing but moon elf pairs. If this has some influence on her capabilities it is unknown at this time. One important thing of note is on nights during the full moon, Moon Elves feel almost Euphoric and are extremely cheerful, tending to laugh, dance or sing the night away.
