What kind?: I played WoW for a few years along with 6 years of dnd -What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect a well organized roleplay server with a stable community. I also expect roleplaying to not get overly in the way of game balance (i.e. one nation winning every single conflict due to some bonus to that race) -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on Blockheads and New Haven – New Haven spawns in items which led to minimal player interaction – I still play on Blockheads but I don’t like the direction the server is heading -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? Amathos In-Character: -Character Name: Amathos -What is your Race?: Dwarf, subrace Mountain Dwarf -Lordofthecraft.net/forum forum account: Amathos -Biography: I am one of two brothers. I have never seen my brother, as my parents gave him away as a child as they didn’t have the means to support him. From the time I could walk and swing a pickaxe, I have been in the mines with my father, helping him earn money for our family. We didn’t have much, and most of what we had we made for ourselves. From my mother, I learned the art of farming and how to make bread to sustain myself. From my father, I learned the art of branch mining, and how to stabalize a mineshaft. He also taught me how to wield an axe and to defend myself from the monsters of the dark. Today, I will usually be found in a mine, or training to become a soldier in the Free Dwarfs’ Army. -Character Age: 184 -Character Appearance: I have red hair and will always be wearing my mining helmet. I will usually be spotted either wearing a Pickaxe or Axe. Relatively pale skin due to minimal sun exposure. -Character Personality: I am quiet, and prefer solitude over company. Anything I can do by myself, I will, though I am quick to help others (if compensation is involved). I do not get bored easily with tedious tasks, and have been known to build mines larger than the average Dwarf couldn’t dream of building. I have a horrible obsession with gold, which has led to many ambushes and injuries. -Your ambitions: I aim to be a powerful warrior, that is renowned throughout the lands. I don’t care to live in a mansion or anything, but I aim to live outside of the slums. -Can your character read or write?: I can read and write with great difficulty, having no formal education with it. More often than not, I do not bother with writing as what I can write is often illegible. -Can your character mine?: I have been a miner ever since I was able to hold a pickaxe. -Are you a capable builder? That depends entirely on your definition of capable. I have experience in building structures to fortify mines, along with experience in building simple yet functional houses. Anything form of elegant building is far out of my grasp, however. -Can you wield a sword?: I was taught to defend myself in the mines at an early age.
