  1. It may prove beneficial to have a decently known YouTuber promote our channel as well. It doesn't have to be someone of the Yogscast or Skydoesminecraft caliber but if we could get someone with a decent subscriber base to promote the server we would definitely see a spike in members. Perhaps we could use some of that donation money to sway a YouTuber to do so.

That would be a good idea however I think Lord Of The Craft was the one who posted this video. Of course look who's name was in the video though...Great idea, I think it would work rather well.

  2.      When we had our friend Reckreations join Lord Of The Craft a while ago, he and a few others were awesome enough to create a video promoting the server. With that being said that video reached over 100,000 views bringing in tons of traffic. We were on the front page of YouTube and we remained on the front page on Minestatus for months on end. I would say 80% of the server has seen the infamous video created for LOTC and it was a huge success. My idea is to create something again for 4.0. I'm not talking about just another updated 4.0 video but THE official LOTC trailer that's modified of course to fit the constant lore changes that are being made. Also we could work on getting more votes on the server and maybe making it to one of the top 3 pages on Minestatus. It's not impossible but it's possible if we work hard enough within these areas. Perhaps we could make new applicants vote for the server before applying or maybe even offer something else in-game for those who voted besides 50 minas. I would love to make this server THE server again within the Minecraft world, getting our name brought back to be even stronger then it was before.

Here's the official video in-case you've never seen it.

  4. The Teachings of Aeriel

Aeriel is all knowing, kind, wise, and pure. We mortals are sinful, inferior, negligent, and wicked. Some choose the path of destruction and misery. Others choose the path of wisdom and prosperity. We periodically falter in the lines bound within our lives but we are persistent and willful. To understand Aeriel is to understand the world as a whole and the souls that inhabit it. The gift of happiness, of life, of beauty and serenity; All works of Aeriel from beyond, and her alone. With so much wonder and awe she conducts, it's no wonder that it shows through every day of the year. I however, have noticed the light diminish day by day. Little by little the torch starts to fade to a point where we can't see it's full potential. Darkness starts to inhabit the torch, to breed and create an everlasting hatred within its flames. I see this torch daily with my own eyes you see. Whether it be war, thievery, or deception, darkness corrupts and does so willingly among those who fall for it's idolized teachings. We can reverse these ideas however by acting more like our guide and teacher, Aeriel herself. Simply by helping those less fortunate land back of their feet or even saying no to taking part in a confrontation you don't believe in, we can potentially make this torch re-ignite for the better of humanity and take care of one another again. For we know deep in our hearts that the light will always prevail and display the true fact that darkness could never be able to inhabit our existence. Each of us contain the torch but who will be the one who will keep it lit?
  5. How to make money in Lord Of The Craft

    A Guide

    Introduction

Hello Anthos and the Lord Of The Craft Community! My name is UncleUnicorn and today I'm going to give you some tips on how you can make a good amount of minas on Lord Of The Craft while still having that fun role playing experience we all love! All of us fall into that category where if we see something we like we want it almost instantaneously. Unfortunately if that one thing we want costs too many minas we are going to have to work for it even if it takes a while for us to do so. This guide covers a few things that will hopefully make your life a little easier when farming for money. Most of the things I am going to cover are obvious ways to make minas however I am going to explain in thicker detail on each of these subjects and cover more than the average information a person might receive from a friend in game. I would also like to thank all of you who stopped by to take a look at this guide and I hope that it might helped you in some way.

    Mining

One of the most well known and overused used ways to making minas in Lord Of The Craft is mining. It's not called Minecraft for nothing you know as it is Minecraft after all. Mining is great because you are given the opportunity to either use the ores to craft items yourself such as weapons and armor or to sell them for profit. The more ore you find and mine the more you are going to maximize your profit margins, considering you actually sell them. Lately, the prices of ores have been going down due to the effects of inflation and deflation. It's just a battle between the two and the more people harvesting the ores, the more we have in the market and thus making the prices to purchase them much cheaper.

    The Essentias

To start your way to getting rich in the mines the first thing we need to remember is the essentials which is the items needed to mine. Make sure you have on you torches, Iron pickaxes, Wood, Coal, Food, or anything else you feel you would need to survive in the depths of the mines. Remember to also bring a bucket of water in case lava decides to sneak up on you and ruin your day. Make sure before you start mining you clear out your inventory of any unwanted junk that may be hanging around in there. With these basic things covered we should now choose a location to mine in and start making our minas!

    Picking a Location

There are a good amount of mines to choose from in Lord Of The Craft with so much ore to offer. There really isn't one “perfect” mine that's going to be filled with diamond but there are some that haven't been mined in as much as others have. Most people use the mine near spawn as their means of ore farming but with so many people using it, the chances of finding bigger veins is slightly smaller. I personally use a mine that's a little farther out and more into the Orcish land. It's not really a special mine, however I have been lucky lately in there finding a very good amount of Emerald and Diamond. Basically if you want to find more fresh ores and bigger veins, finding a mine that happens to be newer would be the best bet for you as it has simply never been explored as much. With so many mines out there, everyone is bound to find one that suits them.

    Ore Farming

Now that you got all your essential supplies and found a mine that you think you'll hit it big in, it's time to farm for those ores. Start by heading all the way down to layer 12. As most of us know, this is around the layer where diamonds spawn most often at. Next make a 3x3 indent into the wall you wish to mine at and start to mine your way through. Be sure to be carrying supports with you to keep the role-playing functionality of the game there as well. Remember that 2x1 mines are not allowed and can lead to issues later down in the line because it isn't roleplay-like. Sometimes depending on what mine you're in, layer 12 will offer a lot of emerald block deposits sometimes consisting of veins up to 30 blocks. These emeralds are great for profit and magic related items such as staffs. Large veins of gold are fairly common down in layer 12 as well. Continue mining until you get bored of it or until you run out of the resources needed to continue. By the time your mining session is over, your inventory should be close to full with ores ranging from Iron to Diamond. We can now sell the ores for profit but where and who do we sell them to? The auction house section should cover this for you.

    The Auction House

When selling items it's important to realize that targeting a larger audience brings in a higher percentage of people willing to purchase that item. Selling to one specified person at a time can be good to a extent however your name isn't really reaching out to as much people as you may want. The Auction House does a good job at targeting as many people as possible because it's a server-wide way of selling items that everyone has access to. There's one at spawn, there's one in Abresi, and there's even one in Kralta. Anyone can walk up to an auction house and place a bid or even try selling something themselves. Whether you're trying to buy or sell there is always someone looking to purchase something new so why not try the auction and see if you come out on top?

    Listing

To sell an item on the auction house, the first thing you want to is find an auction. Like I said earlier Anthos has a good amount of auction houses within areas of the map. The most popular of them all however is the one at spawn. Everyone on the server goes to spawn at one point whether it's a new player or one that just died in a battle. With so many people passing by there daily, it's no surprise that most of them will take a look at the auction to purchase something they need. This is why it's such a popular choice to many player, me alike. Listing an item on the auction house is very easy and straight forward. Simply hold the item you wish to sell in your hand up to the auctioneer. Next crouch down and click the right mouse button. A description should pop up asking you how much you wish to list the item for, how long you would like it listed, buyout price, and if you accept the auction house's 15% commission fee. Once you do this your item should be on the auction house all set and ready to attract buyers.

    Undercutting

Undercutting is quite simple in the auction house. If you see an item someone else is selling that you were going to list yourself you can either buy all of those items out and sell them for a higher price or you can undercut your competitor. Say that someone is selling a block of diamond for 500 minas on the auction house and you were planning on selling that same exact item aswell. You have the option of selling it for a lower price than what your competitor is selling it at. Choosing a listing number such as 375 minas makes the buyer gravitate more towards your item. Why you may ask? It's just cheaper and the cheaper an item is the easier it is to sell. No one wants to overpay for anything so having your items on the cheaper side will defiantly increase sales for you and make the competition go within your favor.

    Buying Low, Selling High

Owning the marketplace will ensure that people are always going to buy your product and possibly come back for more over and over again. An example of “owning the market” would be to check out everything that's being sold and keep an eye out for the prices too. Look and see if some items are on the cheaper side and would make someone want to purchase them. If they are then that's good because you can purchase that item yourself and sell it for a higher price therefore making profit off of it. If there are 5 different listings of diamond pickaxes at 100 minas a pickaxe, buy all 5 of them and re-list each one for a price of 150 minas each. By the time that they sell, you should have made 750 minas with a total profit of 250 minas. This method works on just about every item on the auction house and is a very efficient way of selling goods for profit. Many people think using this tactic will make them lose money in the long run but taking chances is a part of business and life in general.

I'm going to be adding more topics to this guide so if anyone has any more ideas on how you can make more minas on LOTC I wouldn't mind if you sent me a pm. I could study the topic and then post my findings here back on the forums, hopefully helping others out. I want to thank you all for taking the time to read the guide and I hope at least something in here might have helped you out a bit.

  6. Forum ban or game ban?

    Not that it realy matters.

Well considering it's bullying/Harassing through the Lord Of The Craft community I would say In-Game and Forums. This being said if you are banned from the forums for bullying you could still bully that person in game through PMs and the OOC chat.
