His father was a priest of the Cloud Temple of Aegis and his mother was a humble shopkeeper. He grew up in the streets of the Whisper Village , dreaming that one day he would fight dragons and bring an end to the undead. He was hardworking, honest, and well-mannered. He had an apprenticeship at the blacksmith's shop which taught him how to make steel and sword. He used this to gain an education of sword fighting, practicing three hours a day. One hour on straw-man and the other two with his friend Thomas. He hoped to become a knight of the realm, slaying all evil that stood before him. But one day he realized he was going nowhere. He would stay at home reading his fathers large personal library. Hoping that one day he could be a king of the land. But at the age of 12 a marauding band of mercenaries ransacked his fathers house. Killing his parents and making him an orphan boy. He fled his town, and found a new home in a camp of traders. There he was raised well and taught the value of hard work. But at the age of 23 he had enough.
