Thank god it's over, the lag was making the server unplayable (although I continued to play) but now I can rejoice and play as it once was :D

Yes, I'm not accepted as a villain (Availer posted that there was a stop to villain apps for now ) The (villain) Bloodline members have to kill for me if they're people I want to drink from. I do not attack anyone unless threatened violently, provoked, hit or attacked, etc. You can join without a villain app but you must be damn dedicated and prove to us that you are, some of these people want to just join for the "fun" of it. This isn't for some mere fun experience, yes it is fun, but it's a major character change not some small guild your joining, you're COMPLETELY changing your character and twisting his life around. If you want to join you MUST be dedicated, able to RP quite well, get along with the whole vampire sense, and be willing to explain to us how you are dedicated. We are still accepting others we just want people who actually want to dedicate themselves to this.

We do exist. WE ARE in Aegis. We have a disease that makes our brain want to drink blood to survive. That was really rude of you to come and post like that. You should be open to the idea, there's no other vampires on LoTC and we're the first, it's not like we're "unoriginal." Although the idea of "Vampires" are unoriginal, having them in LoTC is not seeing how we are the only ones.

I would prefer to go to 1.7.3 aswell, it seems as if LoTC wasn't ready for 1.8. Although we updated late, we updated too early. Ever since the update all that's happened is problems, I figure that we wait and stay at 1.7.3 until necessary plugins & mods are completed & compatible for 1.8 so people can actually play the server. Whenever I play I see people literally jumping around, mobs are too laggy, I can't RP or talk to anyone because my chat won't pop up until the next 10-15 seconds. I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining just throwing out that staying on 1.7.3 was the smartest thing to do. We tested 1.8 today and yesterday and I think it's time to turn back.

But that is what the basis of our bloodline is about vampirism, you're misinterpreting it as some new "race" it's nothing near that. We're a family that feeds upon blood of animals & people. We have no "special abilities" or anything that any other person would have.

(( I've talked to a GM, Skills/Mina are kept upon switching characters but items & homes that were bought should be left behind.

Regardless of being not part of the lore we can still be how we are now unless notified by someone such as a GM. :)

Personally, I think this is a good idea, Vampires have a hunger for blood which comes around every day or so and must be fulfilled by the blood of something, or, someone else. With an accepted Villain application this gives another reason to kill innocent people and seems awesome to me. Who says Vampires are "evil"? Not everyone has to kill for their hunger. I don't have an accepted Villain application (yet) and I'm still in the bloodline. My Lord does my killing for me. Even so, some might enjoy animal blood more then a persons.

Laevil's acceptance into the Bloodline Lord Vladmir bit the Dark Elf causing him to be dazed and fall into a sleep. "If you survive mortal, you will become part of the bloodline." Laevil woke, head aching he looked around and noticed a small note which read "You survived, and you are about to become part of something unimaginable. I gave you a small bottle of sheep's blood which should hold off your hunger for a short while. You will need to feast more though, mere sheep's blood cannot hold back the urge for hunger." Laevil woke and saw Lord Vladmir in the distance, he walked over to him. Laevil and Lord Vladmir began to chat for a while until they spotted a Dwarf in the distance. The Dwarf was jumping about and stumbled upon Lord Vladmir when we decided it was time to feast. Laevil was excited for it was his first real time seeing bloodshed and being able to have his lust fulfilled with the real taste of blood, not sheeps blood or anything of that matter. Lord Vladmir killed the Dwarf quickly and Laevil's hunger stepped in, Laevil began to drink the dead Dwarf's blood under the moonlight. "Laevil drink up while you can, I will teach you to control your hunger, but for now enjoy." Laevil continued drinking, his hunger was fulfilled. Together, Laevil & Lord Vladmir ventured off to the Von Untergang Manor leaving behind the Dwarf's body.

(( Not sure if any of you know me but IC I was known as Corey and roamed around AlKhazar and other areas of Aegis, this is my first time doing a character's death. I'm now playing a new character whom is a Dark Elf. Corey pinned the note to the outside of his house hoping someone would read it and understand his choices. "To whoever reads this, I have gone on an adventure out into the wilds to find a lost friend. Wish me the best of luck and that we both may return safely. I know the adventure ahead is a long & dangerous one and I may see the end of my days upon the road ahead. All of those who I loved, this is my farewell to you if I don't return.
