  10. Goodday people of Aegis! I come to you with an offer you can't refuse! Currently, the town of Sjalfvili lies in the north of Aegis. We offer affordable housing to new residents, as well as a friendly community. We sell small homes from 500 minas up to 700 minas in the lowest tier of the town, and also offer plots of lands in the upper tiers that cost a bit more, but allow you to build your own home, including basements. We have a small marketplace with stalls for sale so you can even set up your own shop. Also because we are still a relatively new community, we love having peoples ideas, as well as committed and hard workers. This is a place where you can come and make your mark in Aegis!(We also offer protected chests to all of our residents).(For more information about Sjalfvili check out the forums in the Guild section on the Kingdom of Sjalfvili, as well as how we originally started as the Freedom Ridge Colony). For those people who are still new in Aegis, we also offer free housing to get you started on your way. So what are you waiting for? Contact Holdas Serene Bloodcrest today, and you will soon be living in a great community! (For further information or questions you can pm jacihead, or send me a pigeon ingame). Hope to hear from you soon! Holdas Serene Bloodcrest
  11. Aye, we most definatly will be! I am not sure if Estellan is doing it, because he is away for a while, but if he is unable to I will!
  12. *A blond woman emerges from the crowd to comment on the address* Aye you are right! In Al'kazar I see many homes vacant, as well as shops. You know why? They are all set at ridiculous prices! 25,000 minas? 10,000 Minas? How is anyone supposed to afford to live in this human nation? Many newcomers leave and live in newly created villages where there is affordable housing What a concept! Slum homes cost 1000 minas! Outrageous! In newly made villages you can get homes and plots of land for this price! This is my personal outrage at the state of Oren, may we see an era soon where not only the old prestigious families can afford to live in the protection of the city, but rather all people can find a home and community theirin! *The woman covers her faces and blends back into the crowd*
  13. I am looking to buy 4 stacks of coal, and one stack each of redstone and iron. Let me know if you have any and how much it would cost! Thanks! Send me a pigeon or (pm) me, Holdas Serene Bloodcrest (jacihead)

  15. This looks like a really good idea, I was wondering if you would be able to tell me more about the Shadow Yosowa, and what it consists of. I read the lengther version of the history on the ideas and lore section, and was just wondering if the Shadow Temple has to be evil, or more just representing the darker aspect of things? If you could pm me that would be great :)
  16. The pictures look great! I just want to add I built most of the homes and some structures myself ;) Can't resist a little personal advertising of my architectural skills!

  21. Hey! Yeah I did play on CIVRP for about a week and a bit, but then I found the role-play was very boring and non existent! Now Im here and it's the best server ever!

  22. I don't understand what you mean by your empire being an early version of the English and redcoats. Personally I think that you should create lore and history which fits into LOTC. I'm not a fan of bringing real life ideas and history into what is supposed to be a "fantasy" game.
  23. I wrote this as additional lore to support my villain app, as well as an idea for a new type of magic and villain in Aegis. If you liked "The Legend of the Blood Witch," and want to know more about the beautiful women with the blonde hair and green eyes check out my villain application! http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/25290-serenes-villain-application/page__gopid__123022 Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it!
  24. Legend of The Blood Witch It’s a dark and stormy night, and you approach the large stone mansion on the hill. You are here to meet with the mysterious women, who responded to your interests into “The Legend of the Blood Witch”. It is an obscure legend referring to a woman who committed atrocities and through them gained power and knowledge to be eternally beautiful. As you approach the door, you attempt to knock, and as you do the door swings open revealing an astonishing sight. A women looks at you and smiles, she has long flowing blonde hair, perfect bone structure and skin as flawless as marble. She greets you saying “Oh what a stormy night it is, I am pleased to have you at my home”, she flashes another smile with perfect white teeth surrounded by red lips which are perfectly formed and blood red. She motions you into her home and beckons to you to follow her into a warmly lit room with a large fireplace. “Take a seat, and make yourself comfortable," she says with a soothing voice, and you rest your weary legs, and warm up close to the fire. She leaves for a moment and returns with a kettle and pours you a cup of steaming tea, which you gratefully take and cradle for warmth, and the hot steam rises from the fine porcelain teacup. She gracefully takes a seat and flashes that warm perfect smile again. “So, you wish to know of the Legend of the Blood Witch” she states. You nod, and she begins to tell you of the bloodcurdling story of the first Blood Witch. It started when civilization was beginning, in a village that has since been lost to time. I tell you of the woman called Meredith. Meridith was a beautiful woman, and well respected in the community. She was a healer and a midwife and took care of the sick and poor. Her full dark hair and alabaster skin, was the envy of every woman in town. But, despite her good looks she was kind and would take care of any who needed help. It only seemed right that the son of the town leader who seemed kind and handsome and well suited to inherit power should court her. The town rejoiced in this, as it seemed the future of the village could get no better uniting the two most promising of the youth. Little did the villagers know of the leader’s son, Jonathan who actually had a dark and resentful heart as well as a tendency to violence. Jonathan courted Meredith with soft words and beautiful gifts and told her that she was the star that led him forward in his life, the star that gave him meaning. It was not until after the marriage that Merideth found out the true nature of her husband. It started with cruel words breaking her down bit by bit. He would criticize her abilities, he would call her ugly and he began to hit her. She could not believe the monster that her husband was becoming, and she wanted to leave. That is when she got pregnant. Her body began to change and swell with child. Her husband started to find her ugly and began to have an affair with a younger girl in the village who rivalled Merediths beauty. All of these things began to start to wear on her soul. She looked in the mirror and only saw an ugly creature that no one could love. When the child was born, it took an enormous toll on her body. She was scarred from the birth and her husband took the baby the instant it was born and kept the child away from the mother. Meridith’s heart broke, and she lay weeping in her bedchambers for days on end. The final stroke, that changed her forever was when Jonathan brought home his young mistress and told her that she was finished in the marriage and that him and his new bride would be taking the child, and she would be exiled from the community. The community had to come detest Merideth, because once she had married her husband she was kept in her home, and he would not let her aid the sick. After one woman lost a child because Meridith could not come as a midwife, the community lost faith in her abilities. Jonathan managed to destroy her world through his thoughtless cruelties and by taking away her only child. Meredith had believed in love and in the goodness of people until the day Jonathan was going to cast her from his home as an outcast to be reviled by the community. That was the night Meredith changed. To get back at her husband she slunk through the home and grabbed a large dagger and went to the babies room. She killed the child in a fit of rage and despair. In her act she betrayed one of the fundamentals of motherhood, that of taking the life of your own child. As she cried tears of rage, the blood that touched her skin transformed it, making the life seem to come back into it. She was astonished and put her bloody hand to the scars that had deformed her from the childbirth, and they seemed to melt away. Meredith then began to spread the blood all over herself and felt youth and vitality infuse her body as well as a new strength. As she stood there she began to laugh and weep tears of joy. She was remade. She went into her husband’s room with the dagger and slit his throat, and watched as he desperately tried to stop the blood flow. The young mistress screamed and tried to escape from the room but Merideth, with her new strength grabbed the girl’s hair and dragged her into the kitchen, where she cut her in a frenzy making the blood flow freely. She then cupped the blood and anointed herself once again. The blood of the women fully restored her beauty and as she looked at her bloodstained face in a mirror she noticed the beauty restored to her features, and the vitality and strength she felt moving through her veins. She left the home that night, moved into the forests where she made a home for herself to learn more of this newfound power she had discovered. She lured women and men into the forests and did unspeakable things to them, as she grew ever more powerful in her knowledge and bloodlust. In the blood she found new life, a new sense of purpose and a new power that she could use to make sure she was never inferior again. In the years that followed Merideth learned of ways to use blood to gain power over others, as well as using her healing talents to find out the poisons and brews which could alter the mind, put people to sleep, create sudden love and even brew death itself. This is the Legend of the first Blood Witch, and she herself found a remarkable young women who she passed down the gifts of Blood Magic too, and that women shared her secrets with another. All of these women are rumoured to be remarkable in their beauty, their skilful use of manipulation and their lust for blood and power. “The woman takes a deep breath and looks at you and says “This is the Legend as it was told to me”. You take a deep breath, for stories as dark as this always are unnerving. She grins and looks at your empty teacup “Did you enjoy your tea?” You nod your head and began to ask her a question, but she stops you before you can. “You are wondering how I know so much aren’t you?” she sweetly says. You again nod. She pauses for a moment and looks and you with her remarkable green eyes. “I will let you in on a little secret, one which has been mine for some time. I have seen the ways of the Blood Witch and those powers you find so disturbing are mine to control and use!” She laughs and stands up and begins to pace. “These powers are so intoxicating, so unique, and they provide me with what I desire most – eternal beauty. The power of the Blood Witch is not just in the prolonging of youth, we learn how to create the most exquisite pain in all creatures, how to perfect the bloodletting. We are ruthless and cunning and we are skilful in our manipulation of men and women. We might be your mother, your sister or your daughter and you would never know until we held the knife up against your throat!” Your eyes open with shock as you realize the situation you are in. She continues on, “We are always there behind the scenes, and I am the Blood Witch which will unite all the rest. We will be strong, we will be beautiful and we will be ruthless. No man will see us for what we are, and we will be the puppeteers of all those who fall to our charms and powers. Aegis has never seen our kind before, and they will never see us, for we will be hidden in the guise of the most beautiful and kind of women. The time of Blood Witch is upon us, and the Blood Siren of Aegis will arise, and what we create through blood and power will be most glorious.” As she continues to pace and talk, her face becomes ever more animated. You stand up, and try to bolt for the door. Halfway there, your legs give out and you collapse to the floor with heavy breathing. You hear the sounds of her shoes clicking on the marble floor as she approaches you and stands above you. She looks radiant with beauty, and her cheeks are flushed from her excitement. “You don’t think I would let you leave after I revealed so much of the Blood Witch’s to you, do you?” She lets out a chillingly melodic laugh. “There were narcotics in the tea I gave you,” and she smiles that beautiful smile and her eyes sparkle. Your eyes grow heavy and you begin to fall into a deep slumber as you hear her say, “You have provided some entertainment for the evening, and now your blood, your life essence, will be mine, and I will be terrible in my Beauty.”
