You could start a brush fire of sorts... that would not damage the trees, just some of the buildings. Just like in some forests, with out a good forest fire, no new trees could grow.

It added a new element to the server. A magical object that changes a players race - There were stories of someone being forced to change race by being thrown in. That's adding something new, very different from relaxing a RP restriction players took upon themselves that other players are not expected to follow.

From where I'm standing there might be some underlying tensions and resounding past clashes here, but I think if we sit down, leave our pasts at the door and pledge to avoid words like 'nepotism' and 'fruitface' we can come to some kind of mutual understanding.

I can not tell Octavius to not say fruitface ig... Would be meta...;P

A. This is news to me, so whether an melodramatic or exaggeration. The phrase "Mountain out of a molehill" coming to mind.

B. Any complaints about the mori players or playerbase, or my own leadership should be reported to me personally. If they aren't, that isn't my problem that I am "ignoring or dismissing it". If you have problems, PM me, contact me in game, or equally through TS - I am always about.

And last but not least,

C. This thread has sized up to be a mori'quessir hate thread. Passive aggressive, or coy pokes and prods at the goings on are noticeable, and aren't really productive. Every race, every roleplay has its good rpers and likewise bad, every race and roleplay also has its share of dramatics, problems and complaints. Positive encouragement or useful critisim, even opinions and advice are easily more helpful than simply pointing, nit-picking and clinging to negative remarks - simply put, help people be better by being helpful, not hateful.

I was not calling for really anyone to do all of this. I wanted the High elves and mori to stop all this. You are kinding of being hipocritical. With your clever little insult about Brett and about our GM APPROVED lore. Our little pools do not really effect you at all, but the pumpkins effect everyone... just as an example.

This post is completely OOC but it is about ig experiences. It seems. Both rp and OOC that there is a dividing line between Mori players and high elf players. Everyday, there is a new problem with a Mori player or a complaint is filed and Dusk ignores and dismisses it. I know it is not really my place to say anything, but I believe there needs peace to come to this basically OOC war between our two groups of players. I can deal with the IC, pardon my elven, bull that I have gotten from Mori role-play. I have normally only seen them on a bad day, making excuses and begging for their pumpkins back. That is another matter for another day. This seems too much us verses them... I am an open minded person most of the time.... And I try to be nice, but this is boiling out of control. Everytime a Mori shows up at our gates, my mind thinks, not again. We discuss filing ban reports and stuff, but really, we don't want to see anyone banned. I do not know what the problem is, but, the members of the HERP community, I ask you to be the first to be open minded to the Mori and be the better Mali.

Talias, Nelecar, and all other Mali'Aheral, it should be our first priority to find Ellir and bring her back to the our blessed city. But, where to look? I do not believe her to be with the Mali'Ker. I saw we offer a minas reward for any information, proven useful, to help us find Ellir.
