Many things fuelled this lone flame in the frozen mountains of the North lands, the loss of the being from whom he suckled his daily meals at birth, perhaps even the God gifted mind he was blessed with, a mind fuelled by the cogs of mechanics and the clashing of hot iron on anvils. This bright flame, throughout its early kindling, learned the ways of the iron and steel, the ways of the crossbow and fletching, and most importantly, the young kindling flame learnt that the world beyond his frozen realm was much brighter and hope-worthy than he could have ever imagined… Seconds, days, months, years, the ticks and the tocks of the fairly old grandfather watch echoed throughout the small cottage, and at the age of 18, it was the last time he ever heard of the grandfather clock tick, for at the age of 18, the young, adventure seeking young man decided to embark on a quest, and foolish as he was, not knowing where he wanted to go, but only to follow his dreams, he did so. He followed his dreams, and it led to a man with a beard as grey as ash in the city of Salvus no less, and the ash bearded man knew much of the wonders of technology, he was himself after all an inventor, and so for the next couple of years or so, as the grandfather clock ticked away, the seeds of knowledge were planned in young Viktor’s head, and as he grew, so did they, along with his passions… Now his passions have led him straight to the true marvel of the mighty Oren empire itself, its open gates a welcoming to either his success or failure, all depending on how fait smiles upon Viktor, though he believes in no such fait, or destiny, he knows enough to believe that he will not be stopped, and those in his path will simply have to doused for his own flame to grow… Ambitions for the future: Honing my skills as a Blacksmith and Crafting to a master’s level. Personality: Easily agitated, Trustworthy, a bit rough on the edges but means no harm to most. Skills: Smiting and Crafting / engineer. Appearance: Attached File Open-Response Questions 1. While standing in the might human Capital, I spot a dark-clothed figure moving in the direction of the Emperor’s palace. I wonder what he is up to so I follow him As I get within closer range, I hear mumbles from the man to assassinate the King. Whenfollowing him, I go through my possibilities and decide to start talking to the shady character in order to slow him down and to get more information. I start off with a simple “Greetings friend! How are you this fine day?” The man is not in the mood to talk but this gives me more time nevertheless. While walking I keep the conversation going, not far a group of guards is keeping watch. This gives me an idea and I proceed in giving the shady man my purse full of golden coins, but as soon as the individual takes it I shout: "Help, this man is robbing me help!" this, of course attracts the guard and they proceed in taking the strange man away. As they grab the man, the pouch of golden coins falls to the floor. I grin, picking up the pouch and thanking the creator for my luck in the situation. The man is obviously enraged, shouting and cursing. I simply place the pouch of gold in my bag, and continue on my way. 2. While walking through a oak forest I see a old man, poorly armed and weak, being threatened by a group of obviously strong and better armed men. Even though I am poorly armed I will still make an attempt to save the poor old man out of his misery. I decided to makes use of the trees to hide and set up an ambush. As soon as the group of man passes under me, I throw down stones to spread confusion and fear. The group of men seems to be very confused and surprised and some of them have even slipped over the more round multitudes of pebbles. I hear much cursing and shouting. Before the group of bandits gets the time to recover I jump in and begin to take a whack at the remaining men, my only weapon a sharpened stone blade. The battle is only evenly tied by the weapons the ill trained bandits possessed and my skills as a mediocre swordsman. I manage to defeat most of them by blows to the unprotected neck and crotch. As the battle came to an end, the remaining bandit realized that he had lost his power in numbers, and fled the scene. He shouted and screamed of revenge, but I payed little attention to this. I was too injured to go on with my journey, and so asked the old man for a nights rest to recover. He agreed and the next morning I departed the scene, on a hunger for more adventure. 3. When wandering through the human capital, a Merchant selling cheap goods and he offers me a haggle and allow me to choose the price. Of course I take this change to get cheaper goods for my weapons. I reach to grasp one of the wares, but the merchant’s wary eyes make me slowly draw my hand back. I begin negotiating with the merchant, saying “How much for this?” or “No! No! That’s absurd!”, but it turns out that he is not easily convinced, as he retorts with “Tell that to them tax payers!” and I can't get the price the numbers I want them to be. I am in a bad mood and the stitches and bandages from my previous battle with the bandits is only a constant irritation. I use brute force to slam a fist down upon the table and then negotiate with the Merchant, saying “So, you won’t yield, eh!” He complies with the requests, his eyes ashaken and so I buy what I need, food, water and an iron blade, at last. No sooner than I depart the stall, the Merchant calls the guards to report my behaviors. I sigh at the shouts of “Guards, Guards! This man is no better than a thief!”, and I explaining to the guards that. I was slightly hung-over from and tired, and meant no harm. The guards then recognized me as the man who reported the traitor, and said “Look, you saved a man’s life today, for that we’ll let ye off, just this once, got it?” and I answer back “Of course, won’t happen again.” Let off with a stern warning, and I carry along, smiling smugly at the merchant as I wander to the other nearby stalls…

I try to talk to the man to get a cheaper price even though I do my best I can’t get the price lower then 50%. Because I am in a bad mood I accuse the men of selling goods for too high of a price.
