My mother was a wannabe druid she was an elf my dad was a human but my mother didn’t birth me it was someone else I never met. My mom was always working in the field of druidism for entertainment. When I was a kid of 5 while I was out playing on my dad’s work site; I hit the support beam he was on and he fell; he was paralyzed. I felt awful because of the whole affair but he forgave me as result of this we were broke. The only jobs my father knew were physical so we had to get by without having him working. so me and my mother had to start doing odd jobs for the folk of Aegis I mostly did deliveries and my mom made food for people. We got by but life was no cake walk we sometimes went almost two days without food. I was always wanting to play around and my mom would always say don’t you have a delivery and I would always say I don’t want to and her famous quote was I didn’t want you and then she would smirk we both knew she was kidding but sometimes I wondered if she really meant it but usually brushed that idea off quickly. One day my dad called for me while I was in the kitchen and looked me straight in the eyes and said go in my chest by my bed and grab the velvet bag I replied yes of course when I returned with the bag he said it’s yours. I opened the bag to see a bow I was amazed by its beauty he smiled I began training with It and did my work by age 14 I could shoot more well than my father. The bow gave me something else to do other than sleep and work so it took up all my Léger time. One stormy night I was sound asleep when I heard a loud thud I quickly jumped to my feet and grabbed my bow. I then proceeded to walk toward the noises source to see my mother being dragged out the door I fired once clipping the side of his robe and to get away he ripped the piece of the robe off when I examined it. It appeared to be a black hand(OOCI don’t know if they do wear robes but I need it for my lore so this one did LOL)IC I ran to my father and showed him when he woke the look of his face looked pale and he said they caught up with us trying to get to his feet he said pack a bag NOW I ran for my room and through all my clothes in a sack and ran for my dad he said go without me now. I quickly to object said no but he insisted he grabbed a flint and lit the room a blaze I jumped For the door crying he smiled and said they won’t find you. I ran from the house silently I looked back only once to see the ashes of my home I longed for an answer so I began asking questions about this hand when I entered a local pub at 16 I got my first piece of evidence the man said how did you get this I replied a family friend he said skah tell me the truth so I said a man left it for me he said ok beat it kid as I left the pub I saw a man with a simmilar face to the man I saw that night. with a cup i hit him in the face. Also I wasn’t the only child in the army so I had normal teenage years from 13-15 that’s when all the battles started we were attack every day and schooling turn purely into war training I was taught to use a bow since I’m an elf. The humans were taught with a sword orcs and dwarves axes of course this was quiet racist but I liked the bow the most luckily. so when I we had an attack when I was training I was shocked by my ability to kill I had probly killed like 7 people. My father proud for the first time I was so happy I was always referred to as skah killer by all the orcs which apparently my father didn’t approve of. The wars ended when I was 15 a week before my birth day and the day of my birth day was the best day of my life. I was given my first and my first true Elven bow it started out I woke up and was woken by my father saying good morning my young man which I found quiet embarrassing because all my friends were there I then had a party with the best cake every afterwards everyone was sitting around and then a fine soldier with a coat full of metals of valor handed me a golden helm he said my mother sent it to the army base who forwarded it to your father who asked me to present it to you to mark you coming of manhood. . .then my dad said Aven you deserve this handing me a bow with golden details and redwood that appeared to be super compact he said give it a try so I picked it up and fired it went through a small tree I fell silent with excitement the party slowly died down I then went to sleep When I woke up I told my dad that I wish to go back to the home land and learn other skills to better my life he approved and I did the first thing was to learn how to fight with my bow better because I wanted to be strong I went hunting every night I eventually made friends on land and had a good life going for 8 months then I felt it the call for war I tracked down my fathers army and joined the battle again I fought alongside him and was happy until we saw the enemies undead. I was given my first and my first true Elven bow it started out I woke up and was woken by my father saying good morning my young man which I found quiet embarrassing because all my friends were there I then had a party with the best cake every afterwards everyone was sitting around and then a fine soldier with a coat full of metals of valor handed me a golden helm he said my mother sent it to the army base who forwarded it to your father who asked me to present it to you to mark you coming of manhood. . .then my dad said Aven you deserve this handing me a bow with golden details and redwood that appeared to be super compact he said give it a try so I picked it up and fired it went through a small tree I fell silent with excitement the party slowly died down I then went to sleep When I woke up I told my dad that I wish to go back to the home land and learn other skills to better my life he approved and I did the first thing was to learn how to fight with my bow better because I wanted to be strong I went hunting every night I eventually made friends on land and had a good life going for 8 months then I felt it the call for war I tracked down my fathers army and joined the battle again I fought alongside him and was happy until we saw the enemies undead.
