The only thing I don't understand about this is: If you're going to tell us to use proper grammar, I would use proper grammar to do so.

Here's another try. I realized that in previous applications, that the story wasn't exactly as original as I was aiming for. So, after a bit of thought, I was aiming for a more "unique" story that didn't stem too far from the lore. Being able to make environments and situations that center around the character, and being able to see how they react, this even more enticing. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: About 3-5 days a week. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: I've been roleplaying for years, whether or not I was fully aware of it. As I managed to get a better understanding of it, I was able to actually look for others who share the same love of it. Roleplaying is being able to immerse yourself into a story as a character (or in some cases, characters) and play them out as if they were in an environment. Depending on their personalities, they would act a certain way, and talk to others in a specific manner. Being able to completely change the way a character talks to someone else is an awesome thing. If you can see yourself in your character's place and successfully play in their role, then you're talented. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. It's a poor form of roleplaying, really. It's unable to distinguish borders between your character and allows you to delve into territory which is just unrealistic, thus ruining the experience for others around you. Besides, no one likes to play with someone who thinks they have all the power in the world. What do you expect this server will be like?: Organized and very fun. After looking around a bit, I can see that the world is very neat and clean. It's easy to lose yourself as you're just walking down a pathway to a town and slip into your character. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on my friend's server about a year ago. It was fun, but it was unstable and tended to be filled with the types of people that weren't very fun. It's really not cool to go to your city and find a giant obsidian phallic item sitting in the center. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, yes and yes. I figured that I could go much further that before. So, here it is. Character Name: Straef, Claw of the Badger. What is your Race?: Human. Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Straying from the human kingdom, Straef has turned onto his own path, in an attempt to forge his own kingdom. Originally from another land, he has grown tired of his oppressed nation and has sought freedom in the world around him. He stays away from organized factions to avoid falling into the same, corrupt trap of his homeland. Straef has taken many names throughout his life, and at the age of 25 he has claimed his most recent one. While his name may change, he still holds his title, Claw of the Badger. His title was given to him by the Militia of his home. Despite the corruption his city had, the respect for its military has proven to be permanent reminder of strength, duty and order. The badger was seen to be a general nuisance of society. Yet, despite its annoyances, it proved to be strong, cunning and unpredictable. Its claw served its weapon, and could provide devastating results, despite its simpleness. The badger has become a staple of strength and honor in Straef's old nation, and he holds the title with dignity and honor-- to cleanse the land of chaos and destruction. The personality of Straef has developed from his experiences in life. As a child, he was happy, timid and willing to take any order given to him. However, as the years passed, he has learned to hate society and the world around him. He has grown cynical and cold. Despite his harsh view on the world, he still holds a sliver of hope. In his attempt to find a new land to call his own, he wishes to find those who hold a higher value of life and loyalty than those of his previous nation. Your characters ambitions: What fuels the ambitions of Straef is to purge the world of chaos and disorder. He wishes to ground order and law onto the lands of Aegis. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Slipping over his armor onto his face, from under his hood, he readies his weapon and charges. His left arm, armored with a large gauntlet obliterates the jaw of the smaller of the two bandits. Falling to the ground, the man screams in agony. The elf, now a few feet back, stares in horror as the man wriggles around the grass as blood seeps from his wounds. Taking a pause to eye the other bandit, Straef proceeds to taunt the man, asking if he wishes to experience the same fate as his ally. As sweat begins to form on the ridges of the man's eyebrow, he drops the knife from his left hand and shuffles to his friend. Lifting him from his arms, he drags him into the wilderness, as the damaged man screams into the dark. Straef looks onto the elf and motions her towards the cottage. He then starts to walk down the path, opposite from her, knowing that she can now take care of herself. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? My flesh is raw from the cold. So, due to the new system, it seems that a bunch of threads were "deleted". They might have been pushed back to an archive and are being reviewed, but I wanted to make another application just in case. If this thread is a bother, then it's totally understandable if it's deleted. But I figure I would rather be safe than to wait a week and figure that I didn't have my original thread afterall! A normal server just doesn't suit me for the type of gaming I like. I like to immerse myself in the game, and it's really hard to sit in a city you created while enjoying your own story you made for it with people saying how much they love tacos and killing one another. Seeing as the bandits are unorganized in their combat, with cold eyes and frail bodies, Badgers realizes that the fight will prove itself to be a failure. However, despite the bandits' poor structure, the elf appears to be struck with fear. Sighing at the situation, Badgers leans up against the tree and walks forward. Pulling out a small pouch, he pulls out a small rock. He tosses it into the woods, behind one of the bandits as a distraction. Taking his spear from his back, he flings it at the unsuspecting bandit, impaling his shoulder. The elf's reaction turns into horror as the blood trickles from the screaming man. The remaining bandit stares out into the woods with shock staining his face. The bandit flings his knife onto the ground as he picks up his friend and drags him into the woods. As Badgers leaves the tree, the elf stands back in shock. Nodding in approval, he responds, "They weren't any threat. You're fine." The elf nods in reassurance and mutters, "What about your weapon?" With a laugh, he replies, "They needed it more than I did," and walks back into the woods. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. Any other specific answers other than biography? As for the biography, I'll continue. Most of what has been expected in my life was to make Coppergale a better place to live. Originally a pacifist, I have instead found an alternative to war, which has been a reoccurring theme in the surrounding area. This alternative was a way to help forge a defense against the many kingdoms which stood against Coppergale. Placed within the heart of the Diamond Pike village, I sat working on a new form of power: steam. However, that dream was cut short. To the south of the city, Aerilias, the sky nation, has been crafting an airship platoon-- schematics which have been taken from me by an Aerilian spy. Their ultimate goal was to conform the eastern isle of Coppergale into a Skyport-- a facility to place troops on the front line against the city. The west of the city stood a hard kingdom, called Sejin City. Ruled under a tyrannical dictator, who he claimed himself "King Sejin", the city has been closed off by outsiders. Until only recently, Sejin has opened his walls and has forced construction on the nearby land. Unfortunately, due to the close proximity of Sejin City with Coppergale, his construction has been creeping up on the plots which stand under Coppergale. A few encampments have been placed in the city borders and spies have been dispatched in the city limits. Finally, a newer nation, Seawatch stands on the coast northwest of Coppergale. Originally, a peaceful nation, created for the harboring of sailors, Seawatch now has fallen under command of Sejin. The Captain Guard of Seawatch has forged a pact with Sejin, sharing power between the two nations. Due to the weak will of the Captain Guard, he was easily dispatched as second-in-command and full command was given to Sejin. ((This actually happened on the previous server I was on)) Now sitting on the brink of a four-nation war as well as facing the internal forces against Coppergale, I have now brought myself onto the fray. Using my schematics against the nations, I have luckily brought down most of their ranks. Unfortunately, the airships of Aerilias have brought down half the city's food supplies. Now, crippled by hunger, the unfortunate civilians have turned over to the forces of the Temple of the Rose. If you need more, I can always add. Otherwise, what else specifically do I need?

The island's rule came from a temple and tower filled with religious monks from the "Temple of the Rose". The monks' main goal was to cleanse the island from its "taint". As the years went by, more and more people either fell into the rule of the monks, or they were slaughtered. Wanting to get away, I set ship for the nearest piece of land. Of course, by "ship" I mean airship, which has been a new invention I've been toying with. The details are fuzzy between Coppergale and the new world of mine. I haven't an idea what happened to the past life I once had.
