In-Character:
Character Name: Fuji
What is your Race?: Human
Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Born around thirty years ago, Fuji hails from the forests between the Cloud Temple of Aegis and Oren, in a now defunct village. Fuji was raised by only his father, a blacksmith by trade, more specifically a bladesmith who made his living forging heirloom weaponry for only the finest warriors of Aegis. Fuji's lineage was comprised of prominently bladesmiths, and after many decades, his ancestors were able to pen a forging technique that was difficult to compete with. All of the clan's creations feature an insignia that is also tattooed on each generation. Following in his father's footsteps, Fuji is also a bladesmith, however he is more of an artisan when it comes to forging weaponry, instead opting to create ornate steel fishing poles to support his hobby-turned-profession as an angler. Although he can make deadly weaponry, Fuji prefers to live as a pacifist, making his money in fishing treasures, and selling his catch of the day to hungry travelers. That is not to say however that Fuji is not a skilled swordsman, or a pushover. Since an early age, his fellow townspeople would teach their youth how to handle a blade as well as hand to hand combat via a very distinct style of martial arts. At around 6 feet tall, with a sturdy frame, he is a very honor driven man who will lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Your characters ambitions: Fuji hopes to establish his own township on the ocean, in honor of his ancestors who had helped found the village he is from. He hopes to lead not only a village, but a thriving economy off of his creations.
Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Fuji would approach the bandits with his coin purse, offering to pay them off in order to leave the elf alone. Peace is important to Fuji, although he realizes that peace cannot always be achieved. If the bandits decide to stick around, Fuji would unsheathe his blade and attempt to settle the problem by aiding the elf in battle. As mentioned earlier, Fuji may not prefer to fight, but he is a skilled combatant who will stop at nothing to achieve peace.
Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Fuji would start by bowing to the shopkeeper, a polite gesture used in his village. "Hello sir. As you may see by my fishing rod, I'm an angler and I have brought today's catch with me. I would like to sell you my catch for a fair price.", Fuji would start. If the shopkeeper shows some respect, Fuji would sell the fish for a discounted price, no problem and continue on his way. If the shopkeeper shows no interest, Fuji would appear to be insulted, but not angry. He would take his catch with him, bow to the shopkeeper, thanking him for his time, and proceed to donate the catch to the orphanage.
