  1. Who we are: The Blackguard Enterprise is a trade guild comprised of slavers, cannibals, ransom artists, black market dealers, murderers, and torturers. What do we do: Our slavers capture, sell, and buy the people of Asulon for profit. Whether we're dealing slaves to the Black Hand, Orcs, or the Dark Brotherhood, we'll sell and buy slaves for a good price. It's our business. Our ransom artists capture notable government officials and return them to their "loved" ones for higher prices. Our black market dealers sell stolen and valuable goods to those who wish to buy them. The Legend: Guild Leaders: Welshie and ________: The guild leaders share the power of the guild to make sure the other doesn't get too power hungry. They can do everything that someone below is permitted to do. Sects: Our main sects are Slavery, The Black Market, and the Ransom Art, but with have smaller sects that consist of Torture and Cannibalism. Slavery Sect Ranks*: Chattel-Master: Keeps track of current slaves, their condition, and other technical stuff. He may also tell the Slave Hawk what person to enslave. Requires: 4 Slave Hawk: Gathers the slaves and brings them to the base of operations; also delivers and receives slaves from others. Requires: 1, 2a/b Peon Dealer: Speaks with those who wish to buy or sell slaves, and sets up a time, place, and price. He may also tell the Slave Hawk which person to enslave. These plans are given to the Slave Hawk. Requires: 4 Lackey: Feeds the slaves and cleans their cells; and the entire base. The lackey is usually a slave himself. Requires: No evils. *All ranks here are also used for Ransom art. Chattel-Master also keeps track of ransoms and their conditions, etc. The Black Market: Goods Dealer: Keeps track of stolen goods and valuables. Also tells the Plunderer what goods to steal. The equivalent of the Chattel-Master. Requires: 4 Plunderer: Steals the goods or valuables and stores them in the guild bank. Also physically sells them to buyers and buys them from sellers. The equivalent of a Slave Hawk. Requires: 1 Coordinator: Organizes the selling and buying of goods to other people, and sets up a price, time, and place. Also gives the Plunderer a list of goods to steal. Requires: 4 Torture Sect: Pain Matriarch: Tortures slaves; also kills them if they are needed for cannibalism. Requires: 1, 2a/b Pain Engineer: Creates types of torture and traps for the slaves; a master of redstone circuitry.** Requires: No evils. ** The Pain Engineer may also program piston doors and stairs for the base, and other redstone contraptions. Cannibalism Sect: Special Chef: Prepares meals of living or dead slaves for cannibalism. Requires: 1, 2a/b Guild Rules: OOC: To be more efficient in the guild, a villain application for 1, 2a/b and 4 is recommended. The great thing about this is that you don't have to kill anyone, unless your job specifies you to. No violation of any server rules while you are in our guild. If you violate any rules of the guild or the server, you will be kicked from our ranks; or worse, enslaved. IC: You are allowed to be in other villainous guilds, such as the Dark Brotherhood or a bandit guild. We wouldn't want a Peacekeeper in our base, unless they were a slave. No lying or stealing to/from other members of the guild or from those we deal with (slave buyers and sellers). Never mention the name of the guild to others OOC or IC. Ever. Application: Other Information: I am still adding and subtracting things as we go, but for this most part this is The Blackguard Enterprise. If you have any questions, ask here. You can also apply here by replying. We need builders for our base (when our town charter is accepted), and I need a guild master to rule by my side.
  2. VILLAGE CHARTER MC Name: SpartanA116 RP Name: Pelegrino Village Name: The Village of Philosophers Why is your character starting this village/settlement? What is its purpose? Pelegrino is a philosopher and researcher seeking knowledge and wisdom concerning such arts like Science, Literature, History and Math. Without a place to stay, he has found that research very hard to maintain. The Village of Philosophers is meant for anyone who needs a place to stay, but also is interested in researching the above arts as a team. Together, they can unravel many of Asulons' mysteries. What type of political system or leadership is within the village? Pelegrino will serve as a "mayor", and forsee all village projects. He is wise enough to know what is and isn't dangerous. He will immediately kick out someone who is scheming to create terrible weapons, or murdering another village resident. Other than above, the villagers will have much freedom concerning leadership. What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.) •Residents shall not plot to or attempt to murder other village members. •Village members shall keep their mind open to others' ideas and philosophies for theory. •No racism is allowed. Even if someone is an Orc, they can still pursue Math or Science. More rules may be established upon the development of the village. Where would you prefer the town’s region be? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map). I am going to get a screenshot/location of where I want the village soon. (Once the server cools down I will find a spot). Any other details (architecture, races, culture, etc): The architecture will be decided upon once the village is formed. Players who have agreed to sign this charter (5 name minimum): IGN: Pelegrino | OOC Name: SpartanA116 IGN: Brunhyldir | OOC Name: BoogerBuster
  3. ((Yes. I have not looked at where I am going to put it though, so I am waiting to create the charter until I have enough people/can get on the map.))
  4. You see a note pinned on a tree next to the Cloud Temple. It reads: Are you a researcher of science, literature, history or math? Are you looking for a small place to root yourself and talk amongst colleagues about philosophies, research, theories, and technology? I, Pelegrino Mascolo, am looking for fellow persons to live in a small settlement (a village, if you will) so that we may do such things. In our own little haven, we can freely study the works of: • Literature: Fiction Books, Old Tales, Lost books of Aegis, diaries • Science: Redstone Theorem, Cannon Prototypes, Anatomy, Alchemy • Math: Angles, Shapes, Building Structure • History: Aegis, Ruins of Asulon I am not looking for a guild. I am just trying to get this village so that fellow researchers and philosophers have a place to stay, and a place to study. Please, sign your name here if you are interested, and I shall contact you. Signed, Current list of those who have agreed to become a part of the village: Brunhyldir ((BoogerBuster)) Pelegrino Mascolo (( I am looking to create a village of people who need a place to stay, but are also greatly interested in philosophy, writing, and redstone. This is not a guild, and I don't want it to be. Please send me a message on the forums or comment on here if I may put your name down on my village charter. Thank you! PM me if you have any questions! ))
  5. Out-Of-Character: Minecraft Account Name: SpartanA116 Did you attend minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?: No, I did not. How old are you?: 14. Time-Zone/Country of Residence: PST/USA Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes I do. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a video game nerd who is in band. And I am awesome. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Weekly, I could be on at least 7 hours. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: This is an alternate account of Brunhyldir, who has 2 accounts already accepted. Roleplaying is taking and doing the actions of someone else, and completely acting like the world of Aegis is the only world. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is using OOC information IC. For example, if I heard someone say in OOC chat: "Bob is in Oren and he is wanted by the King!" , I couldn't start running to Oren to kill Bob. My character doesn't know that he's there. Powergaming is when you suddenly give your character a trait or power that is unheard of or stupid. Like, "I am Iblees, so I can just kill you." , or "I have a magical spell that makes me invincible". What do you expect this server will be like?: I already know what it's like. It's awesome. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on BattleCraft and the server that Yogscast plays on, and they both sucked. No maintenance and a ton of griefing. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have, 3 times. How did you hear about us?: Originally, I was just looking for a good server to play on and found you guys on Minestatus. Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you? No, not today. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Pelegrino Mascolo, Brunhyldir, Fishy_Tots, and Bencia. In-Character: Character Name: Pelegrino Mascolo What is your Race?: Human. Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Age: His body is 22 in Earth years. Physical Description: A tall, skinny young man who wears glasses. He has always wanted to get a monocle (because his right eye is the only one with bad vision), but didn't mind his glasses. He usually wears a long brown coat and brown pants. (see skin) History: Childhood: Pelegrino Mascolo was born from his father, Alegrani Mascolo, and his mother, Menacinni Baltrano. HIs early childhood life was spent contently as an only child, playing with dolls and sets based off of famous notables: Petyr Brandybuck, the famous Druid; Availer, the mystical Wandering Wizard; and the dark evil Tyrion of the Undead just to name a few of his favorites. His father was a local shopkeeper, and kept the entire town in order with his wide variety of goods. Because of this, Pelegrino lived in a very expensive home, and his mother did not have to work. Pelegrino was home-schooled by his mother and father, and he became particularly interested when they reached the astounding subjects of literature and science. Books -- records of ancient fairy tales and baffling history -- fascinated him, and he learned to love how redstone wiring and animal structure worked. Even at such a young age, Pelegrino began to write short stories of mystical monsters and heroes, and his grammar and sentence structure were surprisingly superb. Teenage Years: As Pelegrino hit the age of 15, Alegrani, his father, became extremely ill, and could not leave his bed. Pelegrino was left to run the bustling trade shop that his father had spent years maintaining and keeping in the prime of shape. Mennacinni had to stay at home to tend to his father, so Pelegrino had to run the shop himself, unable to recieve much advice from his sick father. Using his great math skills, however, he was able to keep the store up and running, of course after the voluntary help of some neighbors and townspeople. However, being home-schooled, he had no social skills. Although he could keep the shop in ship shape (and perhaps in even better condition than his father had kept it), none of the townspeople liked him at all. They found him cold, harsh and just unfriendly. But he sure had a nice shop. After a year, Alegrani passed. Many in the town mourned his death, but most of the talk was now about Pelegrino and his mother. Were they going to maintain the shop or sell it? After all, Pelegrinos "ownership" of it was only declared temporary. Finally, after a long discussion with the townsfolk and his mother, Pelegrino decided to sell the shop. That was never his dream anyways. His mother and him had just enough money to lay around for as long as they needed, so Mennacinni urged him to finally follow his own path. Early Adulthood: Now 18, Pelegrino had long known what he wanted to do for the world when he was old enough. He was always mystified by those figures he played with and books he read as a child, and the history of the land he lived in. Science and technology amazed him, especially new ideas that he was extremely eager to figure out. Pelegrino spent the next two years in hard study of philosophy, science, literature, and history. He studied the science of animals, took notes on the progression of the Druids magic, and the trade styles of Orcs... it all amazed him. After realizing he needed to spread his ideas and seek more knowledge from places he hadn't even been to, he finally waved goodbye to his mother and his town and left for a trek across Aegis, in search of enlightenment (not the religious kind, the knowledge kind). He came upon so many ideas on how to run things differently and more efficiently. He calculated crimes faster than some of the detectives that had been assigned to the case. Seemingly to him, everything could be achieved through research, note-taking, and writing. However, Pelegrino was wrong. There was one single thing that could not be learned from a book, or researched to extent: peoples skills. Pelegrino was still terrible around others. Things that they didn't understand were almost mocking to him. The religions that they believed in were just lies to give false hope; the "tactics" that were shown by the colleagues around him insulted him. Therefore, Pelegrino decided to stay away from society as much as he could. He could only trust himself, his books, and his research. Now, Pelegrino wanders Aegis, studying things that most would find boring, but in the process creating things that could change the fate of Aegis forever. Some of his ideas include a wired propeller that could send TnT flying, or multiply colored flares that could be thrown in the sky. Your characters ambitions: To make Aegis more efficient, invent things, and become one of the best philosphers and writers to be known in the land. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Pelegrino is not good with people, and would easily lose in a fight among armed bandits. He quickly hides behind something, however, and takes notes on their fighting styles from afar. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? "Hello, sir. Do you have any redstone or gunpowder?" A screenshot of your skin: I took a skin off of LoTC that some of you may find familiar. But he I find that he looks good as a representation for my character. Other Information: SpartanA116 is already accepted into the server, but I killed him off in a massive RP battle long ago. I am just now creating a new character now, though. SpartanA116 has been dead for a while, and I finally came up with a good idea for a character. Only reason I posted this is to get my new character accepted and my character card reset.
