  1. *Note attatched to the orginal scroll* Evelecent?

Passes by the advertisment before giving it a breif nod as he removes a small shard of charcoal, no larger then that of a peble. He raises his hand, places the coal against the page. He runs a thin black line descending from thr man's comment. Followed by a simple mark. "Yes."

[sorry if I misspelt anything. Wrote this up quickly on my iPod during history class.]

  2. Stands at Hiebe's side. Tilting his head downward at his short teacher. "Hiebe, that look in your eyes... You're quite set on obtaining that relic for your music rune collection, aren't you?" Deke lets out a weary sigh. "I can lend you funds for the rune. But within reason. I'm no nobleman such as yourself."

  3. *Redbain grins, suspecting foul play on Eve. With hesitance he replies to the notice, hoping to speed up her death.*

I can tell you where she is, but you must meet me in a few elven days at the Cloud Temple Docks. You will not see me there immediately, but I'll be there.

    -Your Informant

"I know where she is. How much is the reward?"

    -Duke Aerios Vallark

Arriving from the end of the Human path, weary from his exhausting trip from Renatus. He slowly glares over at his advertisement, slowly approaching it as he reaches into his pocket. Removing a small object warped in a gray clothe littered with numerous black stains. From the clothe, he removes a small shard of charcoal as be draws of thin black 'X' through the Informant's response. He steps eye, eying the Duke's attachment. Scoffing at the thought of seeking assistance from a nobleman. As he contemplates he sighs in frustration, raising the dull shard over to the page.

"Eight hundred minas would be appropriate, wouldn't you think Mr. Vallark?"

He writes in hesitation, warping the charcoal whipping the ends of his thumb and index finger, attempting to remove black smudges from his fingers before placing it back within his pocket.

  4. *See's the post in the sanctuary and puts a note besides it*

Do not fall for this people of Asulon. Any masks you can make is capable of protecting you from this Plague. So my suggestion is you make your own masks people.

[sorry to OOC. But you're quite wrong mate. Having a mask is completely different from having one of the TAC masks which hold filters on them. Preventing coughs and other air-born methods of infection.]

  5. ((Don't mean to ooc, but all messenger birds are shot down if seen entering Holm, heero))

[Oh, I know that. Deke has only sneaked into Holm once in search of Hiebe, now he just sits by the ship's dock and gazes at the beloved sea of Holm. It's kind of his way of maintaining his sanity with the whole plague mumbo-jumbo. ^^]

P.S.: [but still, thank you for the reminder, I'll just add a line saying to send it to Holm's dock.]

  6. A small scrap of paper is attached to the original note;

"Why do you seek her? For all we know, we could be sending her to her death"

    There is no signature.

Deke approaches his notice as a mist of black gas clings tightly to his skin. He reaches into his rucksack and removes a large feather and a vial of black ink, resting before the tip of his shoes. He bends down, tapping the tip of the feather into the vial. Tapping it a second time against the vial's rim, allowing the excess liquid to make it's way back into the vial. Deke raises himself, the feather's point scratching against the paper. He draws a line descending from the man's comment. He begins to write a small message as he sighs, his shadowy veil shifting from side to side in the flowing wind of the Temple's Sanctum.

"I simply have a friend who wishes to return a pendent of a large value that belongs to her. I assure you, it's nothing more. I swear, I have no intention of harming her. Leave another message here or send a bird to the Cloud Temple or Holm's dock since Holm is within a state of paranoia due to the plague. Be careful for it not to far within Holm's borders. I'll be in either of those two places."

He writes, circling his message, connecting it to the line he had drawn before. He bends down, retrieving his vial and cleaning the point of the feather, leaving a gray staining tip in the place where the ink once stood. He tosses both into his rucksack, steadily tossing the bag over his back as he resumes his travel to the Cloud Temple.

  7. *As Dash makes a pass through with TAC mask on and functioning and a tight cloak over his body, the gold note catches his eye. He thinks out loud,*

"How is one supposed to send a bird to a man who has not given the location of his whereabouts and what use is this second note? The original poster has no reason to retun to this sign he has made and even more so he has no way of answering to it other than posting another note right after it in hopes the nameless questioner comes along in this hostile infected zone to read the answer. I have wasted my fresh air speaking to myself. I wonder who the real fools are in this world."

[Thank you very much Dash, I really didn't think this poster out too far since I wrote it on my iPod. Also, I'm fully aware of the fact it's posted on the Cloud Temple as Deke is un-affected to the plague in a sense as well as the the fact that the Monks surely still attempt to tend to others who have fallen to wounds like stabs and other things of that nature.]

  8. A crisp golden scroll is nailed to a column within the Cloud Temple Sanctum.

"To any and all humans, I'll make this blunt and simply skip to my need. I'm searching for a woman who resides within Seventis by the name of Eve. Any information that successful contributes to me making contact with her will be awarded with a generous sum of minas. Forward any information to Deke Valentine by any means being bird or even along the lines of a mindlink."

[My MineCraft name is 'HeeroZero' is anyone wishes to contact me in game.]

  9. Deke slowly gails though the windy valley of the vast, rolling plains of Salvus. As the infamous 'Blood Mage Temple' slowly appears over the horrizen, he stops, the sound of his boots come to a hault as he hears the single word that rings through his mind, signaling for a grin to slowly appears upon his lightly skinned human cheeks. He swiftly turns around eyes the two man speaking of a store selling a small, but valuable collection of jewels. Deke asks if these men have a piece of any form of documentation regarding the establishment. They slowly tilt their heads at him, before shortly passing him a badly mistreated sheet of paper. Deke sighs at the ugly notice, but still scans it carefully before nodding at it. Deke quickly scribbles a small message on the very back of the abuse page baring the letters largely printed on the back of the page; "I'll buy them all." Attaching the page, rolling it around his trusted white falcon before sending it out as he begins to whistle, resuming his original trip to the realm of Hanseti.

  10. "If you wish, I have two of both eyes and the orbs that haven't developed pupils yet. Take your pick..." He states, carelessly tossing on of those very pearls up, catching it repeatedly with his left palm, smiling at the blonde man. "Are you interested me?" He states, catching the pearl, the gem buried beneath his hand now, no longer toying with the gemstone.

  11. [*]Extend local chat by 100 blocks to compensate for the changes of OOC. (Original: 30 blocks)

[*]Removed shout and whisper channels, as they were not being utilized the way we wanted them to be; plus they will no longer be needed with the extended local chat.

[*]Skill System max level has been dropped from 275 to 200. Any accounts with more than 200 levels have been reset and given 200 skill credits. This is for game-play balancing.

[*]You will now be required to reroll your character on death. Failure to do so will result in an automatic 1 month ban, regardless if the kill was IC or OOC.

We'll be renaming the four default races to better fit our lore and gameplay feel. Here's a breakdown of all the new races:

    Human - Zelot

    Dwarf - Rockary

    Elf - Alfefe

    Orc - Grunshie

We'll be enforcing these new race names very strictly, any mention of the old names in lore posts or anything else related to LOTC will result in a permanent ban. We don't normally respond so strictly, but we feel it is critical to the survival of the server. All forums and in-game locations will be renamed accordingly to support this new naming system.

Thanks for your continued support and general awesomeness LOTC, keep it up! (And be sure to let us know what you think of this awesome new upcoming patch!)

1.) Vaq, please don't. Having local roughly possessing the same range an shout is just lotucis, chat boxes will be flooded. (Especially in places such as Salvus.)

2.)I can't speak on behalf of the entire server, but with me, I can count on one hand how many times someone has misused shout or whisper.

3.) Dropping the skills level is just going to cause problems. There are numerous people, shops, and even characters in some cases where the removal of the 275 level limit could impact. Just a horrible idea by far.

4.) I'm not too familiar with the term "reroll" on LoTC, but I think I can put two and two together. From my understanding, it's refill your character card/info sheet, no? I can see so much time and people being fed-up with such a thing.

5.) Changing the races, just no. Horrible idea. I doubt people are going to remember the new terms off the bat and even follow it. You're changing something that's been the core of the server for over eight months. I don't see how the current names are bad. They're simple, make sense and are perfectly fine the way it is now.

Vaq, I commend you, you're an excellent coder and have some amazing ideas. I don't know what happened, but these ideas for the new patch is just insane and horrendish. Please don't, just please.
