Name: Ralof Joa Age: 21 Reason for Joining: I have been a member of the Seventis Military since it was created, I have put alot of time and effort into my training. I have helped Seventis when it's needed it and I still wish to serve under Renati. I want to join the military for a purpose to myself, as if I was not a part of it I would just be a wanderer. Biography: Ralof grew up in the wilds by himself untill he was a young adult, because of his upgrowing he knows alot about survival. However he didn't really associate himself with others so his communication skills aren't very good. He has long, ginger hair and a large beard that covers everywhere but his face. He's 21 years old and prefers to use a bow then any other kind of weapon and because of his growth in the wild he will only carry his essentials. Eventually he started going to the cities to make a living and find easy food. He worked as a carpenter, as he had a small knowledge of woodwork. However, he soon had to leave because they found someone better. He looked around the town, got new jobs, lost jobs. Eventually he started wandering between the towns, making a living for himself. So now he live on the roads, hunting and finding shelters for himself. He almost always helps people, although sometimes he doesn't know if he's doing good or bad because he didn't grow up with either and never experienced it when in the cities. Because of this he is almost always bound to get into trouble, but he doesn't understand why. Weapon styles and abilities (with levels): I prefer to use my blade but occasionally I use my bows. Wrestling: 12) What sets you apart from the other candidates for our Legions?: I have been with Seventis since it was created, I know the town and surrounding area like the back of my hand and I am a very kind but strict guard. What are your life goals?: At the moment I have no life goals, but all I seek to do is help others. What morals do you have?: I absolutly hate criminals, I try my best to bring them to justice but I don't think of much else. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am currently at school, I enjoy gaming alot too. I enjoy roleplaying and I take any chance I get to roleplay. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: About 10 hours if not more, I think I could spend about 3 hours on each Saturdays and Sundays. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: My view of Roleplaying is a person living in the body of someone who they want to be, I love the roleplay as you can be as imaginative as you want. Sometimes I get lost in the plot beause some Roleplays are really good. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is when people use OOC information IC. An example of this is if someone had arguments with someone in real life, went on this RP and made their characters hate eachother because of these arguments, that would be metagaming. Also if your friend says something like: "I'm over here in my secret base found under the mountains," and then you just walk there without any IC knowledge of the place, or without maybe even meeting your friend ICly. Powergaming is when you force your actions against others. So if someone sneaks up on someone in the RP and then wants them to steal from/kill them and they just say: *Ralof slits the man's throat, killing him almost instantly.* Or: *Ralof takes all of the man's minas before he notices.* Those are examples of powergaming. I extremely dislike powergaming as it makes the game both unfair and not fun at all. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect the server to be full of people who enjoy roleplaying and are good at it too. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I never really played on any other but I did play on my friend's server, however he stopped playing minecraft and I did for a while too. Your characters ambitions: Ralof has a few humble ambitions, all he wants to do is survive and make a small sum of money so that he can find a nice place to stay. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? As Ralof always helps people, he would get to a vantage point and use his bow on the bandits. He would always try to stay to the shadows, and he knows how to do this because of his many years of hunting. Then he would help the elf and get on his way. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Ralof looks around, then says "Do you have any arrows?" "Yes, I do. How many do you want?" "Just a few, I don't need too many." "That'll be a few minas." Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm currently in school, and I do enjoy gaming alot. I have been roleplaying for many years, and I enjoy it so much. Whenever I get the chance to play on an RP server I take it, no matter what game it is. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Because I don't have to be at school much and my brother nearly never wants to go on the laptop I think I could spend about 10 - 15 hours a week if not more. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: I find roleplaying as a way to escape life, this is why I enjoy it so much. It's like being embodied in the person that you wish you were. I've spent alot of time roleplaying and I find it amazing! It's a great way to pass time and I sometimes loose myself in the plot. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are: I have experienced Metagaming firsthand, it is when people use real life arguments which they have had against eachother and then they judge their in-game freindship on that argument. Metagaming is also when people use OOC obtained information IC. Powergaming is also known as Godmodding, it's when people make their actions impossible to be reacted to. So say if someone types: *Chris stabs his foe through the chest, instantly killing him*. This ruins the game because it doesn't give the other player a time to react, making the game both unfair and not fun. What do you expect this server will be like?: I've seen a few videos of people playing on this server and they all seemed amazing! I expect it to be full of people who just generally love roleplaying. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I haven't really played on other Minecraft RP servers because I never found any that seemed good. However, as I mentioned before I have RPed on several different games, an example of this is Garry's Mod. I never really found any other servers either. Although I did play one for a while which my friend set up, but he then stopped playing Minecraft shortly afterwards and I couldn't find out how to host a server. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Hairy_Cow In-Character: Character Name: Ralof Salman What is your Race?: Human Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): He grew up in forests of Aegis, constantly moving. He didn't speak or see many other people, and those that he saw he kept his distance from. Because of this he isn't great at talking to people, he grew up using whatever tools he can and has good knowledge of survival. In his early years he lost his parents in bandit attacks. Although he managed to escape he could never forget what happened, he swore to himself if he ever saw a bandit he would kill them in any way possible. He stayed in the wilds untill he was 19, he spent his time using his bow and blade. Though he was never too good with these weapons he managed to make a living from wild creatures like cows and pigs. He has long slightly ginger hair, and a large beard, covering most of his face. He is 24 years old and still only has the basic knowledge of talking to people, and beacuse of this he often appears to be shy or brutal, depending on his mood. However, he still roams from town to town, forest to forest looking for his meaning in life. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?: Knowing what bandits are like, he would step in the way of them and the elf. And if he was victorious he wouldn't ask for a reward as he just aims to help. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?: He keeps his eyes away from contact with the shop keep's, he says in a quiet voice "Can I - I have some Steak," and the conversation would start from there.
