I have a lot of time on my hands and I have enjoyed playing roleplaying based games since I was young How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Any where from ten to twenty five hours a week. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying is an outlet for my creative side, allowing me to become someone else, to act out different roles. Roleplaying lets me try diffent ways of communicating with people. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. To me, both ruin any chance of an exciting roleplaying experience. Metagaming is using information you gain while not in charecter, and/or information from out side the game. Power gaming can be anything from exploiting a game mechanic or overly powerful roleplaying idea.(I.E.: Bbbbzap! "I CONTROL LIGHTNING YOUR ALL DEAD!") What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Brokenkain In-Character: Character Name: Kainous Rahl What is your Race?: Glorous human Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Kainous Grew up in a family with two older brothers and an older sister. Being the youngest of four, Kain was always getting picked on and bullied around by his older siblings, not only that but he always got the smallest portions and hand me down clothes being the youngest. Kainous had to fight everyday to be noticed by his parents but being the un-noticed wasn’t always a bad thing. Luckly his parents were quite wealthy so he was still able to attend school and understand be well educated and mannered. Kainous ended up taking a interest in one of his Fathers Mining partners. Due to his fathers high standing, Kainous was given an apprenticeship and began becoming an expert miner. He was always interested about the ores and minerals of the planet. this gave him the opportunity to do what he loved best, explore deep dark holes. Kainous' oldest brother Codrik upon completing his right of passage into adulthood declined taking over the family merchant business and went off to have grand adventures. He would return once a year and tell his younger sibling about his grand adventures. Kainous, Caspian and Kaarina would always sit wide eyed as their older brother Codrik would Describe the Grand Walled City of Alras or the Beautiful Tree City of Lorilen. He would tell them about how he thwarted troves of bandits while walking on the Dangerous kings road during the night. Kainous would go to bed with dreams of grand ventures to amazing places in the land of Aegis. One year Codrik stopped coming and Every one feared the worst. Kaarina was second oldest but was not able to take over the family business on account of her being female. Caspian upon completing his right of passage into adulthood, being the Second oldest son was next in line and gladly took over the family merchant business. He had big ventures he planed to take part of and began turning the merchant business into a full on trade and exploration company. Being the closest with Caspian, and only a year diffrence in age, Kainous joined his brothers Company and became the VP of the D’haran Company. When Aegis was attacked by the undead and ultimately destroyed, Kainous and The rest of the D’haran Company fled with the rest of the denizens of Aegis to the new land of Asulon. There Kainous and his brother Caspian set out to find their fortune and have the greatest adventures of their lives... Your characters ambitions: To become and Expert miner and help run the D’haran Company in his search for riches and fame. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Kainouis walked through the forest with his trusty pick axe over shoulder when he stumbled upon a small skirmish in front of a cottage of what appeared to be an elf being mugged by two bandits. Quickly Kainous darted to the closest tree out of view and began formulating a plan. “Think, think, think.” Kainous thought to him self. Fifteen minutes Kainous comes up with a plan to sneak up and hit the bandits over the head. Griping his trusty Pickax, Kainous looks out from behind the tree to see the elf slain along with one of the bandits and the second bandit gravely injured. Kainous taking full advantage of the weakened bandit drives the pick axe into his head and proceeds to loot all three bodies. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? “I need mining supplies and you to repair my trusty pick axe please.” Kanous would ask. “Torches, rope, ladders, oh and don’t forget the Ale!.”
