How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Around 40 hours, depending on friends and school. What do you know about Roleplaying? What is it?: I know roleplaying is taking the role of another person or character whether the person is made by you or created by someone else, you play as that person. You take on their actions as if you we're walking in their shoes and you are to act as if you are that person. I've been on different RP servers, roleplaying forums and I've roleplayed a bit on WoW before as well. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is using out of character (OOC) information in character (IC). An example would be using info received on TS to know where to trade ingame. Powergaming is roleplaying in an unfair way to another player, not giving other players the time to react. An example would be an orc meeting a gang of humans on a road. The humans are about to attack but you RP: [my orc] powerstomps! Killing all humans neerby. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect it to be a fun adventure in which my character will evolve and expand further into the world and I'll be able to meet new people and different other things. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I've never really played any other servers other than some small ones my friend's have hosted. I didn't leave them so much as they shut down the servers and I didn't have access to them anymore. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Darkhole1997 In-Character: Character Name: Vrugal What is your Race?: Orc Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Vrugal grew up in the slums of Sanhar, a small Orcish town under Krugmar rule. His father, he didn't know, nor his mother. He remembers faint memories of them, only pictures of what his brain can recall. At around the age of three he inherited the slum home and it was his to own. The slumlord, Aerog, never asked for any payment for the home and Vrugal was a quiet Orc and kept to himself in the slum. Vrugal was a smart Orc though, teaching himself how to read with the help of an elf named Seerit he finally learned the ways of a scribe, reading and writing. At the age of nine he began to read different journals written by people throughout Aegis, he was becoming smarter by every day. A woman, he wasn't sure of her name, left Vrugal a note on his door one day. "Vrugal, it is time you know the truth of your father. Your father was a menacing fellow.. a cannibal, an Undead, a betrayer. Your mother is dead, dead by the hands of your own father, Vulgrak. Vulgrak was a man who built trust with many and then crushed that relationship under the heel of his boot. Your father was a man not to trusted nor talked to, I'm sorry you had to learn this at this age, but it is time you knew." Devastated by the truth of his parents, he always thought they had abandoned them or they had died. He was confused and upset, how could his father be this type of man they say he is? Vrugal didn't want to be the son, the spawn of an Iblees worshipping, cannibal tool. His confusion led to the constant use of the different drugs the slumlord would sell, Vrugal's favorite, redstone. Vrugal continued using redstone all of his life, now at the age of 19 he is continuing to live in his slum house and using the drug redstone. His dealer, Aerog, now is dead but he continues to find ways to get his fix. As a boy Vrugal used to be a dark green shade, taking Vulgrak's features. After his many years with redstone usage his skin has changed completely, to a light red shade. He smells of piss and ale, not bothering to bathe nor clean himself. He has un-even tusks, jagged at each corner and small, dark, red eyes. Your characters ambitions: To roam the lands of Krugmar and Aegis looking for people to talk to or chat with, perhaps a relationship or a mate is what he needs. He also seeks out all of the redstone that many people hold on them. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Being an Orc, Vrugal is quite large and the redstone he took all the years of his child hood seemed to upped his growth. Vrugal wanders over to the group, his axe in hand and he looks at the bandits. He raises his axe in sign of anger and the two bandits, filled with fear, run off in the opposite direction. The elf rewards Vrugal with some redstone and a small bag of minas. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?Vrugal responds by smiling at the man, his teeth gritting together. "Ug der, lat have any redstone?" the man shakes his head no and Vrugal frowns. Vrugal turns around in the other direction, going off to other shops in hope of finding a fix for his drug crave. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am now attending highschool and are excelling in all my classes. I enjoy reading and playing in any fantasy game or book i can get my hands on. Also, I spend a majority of my time on the internet. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: about 20 hours a week, mostly on Sunday through Wednesday. What do you know about Roleplaying? What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on the Golden Pvp server. But I had realized that the community in the server was not good and I had decided to transfer to a new server. In-Character: Karactus Harvensten Character Name: Karactus Harvensten What is your Race?: Dwarf Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): When Karactus was first born everything in his life appearred normal. But as he aged his family began to notice that he was begining to master the art of magic. Because this had never happened before the dwarves banned together using all their combined skills to create armor to prevent Karactus's use of magic, which were bracers. So Karactus aged normally past that point doing normal dwarven activities such as mining and sword fighting but when he reached his adulthood he was able to perform magic even though he had the bracers on. The dwarves became scared of Karactus's power and abnormality and removed him from the Dwarven society. He had tried to stay but he was forced to leave by his father which had struck him in the eye causing blindness in his right eye and forcing him to leave. Today Karactus roams the lands looking for someone that will accept him for his dwarven magical abilities. Karactus is the height of a normal male dwarf and has a black hair and beard. His left eye is blinded and he always wears his magical bracers(as a reminder of his past) along with some basic dwarven armour given to him by his mother when he was forced to leave. Karactus first would hide checking his surroundings. He would Yell at the Bandits to leave peacefully. If they were to use force Karactus would Say "Die you land walker!" then procede to use whatever is neccesary to remove the bandits. If they were to leave or were removed Karactus would approach the Elf and say "Hey you need any help". If the elf didn't or did ask for help Karactus would assist the Elf in any means possible Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. He was created by dwarves to perform tasks such as mine and clean with magical capability through magitech. But one day while mining he was hit by a rock and began a malfunction. This malfuntion was thought and feeling. The dwarves became scared of the potential of this robot and removed him from their society. Today this robot is trying to aid anyone he can in hopes of finding a friend or ally to accompany him. Your characters ambitions: to become a wanted in a group or society.
