      Slic3man

Actually, It brings them back to you even more, telling you to read twice the amount.

  4. Out-Of-Character: Minecraft Account Name: zomorocks26 is my Minecraft account name, as well as my forum-registered name. Did you attend minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?: Unfortunately, I could not make it to MineCon. No, I did not sign up. How old are you?: I am 14 years old, but age is simply a number. Maturity is another factor. Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Pacific Standard Time/United States Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:Yes, I do. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I’ve always loved games, especially computer games. Additionally, I have a passion for Role-Play – and any kind of it. Whether it be acting, or even charades, I thoroughly enjoy engaging in the role I choose. Aside from games, I love playing and listening to classical music. (Yes, I really just said that.) How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I can be on the server quite often, at least an hour a day on weekdays, and on weekends, 3-4 hours, if not more. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying is adopting a role, and acting it out in a appropriate manner. By “appropriate manner” I mean making sense. You can’t have a dwarf fly in from outer space. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is when a character uses external ideas, or “facts” to his or her advantage. For example, Gwandorh, the village woodcutter, comes across an orc, a creature he has never encountered before, but yet somehow he knows the appropriate combat moves to slay one. Powergaming is “mastering” aspects of the game, also, to give yourself an advantage, whether it be “fair” or not. Powergaming can affect role-play games because often times, the player will have no challenges to overcome, depriving the player from the actual role-play itself. What do you expect this server will be like?:I expect this server to be the best of the best. It holds a very active and professional community, even with a whitelist, which is truly amazing. This could only be possible if players enjoy playing on the server. Therefore, I deem this server as excellent. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on several terrible servers in the past; One of them being Lost-Craft. The staff was not helpful, buildings were ugly, there was no role-playing, and players did not work together. Another server I played on was ImagineCraft. It was a nice server, but I felt as if I could get a better experience elsewhere. (By elsewhere I mean here :D) Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes. How did you hear about us?: I’ve noticed this server on minestatus a few times, and I would’ve registered sooner, but I feared I wouldn’t be suited for this server, because at the time, I was still learning some basic building techniques, and I wasn’t ready for serious role-play. Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you? I have voted. I believe I was number 1,092. I also voted a second time, however I do not remember the number. Somewhere around 1,250ish. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?:My account name is registered as zomorocks26, however my display name is Zomo. In-Character: Character Name: Kyotis. It is 100% original, and not from any movies, books, or plays. (At least I am fairly sure of that.) What is your Race?: I would like to be a Human. Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): On a bittersweet autumn day, Kyotis was born into the peaceful village of Arastin. His father was the village miner, and his mother was the village’s farmer. Kyotis idolized his parents. They gave him advice, and told him to do what he believed in. Kyotis became fascinated with weaponry when he turned nine years old. At the age of ten, he became the Blacksmith’s apprentice. When he turned twelve, he had made his shining silver dagger – encrusted with gleaming diamonds – his masterpiece. The Blacksmith had died later that year, leaving Kyotis as the main Blacksmith. Life in Arastin was perfect, jobs were organized, the village had enough money to pay taxes back to the kingdom, and have leftover to arrange events. An abundance of raw materials were obtained and sold at the local shops for profit. Buildings were always popping up, and Kyotis was greatly influenced by Arastin’s architects. Arastin was the ideal village to be in, holding fifty families. Years later, tensions rose. Workers weren’t working hard enough. The village began to lose money, hope, and the will to earn what they wanted. There was no desire to help the community as a whole. Kyotis was worried about his parents; they had been arguing lately about how to pay off the taxes. Arastin and its residents had become bankrupt. On one winter day, the King had ordered Arastin to shut down and be raided – the village hadn’t paid its taxes in over five months. Wealthy merchants and loyalists of the King took everything. Luckily, no one had found Kyotis’s prized silver dagger, but he was traumatized from the incident. Ever since that day, Kyotis despised the wealthy, and their greed. He would never forget, and would seek vengeance. Kyotis wiped away tears as his mother and father left. They traveled on foot for days, and weeks. One night, trouble broke out between his parents. His father had been drinking, and his temper had risen from the harsh conditions. “Gardinoff, can we take a rest?” Kyotis’s mother said, “My legs are sore from our journey.” Kyotis’s father, Gardinoff, grunted. “No, you women are like weak men. If you want a rest, you can stay behind and be eaten by animals, Marhale.” Gardinoff laughed at his own joke. Marhale, Kyotis’s mother, was offended by her husband’s sexism. “I may be your soul mate, but you cannot treat me like that.” Gardinoff reacted violently. He raised his sword and pierced Marhale through the heart, and spit. He turned to Kyotis and said, “You never saw this. Any of it.” Kyotis’s face grew hot, almost like a fire was burning inside of him. “I saw everything. Your not my father, you crook.” With that said, Kyotis slashed the side of his Gardinoff’s cheek, then reached back and struck him through the heart. Kyotis looked at his parents’ bodies, in the dirt of such a beautiful forest. He was now a murderer. He ran. Never stopped, until he reached the village of Zaria, and he wept. For his mother, and the regrets he had about his life. None of this would have happened, unless the King hadn’t ordered Arastin to be raided, and rich people felt the need to take from those who had less than them. Kyotis raged and stood up and examined himself. His clothing was worn and tattered, and his features were rugged and manly. Kyotis traveled to the kingdom of which Arastin belonged to. He strolled towards a merchant, and saw that he was wearing his father’s coat. “Give me the coat, and you won’t get hurt,” Kyotis warned, his silver dagger stretched out to the merchant’s neck. Reluctantly, the merchant handed it over, and muttered to himself. Later that day, Kyotis found himself with a rather large bounty on his head, and it kept increasing. On his way to find a home in the wilderness, he spotted an elf, shivering in the cold, sheltered underneath a tree. Kyotis gave him his father’s jacket off his own back, and left without a word. “Thank’ee kind sir,” the elf replied. Kyotis rarely spoke, but when he did, he had wise things to say. He paused, looked back at the elf and whispered, “Go back home. Run, don’t walk. Even for a step. For if you do walk, you will cease to run again.” Before the elf could reply, Kyotis had disappeared. He was now seventeen years old, and ready to take on the world, as a murderer, stealer of the rich, and servant of the poor. Your characters ambitions: Kyotis’s ambitions include rebuilding the grieve-stricken ruins of his former village, seeking vengeance against the wealthy. And repaying his debt to society from murdering his father. Kyotis also wishes to become a master architect, and swordsman. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Kyotis walks cautiously around a tree, spots the bandits, and whips around. “You dare steal from those who have less than you? You filthy scum, ungrateful beings.” The bandits are about to attack, but Kyotis embeds his dagger into the first bandit’s skull, them pulls it out and hurls it at the second bandit, with a lethal attack to the neck. He retrieves the dagger, give the elf a handful of minas and says, “Don’t let anyone push you around. You are in charge of your own well being.” Kyotis walks away, mysteriously. Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Kyotis examines the shop owner, without the shop owner realizing it. He seems to be of good character. “Building materials.” The shop owner scuttles over to his chest. “Will stone be of any value to you. I’ll give you a load for 200 minas.” “Greatly appreciated.” Kyotis willingly hands over the money, and gratefully heads off with his much-needed stone. Those were the only words he had spoken that day.
