  1. It was a long day in the Inn. I laughed and joked around, when this women entered. I recognized her, from the time we raided Al'Khazar whilst risking the miasma for arms and weapons. Selina Daemons, Ascended we met while checking the Al'Khazar keep. She talked with the folks, and then asked to find Gaius's grave. I nod, and lead her to the Crypt of the Lost Kings, were we unofficially buried Gaius. She thanked me and stood inside the cypt. I thanked her for her blessings, no matter that Gaius was dead. In the end, Gaius kept his word somewhat to Selina, Gaius lead us against the Undead, and placed the stepping stones for us to trounce over them, inspiring champions like Abeam, Segari, and Maur. His will is now inherited by our Hochmeister, and for that we have him to thank.
  2. Joma, 27th of the Second Seed, 14 I walk in the snowy night, my cloak flying in the winds. The air is cold, the fires are lit, and the people are at home, sleeping and being with their families. I walk to the square, and I see the Sarients milling around, they brave the cold and stand here with me, awaiting my orders. Even Maur, a orc who yearns for the deserts, puts on a brave front and stands grumpily next to Tesawa, who seems to be busy sharpening his diamond sword. A smirk crawls upon my face. While I have sworn to chastity, this is my family. "Loyal sarient, you give me your swords, you give me your shields, but now I want you to lend me your ears!" I shout across the square, the silence of the night supporting the only sound in the region, the winds carrying my words into the City. "We are gathered here to march against Rennatus for the crimes they have committed to our beloved Realm! It was a blood debt that was supposed to be paid in Aegis! We have suffered, we have been harassed, we have been bullied, by our neighboring nation and hated enemy known as Rennatus! Ever since its forming, it has always seeked to destroy us. It was Gaius's last wish, that all nations come together to face Iblees once and for all in the Nether, and set aside any petty differences and arguments. We did as he asked, we honored Gaius's spirit, may the late Hochmeister rest his soul. But when they DARE think they can bully our citizens, then they DARE think they can harass our Sarients and jeer at him, and these people are not punished, but rewarded in high positions in the Rennatus government!? No! Lord Reynard has asked for peace and time. Time has been given. 12 years, since we arrived in Asulon, 5 years since Lord Reynard became official regent. He has been the High Chancellor for more than 20 years now, and only now, with war looming ahead, does he ask for peace? Why has he not done anything before that? He has a silver tongue, he could have used it to stop all of this? WHERE IS HE NOW, WHEN WE AGREED TO HELP HIM STORM AL'KHAZAR, AND MAKE HIM KING OF OREN? He is just as bad as all the corrupt ministers that backstabbed us from the Treaty of Birumvate! Never keeps their promise, never pays his debt! We are the Teutonic Order. We always punish those who have wronged us." He sweeps his cloak, flashing the black cross on it, and the other Sarient roar in approval, banging their shields with their swords, creating a din in the middle of the square. "Sarients! We march at dawn. Tesawa! Get the finest winged helms you have crafted, and distribute them to all the members. Get Valgen to help you. Maur, you and Gustav fetch and round up the Sarients living in New Sorovitz and Dovasjkr, we gather here in Hanseti to meet our allies." I turn around, and head back to the Keep, and all I can hear from the square is "For the Realm! For Hanseti! For the Order! For Gaius! For Hochmeister Samuel! For the Teutonic Order!" I grin and claps my winged helm on, ready to meet the Sarients by tomorrow morn.
  3. ((Sure Ninja, and you can always edit your posts to the top :D))
  4. ((I was going to ask someone to top this story with how you died, but only Lily was there I think))
  5. I carried the coffin with the peaceful Horus, up the to grave, while Lysle fetched his spade and dug a small 3 feet hole in the earth for the coffin. He then placed the axe inside the coffin, positioned so Horus held it on his chest. The position of a guardian. He definitely deserved that title, after all he's done for the Realm. I gave a small note to Lysle, and he took a marble plaque and chiseled it on the black stone grave I placed for him. I clutch my heart, and say little to the tombstone. What more is there to say, and by the man who killed him? I wonder what Jorgen, Syblix, and Renzbro will do now Horus is not there to lead them... I walk away from the grave after giving Lysle the funeral fee. I stare blankly at the snow falling from the sky. Flashes of axes, blood spilling from Horus's head and neck. Who knew the human body had such a large capacity for blood? Horus's head dyeing the white snow rose red... I probably will never be rid of this memory for as long as I live...
  6. ((Happy to help, I've been wanting to write some ingame stories for a while now.))
  7. I dragged the body through the snow, and reached Hanseti. I had Dagwood bandage my wound, but it hurt as nether lava being poured on me. I placed the body in a empty chest in my home, and draped the Teutonic Order flag on his body, to hide the wounds I inflicted so I need not be reminded how he died. I met Lysle Rigger, and arranged a funeral for Horus. He came to the home, and we carried the coffin to the graveyard by Memorial Hill. We went down the stairs, into a crypt, and there Lysle begin treating Horus's lifelss body to some herbs and aromatic oils. I try not to gag, but when Lysle cuts open his stomach and intestines, I cant help but retch by the side. It was bad enough to see just a small bit when I sliced the body with my axe, but having it displayed for the entire world to view it....I couldn't take it. But I caused this, so I should be with Horus to the end. I held Horus's limp body up for Lysle to apply treatment on him. He sewed and cleaned the wounds, painted the face, and wiped it down of sweat and grim. If I didn't know better, Horus was just sleeping, but had sunken eyes. I remembered I picked up the axe Horus had, and decided it would be a good idea to bury it with him, as to help him cross the River of Caeu and challenge Fagari, to be admitted into the Halls of Lighthalzen, the same with Abeam, Gaius, Segari.
  8. The death of Horus Harthorn Snowy, the ground was. We faced off. Me and Horus. It was during one of my rounds, inspecting and telling Horus a few issues regarding New Sorovitz. Nothing serious. But then, he came. We stared at each other. My stormy grey eyes against his odd magical purple eyes. I wore a iron chest plate with a cross on the plate, and he summoned a spectral dark suit of armor. As black as night. I kept thinking how did this happen... Horus collapsed during the inspection tour. I was worried about him when he started explaining something about his "other" side. I was confused. I knew Horus for some 20 years, but admittedly rarely met with him other than for business and issues. Never did any other Sarient tell me about this supposed "second being" that lived within Horus. His eyes turned from grey to purple, and he took on a cold condescending tone. He laughed and asked me questions. I couldn't risk killing him, I might kill Horus if that was the case. Better to play along. He wanted information, for the Enderman. I have no idea what the nether is he talking about. A enderman officer living within Horus? Thats just insanity. He asked me questions about the realm, failure to do so would result in my death. I made a counteroffer. If I answer all the questions, this thing would have to free Horus, but if I fail, he can do what he pleases with me. He laughed and sneered at me, but accepted the deal. Thats alright, I know everything about the realm. The questions were strange and precise, one was what was the thickness of the floorboard that Horus made in the theater. He was toying with me, and I knew that I wouldn't stand a chance if I let him be in power of the questions. I decided a risky move, to argue back that his logic was wrong, and that Horus did not know what he was doing. The "other" side became enraged. We were fighting back and forth in a tug-of-war-of-knowledge, until Rylen showed up. That was when it went downhill. The "other" Horus smiled coldly, with a look of amusement in his eyes. ****, he was gonna prey on Rylen, who knew nothing about the realm save for some unknown ruins. I took over, and beat "Other Horus" in his questionnaires. I won. We're going home. I would get my friend back. "No. I wont let you take him back" The other Horus hissed, purple gas emitting from his throat. **** just got real. He finally cracked, knowing it was futile to beat me in knowledge. He gave me a choice. Either let Rylen be murdered in front of my eyes, or I have to kill him, and Horus along with the body. I made a third option, I sent Rylen to get for help, and I stopped the "Other Horus" trying to chase him. That's how it happened it seems. Now I'm faced with two choices. Either I let Horus kill me, and hopefully the ender within him would somehow go away, or I can kill him, save my skin, and prevent any further casualties. What a pain in the neck. I grip my stone axe. I came to New Sorovitz, expecting to see some lovely houses, and take a look at this supposed Cider Farm Horus was developing. Luckily I made it a point to wear armor when traveling. The Ender Horus wielded some magical axe, it looked pretty much like a diamond axe, but with a glowy aura and spectral feel to it. I highly doubt I could beat him. But Ender Horus only wore a black chest plate, and had the rest of his body exposed. That is my chance. Ender Horus is still a mortal. If I loop off his head or slice his neck, he would collapse and die. I just pray to Rohkeus to give me strength and courage to do this. We circled each other for a good 3 minutes now, snow falling, it was screwing u my vision. He made the first one. Kicking up a bunch of snow, Ender Horus charged at me. I made a side step, and slashed him in the back. He growled like a feral beast, but with purple gas emitting from his throat. We clashed. Axe to axe. My stone axe was no match for his diamond. It was chipping away while his was at good durability. I had one trick up my sleeve, the same trick I used to kill Vardak the minion. I stood still in the snow, and let Horus charge at me. As expected, he was in blood rage. He aimed for my stomache, but at the last minute, I sidestepped. I was pierced with the tip of tha axe near my left kidney. I grunted, in pain. But the pain gave me strength, and I gripped the axe still in me, and brought mine down on his head. It rolled on the snow, staining the beautiful white with rose red colours. The purple eyes became a sunken grey socket, and Horus's headless body collapsed to the ground. Rylen came by, with his head in his panties, asking if I was okay, and amazed at how I managed to kill something so strong. I felt empty. I felt like ****. Why? I murdered my own friend.
  9. "Would anyone like to say their farewells to Ben Fawkes?" Lysle Riggers asked the small crowd. A enthusiastic butcher called out, and stepped next to the tombstone made of stone slabs and a marble plaque. His apron was dirty, and he had a butcher's knife hanging from his belt. Obviously not dressed for a funeral, but I guess no one really minded. "Khali-Shi. Right. Sorry. Haven't gotten used to this religion thing yet", the butcher murmured, embarrassed. "Any others?" I step up. Me and Ben, we didn't know each other very well. We were just in the same line of business, and got together for a chat sometimes. Exhaling, my hot breathe producing a small white cloud against the backdrop of the grey scenery. I speak. "I just wanna say, I hope you find some halfling cider wherever you are, Ben" Sangreal smiles continuously at all the kind, half hearted comments. I wonder how he feels, getting his other soul dying on him. He once told me that he(Sangreal) existed to protect Ben. What is there left for him now? We throw some offerings, to which Sangreal kept in a small earthen jar, that was buried in place of the body, seeing as Sangreal still lived. When the ceremony was over, dawn had arisen. Time to get back to work I suppose. (This was told from a person's narrative point of view. It may or may not be correct information. But dont meta anyways.)
  10. It was a snowy night as usual in Hanseti, as almost every other day. I was sitting in my house, polishing my diamonds, when I saw a troupe of people trudge in. One of them had dark blue skin. Ben Fawkes, I knew him. I issued his passpourt. The other two I dont know, but they wore similar clothings. Dutiful as always, I locked away my diamonds, and asked for their names and business politely. Lysle Rigger and Lily Aladiir. Just some folks looking for work. We entered Ben's home. Sangreal, whom I met before as well, declared that Ben has died in a stroke, while he barely survived. Another death of a body with two souls, was Kincaid just like him when he died? I dont know this whole twin soul business. But Ben was someone I met in Aegis, and we chanced upon meeting in Asulon. I offered to bury him, but Lysle said he would work as the gravekeeper, and so I allowed him to do his job. The snow stopped falling for tonight. We gathered around the grave, murmuring, until Lysle came out of his shack with some tools, and a sombre expression. Using a small hammer and chisel, Lysle engraved the words Sangreal requested on a small marble plaque. "Here lies Ben Fawkes. Dead Again" I want to ask what does it mean, but I think that I would only get more questions than answers from Sangreal. So I just drop it, and respectfully keep my silence. Lysle Rigger asked beforehand at Sangreal, confirming that Ben followed a obscure religion known as Ome'chan. Something I shoudldn't be too concerned about, I hardly knew the dark elf, save for some dinner and wine, maybe a chat here and there. I listened on, my mind drifting elsewhere. What could have possibly happened to Ben? The funeral service goes on...
  11. Opposing Faction: Hanseti and Allies Defending Faction: Renatus Name of the battle: The Battle of the Boot Location: must be the specific region/biome you wish to conquer: Das Boot Time, (at least 5 days warning): Monday, February 20, 8 o’clock EST Terms: No Golden Apples Items are not returned No potions Best armor and weapons Rewards: region/biome swaps ownership: The Das_Boot Region RP: The Teutonic Order and Renatus have always had a tumultuous relationship. Hanseti has always felt that they were wronged when Oren was unjustly taken from them. Their former Hochmeister, Gaius Marius, was named king of Oren after Enor Sheffield stepped down. The Phoenix Revolution, upset at Gaius for his multiple strikes at Al’Khazar, decided to attempt to overthrow the newly crowned king. Gaius, not wishing to incite conflict, benevolently decided to gift the western half of Oren to the young revolutionaries. Years later, after the death of Gaius, Samuel Bealcrest became the new Hochmeister. The newly christened Renatus took this temporary moment of weakness from the Order as a time to strike. They attacked and attempted to sack Konigsberg twice whilst the Sariants grieved Gaius’s death. If not for the intervention of the great Morgroka and the UAC, Renatus most likely would have succeeded in destroying Hanseti. The conflict then took a temporary hiatus as Aegis fell to the Undead and the two nations moved to Asulon. As the nations quickly became acclimated to their new homes in Asulon, the conflicts mirrored the progression. Skirmishes dominated the border of Renatus and Hanseti. The two nations both made multiple strikes at each others capital cities, though neither nation could seem to find the upper hand. The conflict appeared to be coming to a stand still. Throughout this time, Renatus was lead by Eze’Kial Tarus. A major shift in the conflict occurred when Tarus stepped down from the throne and Reynard Lycian took his place. Reynard promised massive reforms to the nation. He decided to reform the military force of Renatus, which at the time, had a less than stellar reputation. He also decided to rename Renatus to the Imperial Nation of Renatus. Samuel watched Renatus attempt to change their ways. He waited for weeks on end to see any change in this new Empire. He saw none. During this time, all Samuel could think of was the attacks on Konigsberg so many years ago. He thought of the sight of the fields burning and the citizens fleeing in terror. Samuel decided that he would never allow this to happen again. He would never allow Renatus to sneak up on his nation and his people again. So, Samuel devised a plan. He commissioned his engineers to prepare siege equipment, he had his smiths churn out armor at a ludicrous pace. He was preparing for war. Samuel knew that the only way he could prevent his people from suffering again was to make the first strike at Renatus, so that is what he would do. Samuel had watched as Renatus’s actions had gone without consequence. This would happen no more. Samuel was prepared to bring the consequences that he felt Renatus’s actions warranted. He thought back to something his friend Gaius had said before he died. “The Teutonic Order never forgives. The Teutonic Order never forgets.”
  12. Chapter VI: Deber Eldi was a renowned fighter and champion of his town located between the icy rivers and the Glassmere forest, called Ashtan. He served as a vanguard general in the army, winning the Ashtan many victories that brought them much glory. However the city of Cyrene saw the lush plains of Wolf Edge that bordered Ashtan, and decided it would make a good target for conquest. The general of Ashtan was leading his troops to fend off some savage tribes, when he got a runner from Ashtan, saying the city has fallen. Eldi cried in grief, as he had a wife called Lilia, whom he loved dearly, was within Ashtan’s walls. The runner also said that if Eldi choose to fight for Ashtan and attempt to retake the city, they would execute his wife. The general saw his distress, and consoled him, saying he would send a assassin into the city to rescue Lilia while they marched back to take back their city. When the army reached the walls of Ashtan, the commander of Cyrene stood upon its walls, and shouted “Eldi! Lay down y our arms, or your dear wife Lilia will be thrown from this very wall!” The general and Eldi was shocked and confused, but the commander of Cyrene continued “And if you even think you can save her, you might end up like that assassin you sent to ‘save’ her!” Saying that, the commander tossed the severed head of the assassin towards Eldi. Eldi was close to laying down his arms, but it was when the people of Ashtan heard the Eldi and the army has arrived to save them, and began to chant his name. “ELDI! ELDI! ELDI! ELDI!” The general placed a hand on Eldi’s shoulders, and said “Look Eldi, the people of Ashtan depend on you to free them. It is your duty to serve Ashtan and defend her, no matter the cost.” Eldi gazed upon the walls, and saw Lilia smilling at him sadly at him, but nodding her head. Eldi understood. He raised his two handed zweihander and shouted to the invaders “I will free Ashtan and its people from you Cyrene louts!”. The commander nodded and pushed Lilia down the wall. Lilia did not survive the drop, and was splattered on the ground like bug. Eldi roared, a roar so powerful it shook the mountains and striked terror in the Cyrene ranks. He barged into the city and like a berserker, slew over 200 men guarding the walls. The Ashtan army easily reoccupied Ashtan. When the battle was over, the people of Ashtan made a pyre, and burned the corpse of Lilia. Eldi was overcame with grief, and threw his body into the pyre. The people tried to save him, but the General stopped them and said “He did what he was asked to do, he served Ashtan honourably and should be allowed to be reunited with the women he loved as much as life itself.” The people watched in awe as the pyre burned golden flames, and saw Eldi rise to the skies with Lilia in hand, both heading towards Lighthalzen to join Honra in his hall.
  13. Chapter V: Mort Fagari, the Keeper of Niflheim, the River of the Fallen. When Honra’s creation, the Velsigne’s mortal life has expired, he poured all his grief into a single teardrop, and let it splash onto the ground. That single teardrop formed Fagari, Keeper of the Damned. Fagari consoled Honra, and told him that he can ascend his beloved creations to Lighthalzen if they manage to pass the Trials of the Maker in Niflheim. Every soul who has passed will wait by the the River of Caeu, and Fagari will meet them. To allow only the strongest, smartest, and bravest to ascend into Lighthalzen, Fagari will attempt to beat each soul in their strongest trait they have aquired in their mortal life. Those who beat Fagari will be allowed to cross the Bridge of Benir. Those who could not defeat Fagari will be sent to walk along the Riverbanks of Caeu, until they reach the Wheel of Rebirth. But those who commit evil and atrocities for no rhyme or reason will be sentenced to swim in the River of Caeu, where all regrets, pain, and disappointment of each soul who could not beat Fagari will torment them for all of eternity until Ragnarok. Her companion is Ananta, the Endless.
