    I feel a little ignorant, but are there any mods allowed on the server? Like dynamic lighting or a minimap etc?

      Rei's minimap is allowed. I don't believe there's a rule againts dynamic lighting but you better ask to be certain. Any other mods that could make your game easier to play than others (target lock ons, extra HUDs, ore finders, flymods etc. is perma-bannable. DONT do it. Always ask first. Again, Rei's minimap is fine.
