You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Kalion abrasively enters the tent, raising a quirky brow the lady that sat before him. At her behest he lowered himself into the chair cautiously while taking a mental note of his surroundings. He was careful to see if there were any immediate weapons in her vicinity to be prepared at a moments notice. Perhaps it really was the lady his mother had sent him for, and he could lower his guard. He released a brief sigh and took off the bracers that laid heavy on his wrists. "I.. am Kalion. But you must already know this." The hag gave out a coarse chuckle, proceeding to nod and reach for her cup of tea. "Yes, yes. Like I said, I was expecting you." A light breeze from outside the tent gusted in, bringing with it the awful scent that was embedded in the town. "I shan't waste your time then, miss." Kalion replied firmly. "My mother has sent me to retrieve our family tome." The old lady shifted, for what seemed like an eternity to Kalion, to pull out a large book from a chest behind her. A heap of dust fell from the tome as she moved it to her lap. On the front of the book, a Tarus crest laid in the center. Talion's gaze shifted down for the book, and he immediately extended his hand. His family had been after this for what seemed like centuries - only for it to lay in front of him like this.
