I am online just about all day, every day. Sunday is the only day that I am usually away from the laptop and busy with family and friends.

Experience

Since my time on LotC I have had the great privilege to serve on the Guide Team, the Application Team, and the Media Team. All of which I left voluntarily due to irl things I needed to attend to. I am an Admin for a friend’s RP server and I help him with basic duties of maintenance and enforcing the rules while keeping the server up to par. I have also been a Mod for a PvP Server, but that was more than a year ago and I have no idea if the server is still going or not. I am a chill guy and can have a good time, but I am very serious when I am at work. I believe I am a natural leader and think being a Forum Moderator would fit me perfectly. As for forums i'll talk more about that in the next section.

Previous Forums

Previously, I have been a moderator for a PvP server and I am currently running an Airsoft forum. In saying this, I think LotC would be a great place for me to keep my eyes out for ways to improve forums and grow in my knowledge of them. I enjoy this community and believe I can provide good leadership and help to those who need it. I also have had a lot of experience with ip board and already know how to navigate it.

Why I should be a FM

When I first joined Lord of the Craft back in April of 2012 I had no idea what a great community I had just entered. There are a lot of people on this server who deserve a lot of credit and I want to volunteer my time to show my appreciation to the great staff. Plus out of all the staff position I wanted to be a Forum Moderator the most, weird I know.

I have always been a helpful person and try to encourage and provide my knowledge of the server to those who need it. I have helped multiple people with their applications to the server and every one of them has got accepted. When I say multiple I mean around 4-5 people so far and of course more to come! Being a leader in many things outside of LotC I have a natural inclination to help and provide my expertise to anyone who may be in need.

I believe that I have been giving it my all to provide better rp for LotCers, to make it fun and enjoyable. Now I think I should step it up! I think I am very mature both ICly and OOCly. The time has come for me to do my part and I want to volunteer to help this community to the best of my ability. Let’s make Lord of the Craft a better experience for all. Please consider me for this position. In closing I give my word that I will try my hardest to do this job with a clear mind and honest decisions.

Akvar turns to Fili and chuckles at his remark. "Aye, ah'll get roight te' work on gettin' da Legion fulleh equipped and our vaults full once mur'."

Akvar Ireheart stands before the glowing fire of the furnace as he slams his smithing hammer down onto the the carbarum battleaxe laying on the anvil. Each strike of the hammer slowly molds the battleaxe to his liking. As Akvar works he reflects back on the years of experience he has now gained while spending countless hours, days, and months learning the trade of blacksmithing. He had now reached the point at which one could only see from the quality of his work that he was one of the greatest smiths Athera had ever seen. Finishing his shaping of the battleaxe he turned around and thrust it into the water and watched the steam rise up. Smiling now at his great work he marveled at its beauty and took the time to swing the battleaxe back and forth to check that the weight was distributed properly. “Anotha’ foine piece ov’ weaponreh indeed.” He looks the weapon up and down one last time before setting over on his workbench to finish it up. Taking a deep breath in he looks down to his hands as he turns his palms toward him then back over, then looks back into the roaring fire. “Ah t’ink it beh toime ah set te’ work on mah foinest weapon yet.”

[so I basically just wanted to write a short little RP post for my character as I have finally reached the rank of Aengulic Blacksmith. I felt it only necessary as it’s probably one of the most laborious and time consuming professions to rank up apart from Enchanting. Of course everyone will have their own opinion on which is the hardest. Anyway, apart from Dizzy I believe I am the second person on the server to reach this achievement (who isn't either banned or lost they're profession due to cheating) so I want to thank all those who RPly provided me with the materials to get here. Thank you guys, because you made it possible.]

Since I met Man with the Dwarves we have worked together on many occasions and i've enjoyed each experience. He keeps things fun, but also knows when to stay on track and get things done. He also know quite a lot about the server, the lore, player base, etc. It'd really only make sense for him to be a member of the Application Team as he holds all the qualities necessary. As a past member of the AT I can vouch that he would be the perfect candidate. +1

Knight Captain, Noble Ser Artikus Silverblade the Fierce stands before the Knights and Squires in front of him. Great Ser Thomas Delaney and Great Ser Mizu Silverblade stand on either side of him as Artikus addresses the men. After a few moments of scanning through the ranks he nods and begins to speak.

"My brothers, Knights of the Red Dragon, protectors of freedom, I stand before you today humbled by the dedication and courage you have displayed by showing up here today. You are the true heroes of humanity, the unsung few, the keepers of chivalry. It is because of solid men like you that the evils of this world have not already consumed us and whipped us out of existence. When the day seems lost and when others fear the great power of the evil that drives them back, the Knights of the Red Dragon are the men who stand strong and courageous to fight until death, to uphold our code of chivalry and to give our every last breath to protect those we love. The Undead have plagued this land for far too long and now their time is up. Our families and the people of this land do not deserve to live in fear of such evil. I swear on my very last breath that I will not leave the battlefield until that menace is driven from these lands. I ask you brothers to stand with me, to ride onto the battlefield, and to destroy what remains of the Undead scum. As Artikus finishes his speech the men erupt in a loud rally cry as they unsheathe their weapons and thrust them into the air. With that Artikus nods to his two Lieutenants and they too nod back before joining the other Knights in the rally cry.

-All Knights are to fill out the Knight’s Census as soon as possible.

-The Order of the Red Dragon is seeking very skilled horse breeders, miners, chefs, and merchants to provide the Knights with their stock.

-Thomas Delaney, Mizu Silverblade, and Alexander Valois have been made Knight Lieutenants of the Order of the Red Dragon.

-After the fall of Renatus, the Order of the Red Dragon has now become an independent Order with no ties to any nation.

There are two ways to join the ranks of the Knights of Renatus. The most common and well known way being squiring, the other being granted knighthood by the King himself and the King alone.

A child, between the ages of 8-16 may be taken under the wing of a knight and squired, being taught everything from philosophy, etiquette, combat and everything it takes to become the perfect knight. The squire, in return, is expected to perform many tasks in service to their knight, things such as armor and weapon maintenance, horse care, cleaning knight’s sleeping quarters, along with almost anything else their knights require.

It is far easier for a noble child to be squired, than a commoner, however many knights have come from common families. To apply to become a squire, fill out the form below and submit it to the Knight’s Citadel in Petrus.
