  1. Vakgar roars to the sound of the horn, and comes out of his blarg, with armor on and axe at his shoulder. His hate for Elves kicks in. "FLAT DEM ALBAI!" he shouts as Pok gives him a headbutt.
  2. That seems a very good idea. But what do you mean by "emotional pain?" Give a definition of your meaning in this topic please.
  3. Hey, I was browsing the Orc roleplay forums and found somewhere that the Shaman race is going. Even if this still isn't planned, I have two race ideas in replacement, or just to add. Troll The Troll would be a Orc standing about 11 feet tall. Trolls cannot build, they live in caves where they store food and the left overs of their enemies. They are also very dumb, so you cant have a huge power-gaming Troll decimating humans or smaller Orcs in battle, you need to use the facts that Trolls aren't smart and can't win a fight just like that. Trolls are also very strong, so they usually can't be held down or anything like that. Cave-Orc(Not very sure what to call it): So Cave Orc's, I don't really have the name down, so be sure to leave suggestions. Cave Orc's would be like the Orcs of Moria in Lord of The Rings, afraid of sunlight and dwell in large underground tunnels. They would be about 6 feet tall or a bit more, just a bit bigger then a tall human, and they have little nimble hands. This makes them use short-swords, bows, knives, or small throwing axes as weapons. Give me your thoughts on these sub-races.
  4. Yea, maybe clans that get out of the Rex's favor / the Rex enemies them, they should be able to try and invade the War Uzg, but the Rex would call on all other clans to kill the clan, so it would be pretty hard.
  5. Out-Of-Character Minecraft Account Name: zahack How old are you?: 16 Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Mountain Time (US and Canada) / Canada Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Indeed I do. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I enjoy sports and games such as minecraft. My favorite food is popcorn and I love Roleplay. My favorite movie/book series is Lord of The Rings. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: After hearing what a great server this was from my friend, probably I can be on each day. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: When you Roleplay you become a different character and you take on a new life. Example: If your Roleplay character can't read very good, you reflect on that, even if you read good IRL. RP Character reading: "Wut arr yu duing" Normal reading: "What are you doing??" What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: As a kid, I would always pretend to be a soldier and play in my backyard. (haha) and I have joined many RP servers when my friend told me about Lord of The Craft. I would pretend to be a dog when I was little also and I can do different voices/type different tongues pretty good. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is the act of using OOC information to help you in RP. Example: [OOC]blah: Hey there is a base at these coords: *You travel there* [RP] Finally, I have found these ruins after years of travel with no maps or anything. See how instead of finding it legit the guy just got coords from OOC chat and used that to his advantage in RP? In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming is the act of doing RP without giving a person the chance to react. Example: 1) Bob swings his sword, killing Rob with one clean blow. The correct term would be: 2) Bob ATTEMPTS to kill Rob with his sword. As you can see, in Example 1, it gives Rob no chance to react while in Example 2, Rob can choose to accept being killed by the sword or to dodge or block the blow. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect it to be a fun RP experience with a huge community (something other RP servers lack) to RP with and awesome builds. (My friend showed me some screenshots of the Dwarf kingdom.) What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Well, the server I used to play on mainly died because of no donation money and several RP servers I tried lacked players, making it not a very fun experience. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have. Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: You bet! How did you hear about us? Did someone refer you?: Yes, my friend (IGN:blob9000 RP Name:Xalek_Maru) told me about this server since he knew I liked RP and LOTR. Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: Here: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/54921-orc-appzahacks-1st-application/ (You will see I changed what he said to when he denied my app.) In-Character: Character Name: Vakgar What Race are you?: Orc What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Nomad Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Vakgar was born in War Uzg, and took the appearance of a strong Orc. At birth, Vagkar's father, Morgul, was surprised to see that Vakgar was born with the rare blood-red eyes, as were the rest of the Orcs that were there. This is because his grand-father was an Elder, and Morgul was gifted with the red eyes too. He never knew it would pass on through the family. When Vakgar let out his first word "Ug". When he started growing tusks, his father held him up and bashed his head against Vakgar's. Vakgar felt little pain, and instead, bashed his head back on his fathers. Morgul grunted and let out a laugh, then dropped Vakgar to the floor, pleased at his son's defiance. As a cub, Vakgar was trained to fight at age 5, being a Nomad Orc, and trained with his father. He quickly adapted to the fistfights and learned to use a Sword at the age of 8. His little tusks quickly grew into large tusks which made it hard for him to speak common tongue. He bested all his friends in fistfights, often leaving them with a black eye. His poor brother was a Whitewash, and his father disowned him, forcing him into the desert. Vakgar was soon taught the Orc culture, to hate Dwarves and Elves, and to become a warrior Nomad Orc. He reached adult-hood at the early age of 15 and was given a spiked Shield to go along with his 1-handed Sword. One day at age 20 Morgul asked Vakgar to come speak with him. Morgul said his clan, was going to battle with another clan, and to not be worried if he didn't come back. Three days later Vakgar learned that Morgul, along with most of his clan, had died in an Elf ambush. The Elves almost obliterated the whole clan, causing it to lose favor of the Warlord and disappear off the clan list because of about only 20 surviving members. A Goblin scout was sent to find an enemy clan's base, but instead lead the clan directly into an Elven camp where the Elves ambushed them. Vakgar then spent a remarkable two years (a lot for a Nomad Orc) practicing common tongue, even though it still isn't that good with his huge tusks. Now 60 years later, with Vakgar being 83, he still resides in War Uzg and has a deep hate for Elves and doesn't trust Goblins. Vakgar is 8 feet high and is a dark green shade of skin. He is bald, but naturally has black hair. His eyes still remain blood-red and he wears a leather cloak that gives him some extra protection. Vakgar now believes that by defeating Men, Dwarf, and Elf in battle will earn him honor and gain him mastery of combat. What is your Character's ambitions?: Vakgar's ambitions are to become a great warrior in War Uzg and to defeat Men, Dwarf, and Elf in battle. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Vakgar's favorite tool is his shield, which consists of iron and has spikes going around the side, and his fists. Vakgar always loves a good fist-fight. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Vakgar's best talent is in combat, and he prides himself over being able to defeat opponents. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/192995/orc/ Other Information about your Character: Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Vakgar creeps behind the two warriors and lets out a gigantic laugh. He finds the harassment amusing. The Warriors jump, and quickly turn around, being greeted by a giant menacing Orc with his blood-red eyes. They draw out their blades and Vakgar laughs once more. "Leetel Pinkie!" Vakgar says in his best common tongue so the Warriors can understand him. One of the Warriors tries to kill Vakgar with his sword, but Vakgar blocks it with his hard shield, sending the Warriors sword sprawling. He then picks up the warrior and bashes his head against the Warrior's. The Warrior collapses. "Leetel Pinkie babby hed," Vakgar says as the halfing and remaining Warrior run in opposite directions. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Vakgar takes the time to study the wares. He is mostly selling clothing and metals, none of which Vakgar needs. "Mr. Orc?" the merchant says. "Are you going to buy anything or not? I got customers here that sure don't want to wait for you to take so long to look at my wares!" Vakgar growls at the merchant and he jumps a little. "Look, we don't want your kind here. Please get out or I will have to call the guards." "Hmph," Vakgar says. "Dum Pinkie..." Vakgar walks away from the stand. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Vakgar peers into the house. He looks at the rusted iron bars and grunts. He lifts them up to see if there is anything underneath. There lay a Golden Sword. It had several carvings on it. He studied them and found out they were Elvish. "Ahh! Pinkies!" Vakgar exclaims, not wanting to touch the sword of an Elf. With gold being a soft metal, he bends the blade and throws the sword to the ground. Unsatisfied, he walks away muttering. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Vakgar studies the camp. They are all men. "Pinkies goot fud?" Vakgar asks. "Food?" one of the Men reply. "Plenty! Normally we don't want your type around here, but you seem to be friendly enough." "Not look friendly. Hehehe," A different Man replied. Vakgar growled at the other man and helped himself to some food, then made off without saying a word. "Hmmph! Yu sem to be frendlee enuf!" Vakgar thinks to himself. He didn't enjoy being complimented by Pinkies. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: The town being in War Uzg, Vakgar gladly obliges to fight off bandits coming into War Uzg. Being encouraged by Vakgar, several other Orcs volunteer. Vakgar hopes to gain honor by fighting off these bandits. When the bandits come, they didn't except all the new volunteers and were killed by the large Orc numbers. If the town was a Pinkie town, Vakgar would consider it dishonorable to fight along-side Pinkies.
