You might remember me roleplaying with y’all a few years ago.

I come back to say hi often, but don’t actually play.

So I’m postin’ this thingy.

Might play if someone makes me an offer I can’t refuse. Need a female character in your group/family filled? I could do that. I also used to do skins and stuff, so I could probably pick that up again too. Preferably will start after new map. I prefer humans, but I might try something new. Always been a fan of orcs and dwarves. Might be some new stuff out there, idk.

In the seven skies, Isra rejoices. Finally, her family is reunited once more - her daughter, her husband, her brother. She can finally see them.

Renee de Aryn smiles, hearing word of Edward's move to Lorraine. "You'll do well, my friend."

Small updates. Journal number three will be started soon(ish).

Renee de Aryn, having missed the joust from the other day, decides to attend this festival. Maybe she would be able to find the friends and family she hadn't seen in so long.

Upon hearing news of the latest about Marbrand, Renee de Aryn wrinkled her nose.

"Jory  must be rolling in his grave... his boy disgraces him."

In a carriage headed towards the barony of Virdain, a fair-haired woman held the notice of Jaromir's bounty in thin, pale fingers.

"Oh, my dear friend, what have you gotten yourself into now...?" She frowns, remembering her last words with him, before folding the paper precisely and tucking it into the book in her lap. She was coming home... and she hoped no news of Jaromir's demise would be awaiting her there.

Back in Virdain, Lady Renee de Aryn sniffs. She hadn't been invited, and when she had finally heard word of the wedding, it was too late.

No thank you. I don't interact much with Leslie anymore after her attitude of "I was the best queen of Oren" within the circle of noblelady rp'ers and her metagaming paranoia during the Duke's War. Refused to rp with me because she thought I was gonna off her character.

She may have gotten better in those aspects (kudos to her if she has!) but from past experiences which are admittedly from a long while ago, I'm going to have to -1 this. Sorry girl.

I have finished one journal in-game and I'm working on a second, but it was sad for me because I wanted to share the experiences my character had, but ICly she wouldn't want anyone to read them. I was planning on releasing them into the world after she dies, but in the meantime I still want people to read them now, so I'm just taking screenshots and compiling them together for OOC readers.

I was trying to sort that out... with the new forum, I think it's harder to put image links (if you go that route) through a series of spoilers and I just sort of gave up. Right now I'm taking screenshots of my character's in-game journals and putting them in a doc. Then I'll just link it to my character's bio thread.

BIOGRAPHY
Renée was born to Thomas and Klara de Aryn on the 16th of the Amber Cold, 1529 in Kaedrin. As a child, Renée was a very active and engaging child - she always ran about with her cousin Vivienne, played with her dollies, and enjoyed being read to. As she grew, Renée retained many childish attributes and had fits of anger. Worried for his daughter, Thomas consulted many doctors and nothing could be found physically wrong with her. Finally he decided to send her away to a private tutor and nurse who could care for her - he thought she might be stressed in their busy home and he secretly felt a bit embarrassed of his daughter. Often when the family had company, Renée had to be put in her room and closely guarded so she would not disturb the others.
After a few years of living privately, Renée returned at the age of seventeen to her father’s barony of Virdain. Seemingly mostly cured of her previous afflictions, they are replaced with others, though they are a bit more inconspicuous. During this time, she also took it upon herself to write "The Dove Maiden Letters," a small series of three anonymous letters meant to be her own thoughts in a world where speaking them publicly would not be proper for her to do. She only wrote three letters, after being exposed as the Dove Maiden by Gwyndolyn Warlai.

In a strange turn of events, she was baptised in Krajia and declared a Raevir. She was given the name Rozaliya “Roza” Tomasovich and had many adventures and also many close calls - such as her run in with orcs or her escape from a raid.

As requested by Lord Denis de Bar, she has returned to Virdain. Now she spends her days frequenting other Houses of Oren and writing within the confines of her old manor-home.

Meanwhile, Renee wonders where her dear friend Gwyn might have gone...

As was her custom for the injured lords that happened near Drusco, Renee de Aryn carefully carried a bucket of snow to Geldern. Surely it would help ease his pain, she hoped. She remembered their easy conversations and his kindness towards her when he came to visit her while she was sick. The young lady hoped to aid as best she could.

Upon hearing the news, Renée de Aryn sighs.

"There goes Gwyn's champion... she goes after all the wrong men..."

However, she sends word of her congratulations for the happy couple. Aurabella deserved a good man in her life.

Somewhere far, far away on the open seas, Rajiya would clutch a flier that she had found in the last port they had visited. Frowning at the paper, she crumples it into her hand and then raises her fist to her forehead. She closes her eyes, thinking of all she left behind at the end of the reign of Rovin and the disbandment of Hollowvale.

Just let it die...

Lady Renée de Aryn, upon hearing word of the tourney, makes up her mind to go immediately to go support her cousin and any other family members or friends that are competing.

After already living a few days in Godansk anyways, Renee - no, Roza - decided to officially become a resident.

In Virdain, all that could be heard could be the ringing of hammers and the calling of men as the new castle was being constructed. In the manor, all would be silent - Renee was there no longer.

A letter tied with a blue ribbon, bearing no name nor sigil, would appear to accompany the fliers advertising the expedition, though it was canceled. It reads as follows.

Gwyndolyn Warlai,

Though you have canceled this expedition, I highly doubt you are done trying to ascend to nobility. You and your kin have proved to be ambitious and scheming, waiting for the first chance to elevate yourselves in the eyes of men. I urge you to stop. Not only is it unattractive to the rest of Valior, we can see right through your intentions. You only arranged this trip of yours to 1) spite your kin, which has been executed, and 2) to gain land and respect. Despite what you say, your intentions were never to scout out the area for our Emperor. You speak as if you already own Cascadia. 

This has not been your only attempt at elevating yourself. You also have also aspired to become a handmaiden in the Orenian palace in order to attempt to seduce our good Emperor. The Creator frowns upon such acts of adultery, yet you were so ready to do whatever it takes to become a noble. You even try to make powerful friends without knowing anything meaningful about them besides their money and their stature.

It is time that you realize that enough is enough. You want respect? Earn it rather than trying to find a quick and easy solution to sate your lust for power. You want land and titles? Forget yourself and put others before; due rewards will come in time.
