  1. MC Name: Chuckleluck RP Name: Seijyr Bloodscuttle Do ye have any past experience: Not on this server What skills do ye have [Combat and other helpful skills]: Mostly basic "grunt" swordfighting. I'm decent at cutting wood, if it helps any. Where do ye currently live?: Homeless
  2. Out-Of-Character Minecraft Account Name: Chuckleluck How old are you?: 15 Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Central Time Zone, USA Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes. I typically use correct grammar and spelling in Minecraft, although I do not usually capitalize letters. I can do so for the sake of roleplaying though. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm an amateur computer programmer and a Christian. I think the roleplaying aspect of Minecraft is under-appreciated, although this server seems to be a great exception. My favorite type of fantasy is in the style of The Elder Scrolls, not so much the cliche JRPG style. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Around an hour a day, possibly more. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Putting yourself in a different, interesting person's shoes, in a different time and place. It means behaving, talking and acting like your character. Doing everything on your part to act like how your character would, as realistically as possible. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I played one roleplaying server (I don't remember the name) in which I was a legion soldier. The legion captain was very fond of me. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Essentially using information gained outside of the game to affect your decisions in-game. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is not letting others respond to your actions. For example, Power-Gaming would be saying "Chuckleluck taps Notch on the shoulder. Notch turns around, and Chuckleluck delivers a knockout blow instantly." Power-Gaming would be the second sentence. What do you expect this server will be like?: A fantasy world full of colorful places and people, perhaps with towns, villagers, farmers, bandits, adventurers, dungeons, etc. I hope to have many adventures and make new friends. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: The server "Jax Kingdom" I play on regularly. I've played on others, but most seem dissatisfying. I also own a private server. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes. I will break character if, say, someone is griefing, and I need to tell an admin. How did you hear about us?: I googled "Minecraft Roleplaying Server" Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: Application Numero Uno In-Character: Character Name: Seijyr Bloodscuttle What Race are you?: Dwarf What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Mountain Dwarf Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):I am Seijyr Bloodscuttle (say-jur blood-skut-ul), a loyal adventurer if there ever was one. At 23 years of age, I'm relatively young, for a dwarf. I have blue eyes, dark brown hair, and stand at the height of 4'7. Although I'm as green as grass, I'm a little proud. I have a steep hatred for the humans-- I see them as proud cowards, hiding behind their Holy Oren Empire for safety. I grew up in Kal'Urguan. My parents divorced when I was young, at age 11. My father was a high-ranking member of the Kal'Urguan legion, and my mother was a healer. In that way, I wanted to become like both of them: my dream was to become a warrior-medic. I pursue that dream to this day. More about my mother: She loved nature. I'm not entirely convinced she isn't part forest dwarf. Or maybe she had elf blood. Anyway, she was never content with living in the big city with my father. Sure, she had a comfortable room in the temple, but she missed the green shady forests. Eventually she couldn't bear city life any more, and they split. After my parents split, I lived at opposites-- I would spend spring and summer with my mother in a peaceful cabin the woods, and the fall and winter with my father at the war barracks in Kal'Urguan. My father taught me that although peace is good and right, armies exist, or should exist, to protect and deter against those who hate peace; my mother taught me that if it is all possible, be kind. If you are kind to an angry man, it will be the sweetest revenge you can experience. This period of split living would come to an end. My mother died when I was 16, killed by human bandits. This didn't help my already-seething hatred of their kind. After her funeral, of which there were only fourteen attendees (my father was not present), I lived with my father year-long. Until he died, about a month ago, that is. It appeared he died of natural causes-- I'll never be certain. My father had a large funeral. The entire Kal'Urguan legion was in attendance. In my father's will, he gifted me his quarters at the barracks until his position was filled. That took approximately...five days. And now here I am. The whole world is before me. I plan on pursuing my dream of becoming a medic, and who knows? Maybe I'll end up in an adventuring party some day. Most importantly, though, I seek someone, or maybe a couple of people, I can stick with. I value loyalty above all else, and I hope I can find like-minded people. Loneliness is an awful thing. I have very strong opinions-- sometimes too strong. I hate the humans, and the traitorous Alrasians. However, I want to fight for what's good, although perhaps my pride and these opinions get in the way. What are your Character's ambitions?: I want to see Asulon in its glory. And as I said, I wish to be like my father and mother, becoming a warrior-medic. In addition, I hope some day the dwarves and the orcs could overcome their differences and forge a strong alliance-- perhaps one against the humans? Finally, I want to find a group of loyal like-minded folk I can call friends. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): The axe, a true dwarf's weapon. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Although it might not be a talent, you won't find anyone more loyal than myself this side of Asulon. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format, if you do not know how to acquire one, copy and paste this link into your browser: ( http://tinyurl.com/Lotcscreenshot ): Other Information about your Character: I am sort of a Neutral-Good alignment. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? A human? Being robbed? Bah. He got what was coming to him. Humans can't hide behind their frail Oren Empire forever, you know. Eventually they have to grow a beard and become a man. Maybe this'll help the halfling see how defenseless he really is. I continue on my way, the halfling's cries for help falling on deaf ears. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Identifying him as a dwarf like myself, I greet him warmly. I then notice how old he is, and his wares: iron plate armor. Surely such an old, frail dwarf could not pack and unpack this merchandise with the ease of someone like me. I offer my help for the day, in exchange for a modest cut of the profits. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I look around for anything else, ensuring that it is indeed abandoned. Seeing as it is dusk, I lay my bedroll down and decide to sleep in the hut for the night. When I awake, I hear voices outside. I cautiously open the door a crack, and see four bandits walking toward the hut. Panicked, I look for somewhere to hide-- and find a small back door, perhaps used by a dog. No matter the case, I grab the loot and squeeze through the door. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Seeing that they are dwarves, I greet them warmly, and ask to purchase food and directions. They set me by the fire, and give me both, on the house. Feeling welcome, I ask them where they hail from. Their reply makes me cringe: "Alras." Trying to contain my temper, I begin talking politics with them-- something we don't see eye-to-eye with. However, dwarves are dwarves, and they let me stay the night, for a fee (a fee no doubt imposed by my political views). I continue on my way the next morning. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: A rush of happiness overwhelms me-- is this my chance to fulfill my dream of becoming a warrior? No. The town has plenty of healers, for its size. They wouldn't need me, who barely knows what to do for a zombie bite. I decide to sign up anyway, as cannon fodder. Luckily, there aren't many bandits to fight anyway, perhaps a dozen. Anything else you would like to say?: I hope I get accepted this time. Many servers say they are unique, but I think this one truly will be.
