Out-Of-Character
Minecraft Account Name: MrRizzil
How old are you?: Fourteen
Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Nova Scotia, Canada, so one hour behind EST time.
Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Been speaking it all my life, A's in English, I'd like to think I know it...
Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm a hard working, dedicated guy who generally likes to joke around and have fun. Of course, that doesn't mean I can be serious, of course. I first discovered RP a while ago, and I've loved it ever since! I also throroughly enjoy writing stories, and short books! And if I say anything that comes out as offensive...I'm probably joking.
How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 2-3 hours a day.
What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Role Playing is basically living in someone else's life. You are not yourself, you are the character you created, what they know, what they feel, and what they believe!
What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Lordran the Lost Souls, and a very big server that has a minor RP touch to it, MassiveCraft. I've also read...Probably too many books about medieavel fiction and things like that...
In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is basically taking information from OOC that your character would not normally know, and using it IC. (Example:) Joe speaking in OOC: Hey Tim, you know I"m a vampire?
Tim speaking in IC: Die filthy vampire!
In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-Emoting (Or Power-Gaming.) is when your character causes harm, or kills another player without letting them have a choice to get out of it in a clever way.
(Example:) Tim: *Slashes Joe across the neck and decapitates him!*
What do you expect this server will be like?:I feel this server will be unlike any other I've played on! From what I've seen so far, the map is absoloutely beautiful, and everyone on the server is very friendly! The lore is totally unique, and I think it will be easy to find myself immersed and lost in this world...
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Well, Lordran as I've said, and Massivecraft are the ONLY two RP servers I've played on. (Not counting the other PVP, factions, and building.) Well, Lordran was my very first, I've made tons of friends on it, but it lacks something this server has, which is it is totally unique to every other server! MassiveCraft however, is unique also, but it does not immerse you what-so-ever. It is more of a faction PVP server.
Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, and the proper etiquette.
Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: *In Thor voice* I SWEAR!
How did you hear about us?: Believe it or not, I saw Petri's video from over a year ago...I'm starting to think it was fate I clicked that video.
Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: I have, for the Lordran Lost Souls! The link is found right here: Erm...Yeah, scratch that, I spent the last half an hour looking through the thread for it, I thought it was around 250-260 but...Apparently not. If I find it or if it is mandatory I'll edit this post and put it in there.
In-Character:
Character Name: Alkahir.
What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Human.
What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):N/A
Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):(Time for the fun stuff.)
Alkahir was born in the sandy wasteland. His parents, bandits who roamed the desert, robbing the helpless travellers who strayed off the beaten path. As he was growing up, he did not really process what the people around him were doing for the first eight years of his life, but when he hit nine...He finally realized what was happening. It pained Alkahir to see his parents succumb to such evil, and it scarred him as a child, in a way that most children cannot relate to. Most children grow up looking up, admiring, and learning from their parents, but Alkahir grew up learning to detest, and even look down upon his parents. He witnessed horrors that children were not yet ready to see, and it changed the way he viewed the world. When he was a child, he only saw the bad in life. He saw killing, murder, rape, and pillaging, and although he tried to close his eyes to most of the horrors, he still saw the worst of the world. Though as he grew older, he found ways to distract himself from the terrors that awaited him each time he woke up in the morning. One of his most useful, was his sense of humor. As he grew older, he learned to find the light in the darkest situations, having grown up in the dark all of his life. Another was training. He put himself through rigorous training sessions, not to stay fit, or strong, but simply to distract himself from the evils his clan did every day. His mother, a slave taken from a village, but taken into the clan as his father's wife, did not look the same as all the other clan members, and sadly, Alkahir inherited her skin, and eyes. Unlike his father, Alkahir had his mother's deep, dark blue eyes, and light skin, and an average build, with slightly stronger than average legs, while his father had a dark, brown skin, and brown eyes. Alkahir grew up living with a sword in his hand at all times. Even when he was sleeping he was cuddling with his forged iron sword his father gave him. He could best any other man of his age, and even two years older, but that did not say much as the clan was bandits. On one particular raid on a costal town, Alkahir's life took a turn for the better, although it may not have looked like it.
He was eighteen, and his clan was planning a raid on a lightly garrisoned costal trading town. The pillage would be ripe, and the enemies few, it was a perfect raid. It was not until the clan pushed into the town that they saw what they did not anticipate. An armed caravan was making it's way through the village and was resting there for the past week, and they were just preparing to take their leave from the town, all mounted and armed, when the clan came stumbling into the town. Alkahir usually did not take part in raids, but his father insisted they needed every able bodied man and woman for it. He rode into the village on his horse, Snake, swinging his sword nervously, and then they saw the collum of armed men lined up at town square. He immediately went to wheel Snake around but the rest of his clan surged forward anyway shouting battle cries. The armed men wheeled their own horses around, and levelled there spears to meet the oncoming rush of men and women. Alkahir got caught up in the rush, and Snake ended up joining the charge with the clan. As the first line of the clan went down and fell of their horses from the spears, it caused every horse in the entire little army to either take a misstep, or fall down completely. Snake, being the clever horse he is, saw this catastrophe ahead and bucked Alkahir off to the side, and right on top of a dismounted armed man. Alkahir quickly scrabbled for his sword, and rolled up to meet his assaliant. The man had a strange weapon in his hands, he held it with two hands, and it looked like an axe, but it had a thinner blade. Alkahir feinted a lunge at the man's chest, which the man side stepped, but then Alkahir threw all of his weight at the man and knocked him flat on the ground. Alkahir quickly knocked him on the temple, knocking him out, and dragged the man to an alley way to lie him down. He picked up the strange weapon the man was holding, shrugged, and slung it across his back. He looked at the carnage in the town sqaure: Only three men of the caravan died on that day, and Alkahir's entire clan was wiped out, save himself. Alkahir nervously walked around the remains of the battlefield, scanning for familiar faces. The armed men paid him no attention for the reason that he looked nothing like any of his clan. Then, he saw what he was hoping for. The faces of his parents, lying in the middle of all of the bodies, his father a sword through one man, and his mother her arms around his father. Normally, children would have been distraught to see this...But Alkahir...Was free. Finally after all these years of witnessing the horrors that his parents...His own blood had comitted, he was free of those chains! Alkahir let out a whoop of delight, and strode down the street, and into his new life.
What are your Character's ambitions?: Alkahir wants nothing more in his life than to simply live it. He does not fear death, it has been his companion all his life, but he does not want to die.
What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): He is most skilled with a war scythe, but is also very skilled with a sword.
What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? His silver tongue, next to his swordsmanship skills, would by far be his most useful skill. He can sweet talk and charm his way out of virtually any situation.

Open-Response-Questions
Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Alkahir walks up to the man and grins at them. "Poor little fella', eh? What'd he do to you?" Alkahir gestures at the small man. "Whadid' he do?! He's bein' a halfling, 'das what he's done!" The two men grin at each other, and continue beating the small man, not noticing Alkahir's scythe coming down on the one that had just spoke, being plunged into between his shoulder blades. The second man's look on his face was pure shock, and didn't even register Alkahir's whirling scythe being driven into his chest. Alkahir rummages through the dead men, and finds three coin purses, and throws them all to the halfing who seems shaken up, but fine. Alkahir continues down the road, looking back at the men, and he grins.
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Alkahir give him one of his grins and says: "You say this gem is worth five hundred, but look! This craftsmanship was obviously done by nothing less than a blind halfling!" *Alkahir begins to walk away but then the man behind him shouts* "I'll bring it down to two fifty than!" *Alkahir grins and turns around*. "I would also like to purchase that item...Right there." *Alkahir points to a scythe.* "You mean a gardening hoe? Why would you want one of those?" *The merchant looks at him, incrudelous.* "I...Have my uses for it." *Alkahir grins once more and hands the man his money, pocketing the gem, and swinging the scythe across his back.*
Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: *Alkahir strides into the hut, seeming relatively confideint no one is in here.* He has just enough time to register a whoosing sound close to his head and he throws himself out of the hut, seeing a curved blade bite into the wood where his head once was. Alkahir rolls backwards and unhooks his scythe from his belt, dropping into a combat crouch, circling his new opponet. Alkahir feints a run at him, then swings his scythe and hooks the bandit's legs, he then brings the scythe down into his chest. He strides into the hut once more, though more warily, grabs the items, and continues on his way.
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? *Alkahir dusts himself off and appears grim, but is hiding a smile under his false frown.* "My good man...I've been lost in these woods for over a week...I had to eat my horse...My dog ran off, and I was harried by a pack of wolves all the way here...*Willingly turns his voice to a croak* If you could spare me just a piece of bread..." The man looks at him with a sympathetic smile and hands him a bowl of mushroom soup. Alkahir takes a glance around the camp, looks into an unoccupied tent and settles in, laying his scythe beside his bed.
You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: *Alkahir picks up his scythe with a grin and moves to the head of the group with the captain of the guard* "So, where ae these bandits holed up in again?" Alkahir cheerfully asks. The captain grunts. "Just at the end of this road...Only a few more minutes." "Alkahir passes the time by humming a song, and then, the bandit camp comes into view, nestled in the woods. The captain signals him men to spread out around the camp, and Alkahir stays behind the captain. The captain pulls out a horn, checks his men, and lets out a long, deep note. The men start rushing in, catching the bandits unprepared, and drop two out of the fourteen immediately. Alkahir runs in, flanking the captain, and spots a man hurridly stringing his bow. Alkahir sprints at him, and sweeps his scythe at the bow, shattering it, and then rams the shaft into the man's nose, following up with a kick to the chest. Alkahir looks around the camp to see the bandits greatly outnumbered, and all remaining lying dead, or captured. Alkahir walks up to the captain of the guard, and extends his hand with an open palm. The captain throws a coin purse at him, and Alkahir walks away grinning.
Anything else you would like to say?: Eh...Nothing much to say other than I hope this get's excepted, and if you want me to go into more details on the battles...I will GLADLY do that...One of my favorite parts about RPing is RPing out the fights, not just PVPing! Also, after looking over my last app...The biography was VERY sloppy...And I am very sorry for that...
