Keep it up @Burnsiderthis has been overdue for WAY too long

You know things are scuffed when you find more enjoyment mining an ore node every 15 minutes and exploring developer plugins that offer their own uniqueness (When they aren't broken half the time) rather than interacting with actual people on a roleplay server. 

Back in my day you could've just come to terms with the other party on what they wanted and been done with it, 

fast forward to present day you have both sides advocating for pvp and crp, each have their own points,

Pvp is down to earth and popular with many, straight to the point with some problems, the other side is no different.

Crp was nice if both sides agreed, but nowadays you have to memorize every other rule or find some loophole if you want to be able to outdo the other guy- Same goes with pvp, to a lesser extent.

I miss the old times. Bring back the old times. But like Lotc- people don't like change. Alas, tragic times plague us all.

Nugget peeked up from his rocky abode, spitting out a chunk of Netherite out from his mouth and quickly burrowing back into the mines. 

Alas, the only local dwarf to favor ore over the thrill of coin.

I miss the good old days. 

I miss the llamas.

I miss the gathering and the socialization brought by pits.

I missed the phase of when I cared.

I missed the most when exploration actually held a purpose besides 'finding' events. 

Nugget would audibly respond if not for the new lump Malflame infused lump in his mouth- 

Wait, that's his tongue? Oh right, he forgot about that one. 

Instead, Nugget merely holds up a Corgi sized hog, it's face holds mild concern, moreso the confusion situation in why it was even lifted to begin with- 

Nugget soon flees at the sight, baffled by such . . Degeneracy

Almaris was a botched, bastardized child that was thrown out into the playground of expectations and returned home bloodied and bruised and was shunned for its shortcomings. 

Didn't pay much attention, loved vortex, found it enjoyable, gave a sense of progression, trust and companionship then it got removed, then I had nothing to do. 

Everything was basically slow to a pin with nothing to do (in my opinion, don't screech at me) and frankly I feel others would agree.

Staff is making me feel uneasy, it makes a-lot of people worried, the seat being thrown around like a party chair isn't reassuring. Though, I twiddle my thumbs, from the shadows.

Frankly, things could be a-lot better, but with the resources we currently have, which- aren't many, is to be expected. 

4/10 Atleast the void hasn't consumed us.

Warclaims should be solved with Bucketball if both parties consent to the activity. 

Everyone's boastful until there's a reason not to be. 

They're not trying to impress, they're not trying to keep to character.

As a person with mild Autism, I can say that it generally depends on how it's played. In normal circumstances, roleplay is roleplay, Genuinely it is what it is. '^ '  

There's a select few who use it to act like utter buffoons but alas, we move on. If a person isn't comfortable with mental illness, remember, our world isn't perfect. WE are not perfect, we are only what we make of ourselves. That's what matters.

Oh my that's an uncomfortable topic. 

Frankly, many things.

Lotc is a place to hang out. Lotc is a place to enjoy When everyone cooperates.

Alas, When I first wished to come upon lotc, things were much different. This were. . 2012 or so, we were all much younger, unfortunately- I didn't see much light until 2018 or so, six years later, when Atlas was in it's mid stage, I was a small bab then, didn't know who were top figures or what to do, for that matter. Times were simpler, they were. . nice, to say the least.

Unfortunately, not everything can last the way it is.

Fast forward to today, here we are, skin's thinner than a potato chip and just about anything can lead you a warning. You can't get friendly with anyone without being accused of conspiring, or better yet not be part of the big 'wig' club.

Nugget is visibly amused amidst his melon crusade on Oren.

Nugget happily pretends the next batch of melons are Orenian heads, humming 'Iron from Ice' On occasion. 

The Dwarflet can dream, don't mind him, go about your business~ 

Nugget sees this as more reasons to dislike Oren more than they already showed off to the rest of Almaris.

Nugget may not know his dwarven kin very well, but at the least he doesn't get turned away because of his Complications

If Almaris was smart they would extract Oren from the land, and promptly squish it like a melon. 

Nugget does not approve how wig wearing pompous Orenians are calling every other race than them lesser. 

Though, in a sense, Nugget sees actual humans to higher regard than these 'peoples'
