Canadian English that is. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am basic Minecraft player who enjoys RPing with people. I think out things a lot and make friends with anyone I can, so that we can have more fun together. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I can be on the server approximately 5-6 hours on average, depending on what is going on IRL. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: I have Role-played on a couple of different servers with about 20-40 people, but never as much as this server has to offer. Now to me Roleplaying means creating a character or choosing a character that you, in a sense, become. You lose your own mind and envelope yourself with the spirit and mental setup of that character. You act and re-act in the same way that your character would in that situation, and do things that your character would do. You may feel OOCly that it is bad to do such a thing as being racist or aggresive, but your character does not and would do it with enthusiam. So all in all, Roleplaying is acting as the character you are and not yourself. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have RPed on a couple of small servers woth about 20-40 people and have had experience in all kinds of roles. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Doing something or revealing information that you know OOCly but your character does not know In-character. Such as your friend telling you OOCly that he is being kidnapped and you going to his location with no in-game RP reason to do so. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: The act of Power-Emoting is doing an emote that doesn't let the other person do anything, basically telling them what is happening and they don't have a choice. For example their are two people having a bar fight and the one emotes smashing the bottle on the counter and then thrusting it straight into the others chest, killing them. That is power-emoting. The proper way would have been he smashed the bottle and then attempted to stab him in the chest. The two players have to co-operate to make the situation as realistic as possible, and as enjoyable to all involved. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect the server will be fun, challenging and always exciting and new. I hope that it will never get boring and that the GMs will work to make sure we can all enjoy it. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Being born into a Noble family of Holy Oren Empire, Daroth was raised into a life of Honour and bravery. His father was a brave Knight of King Godfrey I, and taught Daroth all about how King Godfrey was a great and wise man who ruled over the Land of Asulon with his great Empire. Daroth was eventually made a squire and trained to become worthy of working for the King. All things seemed wonderful in Daroth's life, until the day his father was murdered. As a knight, Daroth's father fought for the Kingdom, and all who lived in it. Yet one day when he was returning back to Renatus, he was ambushed by some bandits and killed. His horse dragged him to the outskirts of the city where a guard in a watch tower saw his corpse. Several men rode out and brought him back, where he was cremated, and his sword was passed on to Daroth. Several weeks passed before Daroth resumed his training. He spent every day working hard to make sure that he could make his father proud. When Daroth turned 17, tradgedy struck again. His mother fell ill and was bound to die in a short time. Daroth tried to comfort her, but eventually death took her. After that, Daroth became a very cold person. He lacked emotions and became a very brave and fearless man, who eventually became the squire under Sir Kais Ishikawa. He learned very well from Kais and did whatever he was ordered to do without question. Kais enjoyed having such an obedient and effective squire under his command and took him with on many missions. Now at the age of 19, Daroth serves Kais well and looks forward to becoming a knight under The King. What are your Character's ambitions?: My character's ambitions are to serve his King and become a great knight just like his father was. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): His favourite tool is by far a sword. He enjoys its elagance and speed over that of a bulky axe. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? His most skilled talents are with a sword and also with a bow, hitting a target dead on every time. I wistle and a bird lands on my arm. I write a quick note and then send the bird off, before approaching the armed warriors. "Excuse me, but what do you think you're doing?" I say to the men. They step away from the halfling and turn to face me. "Who da nether do ya tink you are?" the one says in a thick accent. Placing my hand on the hilt of my sword, I respond to their question. "I am a knight of the Holy Oren Empire," as I shift my glance between the both of them, "and I suggest you leave the halfling alone this instant." The two men exchange looks and then laugh at me."Oh yeah! Ha ha ha haa..." The one blurts out. "And what are ye going to do to us if we don't?! Ha ha ha..." Listening to the bustle of noise behind me, I hear what I was waiting for, then I calmly say to the men "Then I'm going to arrest the both of you..." "Oh yeah? You and what army?" The one says to me, spitting little bits of flem at me as he does so. I whistle again and Sir Kais along with two other knights step up next to me, all with their swords drawn. The two men look at each other then run off, dropping what they took from the halfling. The knights sheath their swords and then we walk back down the road. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I browse his items carefully and then something catches my eye. The hilt of a sword sticking out from underneath some clothes. I lift off the clothes and then grab onto the sword. "Ah..." The merchant says, "I see you're interested in that sword..." I glance over to him momentarily before returning my focus to the sword. I unsheath the sword and in my hand it feels almost perfectly balanced. As I slide my hand up the blade, its still razor sharp edge slices through my finger and deep red blood quickly flows out. I sheath the sword and then wrap up my finger in some cloth. "How much for the sword?" I ask the merchant. "Hmmm..." He says as he thinks to himself. "I suppose 1000 Minas is a good price..." I think about the price and then ask him "How about 900 Minas?" "A'course lad! 900 Minas it is then." He exclaims aloud. I pull out my bag of coins and hand him 900 Minas, then attach the sword to my belt. "Thank you for the sword good sir." I say to the man as I walk off. "It was my pleasure." he replies as he stuffs the Minas in his pocket. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Picking up the Golden sword, I inspect the sword for any imperfections or recent wear. I find the blade to be almost perfectly crafted and free of any damage. I wrap the sword in a cloth and put it in my gear belt, then head off to Renatus, where I sell the sword and make quite a pretty mina in just a few minutes, selling it to some man in a hurry to get a weapon. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Excuse me, but do you have a map and some food you can spare?" I ask them politely. "A'course we do!" The one man says, then gets up and walks over to me. "I need to get back to Renatus but have neither a map nor the energy to get there." I tell the man. "Well come here then," he says happily," we got a whole pot full of warm stew" He scoops out a nice portion and puts it in a bowl, then hands it over to me. "Now while you eat that I'll go and get you a map." he says kindly. I eat the soup and the man even gives me a second helping, before giving me the map and sending me off on my way. On the way back to Renatus I think about how generous those people were even though I was a complete stranger. I continue down the path until I eventually reach Renatus, and meet up with Sir Kais, where he tells me of a group of bandits who are camping in the forest back in the direction I came. I realize that the people who had helped me may have been associating with or even themselves be bandits. I grab my sword and say to Sir Kais "It will be a pleasure to kill them sir." We then head off to the camp with half a dozen other knights and squires. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I join the group and then we head off down the road. Eventually we reach the spot where the bandits are and there is barely even a warning before the battle ensues. A man yells out and the bandits rush to their feet and draw their weapons. We charge in at them and it quickly becomes obvious that we will not win. I narrowly escape and take hiding a few hundred feet from the battle. I then summon my messenger bird and send a note off to Sir Kais asking for his assitance. He shows up just a few minutes later with other knights and they quickly kill the bandits. I thank him for showing up just in the nick of time, and we then take the survivors back to the town to be treated for their wounds. Now at the age of 24, Daroth serves King Godfrey and works to make sure that the Holy Oren Empire rules over the land of Asulon, and that King Godfrey Rules over the Empire. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "No thankyou good sir." I reply."I do not have a need for anything beyond what I already have." "Very well then!" He says aloud."If you change your mind though I'll be right 'ere." I nod and then turn away and explore the rest of Alras. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Picking up the Golden sword, I inspect the sword for any imperfections or recent wear. I find the blade to be almost perfectly crafted and free of any damage. I wrap the sword in a cloth and put it in my gear belt, then head off to Renatus to present as a gift to the King. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Excuse me, but do you have a map and some food you can spare?" I ask them politely. "A'course we do!" The one man says, then gets up and walks over to me. "I need to get back to Renatus but have neither a map nor the energy to get there." I tell the man. "Well come here then," he says happily," we got a whole pot full of warm stew" He scoops out a nice portion and puts it in a bowl, then hands it over to me. "Now while you eat that I'll go and get you a map." he says kindly. I eat the soup and the man even gives me a second helping, before giving me the map and sending me off on my way. On the way back to Renatus I think about how generous those people were even though I was a complete stranger. I continue down the path until I eventually reach Renatus. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I join the group and then we head off down the road. Eventually we reach the spot where the bandits are and there is barely even a warning before the battle ensues. Swords clash and blood gushes, and after serveral minutes of fighting, the bandits are dead, along with a few of our own men. I wipe off my sword on the grass and then sheath it. I collect my reward and then head back to Renatus, glad I can inform them that some more bandits are dead. Anything else you would like to say?: Nope
