I also am quite adept at logging. About myself: I am hail from Arethor, lived there as part of the working class and have known hard labor most of my entire existence. I ended up having to educate myself, learning how to read and write and eventually fight. Now I mostly travel the roads but frequent Arethor as I still have a soft spot for it being my hometown and all. Apologies if my note was too formal or not as flamboyant as you may have expected. Though I hope you will seek me to join your group as it seems rather pleasant.

(note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): None. Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Vandrid grew up in a family of four in the town of Arethor. He was the first born of he and his brother, whom were twins. As a child Vandrid was rather serious, despite the laid back mannerisms of his companions and brother, often being the one to think things through and often preferred watching the many duels and sword fights than going off to play games. In his teenage years, Vandrid took on the role of supporting his family as his father eventually became too old to do manual labor. So Vandrid would do the short term jobs in Arethor, logging, working at the pub, doing work on housing. Upon reaching adulthood he began to practice his swordplay in attempt to prepare himself to go see the world of Asulon. Once he left his family with the leftover minas he had been saving, he set out on his adventure to go see the world and perhaps carve out a niche of his own in which he would become renowned. What are your Character's ambitions?: While Vandrid seeks fame and fortune, he prefers to practice the art of swordsmanship, and would be more content working as a mercenary or guard than becoming a rich noble somewhere. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Vandrid prefers a blade more than anything else. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? A decent swordsman and good at hard labor, though lacking a decent education. Open-Response-Questions Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP. Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Vandrid, glancing down at his feet as to avoid attention, would try his hardest to pass by without being noticed. "Gah, I can't get caught in another mess, I almost got cut to ribbons by a groupa bandits last week, not worth risking my hide fer a lil' halfling." glancing towards the group one last time, Vandrid would trudge on to the nearest town and inform the guards to do better with their patrols and head to the nearest inn for a drink. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Vandrid would take the blade from his back and show it to the Merchant, "How much would it cost fer this ta be repaired 'n patched up?" "Ah, yes, let me see here... it is a tad scratched but I'm sure the local blacksmith could repair it for a couple hundred minas." Vandrid would grumble under his breath a bit before smiling to the merchant "Thank ya, I'll just head over there then!" Vandrid would then give the Merchant a hundred minas or so as he heads to the blacksmith. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: "As much as I'd love ta I ain't wasting any of my energy carrying all these back, hell, I don't even know where I am!" Vandrid would leave the items in the chest, begrudingly, and head off to what he hopes is the nearest source of civilization. Leaving a note in his stead saying "Lock yor dam chest." Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Would make sure to put on the most miserable face he could and ask for food, once getting his strength back he might help around the camp as thanks being a rather able-bodied worker and all. After staying a night or two he would ask the men for the nearest town, and leave a whole lot better than he was left off. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Vandrid, interested in both the reward and a chance to test his swordsmanship, would join the guard, sharpening his blade and gathering some light armor on his way out. Afterwards he would gladly take his minas and go, richer in experience and money. Anything else you would like to say?: I do hope to get accepted, the server looks pretty big and I think it'd be a ton 'o fun.
