Have you been previously banned or warned, and if so how many times and for what?: No sir

How much time a week can you dedicate to Forum Moderation?: Around 6-8 hours, give or take a few.  School and schoolwork is the main factor that limits this time. (Although, I scan the forums often during the day)

Why should you be a Forum Moderator?:

I have been the administrator of the forums on a different server, although small.  This included upkeep, organization, and other general moderating tasks.  I would say that I understand the basics of forum moderation due to this experience.

I wish to find a way to assist the server after being on here for over three years.  I hope that my maturity and history of behavior (no forum warnings or bans) can attest to my dedication to this community. People who know me can attest to my mature and calm nature - I do not seek to cause trouble by making rash and unintelligent decisions.  I really just want to be able to help out the community in some way, and this position seems to be the best fit for me and gives me the most potential to help.

Anything else you'd like to mention?:  Thanks for the opportunity, and thanks for considering this application.  I look forward to working with the team.

Update, February 6th 2016:  Still interested!

After he does so he turns to anybody observing, saying, "I do not usually participate in these types of approaches for change, but recent events  including the murder of Suliin'thill as well as her general ignorance and have led me to do so.. The maehr’sae hiylun’ehya is not safe with Elwyn controlling portions of our government."

The revered Okarir’tir will be the epitome of authority in matters pertaining the laws of the mali’aheral civilisation--for they are the guardians and keepers of the peace.

The words of the Okarir'tir shall follow and upkeep only the letter of the law--no more and no less. The Okarir'tir shall be chosen by referendum, and, should the citizenry be dissatisfied with their actions, can be removed by the same process.

Elwyn Izalith has failed to promote and protect the maehr’sae hiylun’ehya and has unsuccessfully performed her duty on these points…

1: Failed to protect us against Frost Witches.  Frost Witches come and go as they wish without any tests, which would be as simple as a small poke on their hand.  This has allowed attacks on citizens by Frost Witches, endangering the lives of all.

2: Failed to properly teach her fellow guardians how to efficiently do their duty.  There has been a continued absence of a guard force within the city, allowing criminals and creatures to cause havoc.

3: Failed to show competence by letting at least two assassins escape.

4: Citizens are unable to gain access through the gates and into the city due to the lack of diligence by the guardforce.

5: Allowed the cold and brutal murder of a citizen by the guard force in front of the citizens of Haelun’or, despite there being no trial or evidence displayed beforehand.

6: Was never elected to the position of Okarir’tir but was internally promoted without the citizen’s approval.

Should the citizens vote to remove her from the position of Okarir’tir, we will vote to appoint a new one.  Also use this information for reference in the upcoming Medi’ir election, lliran.

    Nope!

How much time a week can you dedicate to Forum Moderation?:

    14-28 hours

Why should you be a Forum Moderator?:

I have interacted with a variety of people and understand the importance of holding a staff position to ensure that all players are treated fairly.  We hold these positions to serve the players and the community, making sure that it is a fair and enjoyable place to be.

I have moderated the forums on a different server, although small.  This included upkeep, organization, and other general moderating tasks.  I would say that I understand the basics of forum moderation due to this experience.

I wish to find a way to assist the server after being on here for almost three years, and this position seems to be the best available option.  I understand that I may not be the most vocal or well-known player, but I hope that my maturity and history of behavior (no forum warnings or bans) can attest to my dedication to this community.  I do not mind moderating - it is not a chore, but simply a way to give back.

Anything else you'd like to mention?:

I hope you truly consider this application.  It sometimes seems that when a community member is not outspoken, or known, they are not given the same chance as those who are the most vocal and supported.  I genuinely wish to help this community through this position - to keep the flame wars down, to assist those who may not understand the forums, and to ultimately keep this website organized and safe for everybody who wishes to use it.  Thank you.

Edit 8/18/2015:  Still interested in helping out!

  6. A Thesis on the Natural World and the Creator

Many men today, while pious men, consume the Lord’s creations and horde them with unnecessary and unholy purpose.  The words of the Lord speak against their actions as they continue the excessive destruction of the natural world.  It is time for those who devour His creations to alter their path of choice, less they want to defy and anger the Lord Himself.

For the Lord created man and the abundance of this world, He also breathed life into all the beasts of the earth.  He placed thy groves of trees and vegetation, and hath raised the high mountains.  It is unholy to belligerently destroy these creations of the Lord, as His divine grace suffuses all things.  While man must not worship these creations, as the unholy do, he must show respect and appreciate everything the Lord hath made.

It is not told by the Lord, however, that man must suffer while His creations may provide a comfortable existence.  The Lord does command, however, that man shall not covet the wealth of the world and His garden of abundance.  Man must gather by necessity, not greed, and thus must preserve that which is not required.  The woodsman may fell trees to live a well life, but he must not exterminate the forest only to stack His creations idly.  The huntsman may slay the wildlife to stave off starvation, yet he must not massacre the Lord’s beings wastefully and leave them to rot in neglect.  The Lord commands against excess consumption of His creations, for man is only to covet the wealth of the spirit.

The natural world and mankind were both created by His grace, and man must only use His creations of divine grace in utmost restraint and necessity – less thee wishes to ravage thy dear inventions of the Lord God and contravene His most holy injunctions.
