We used to be able to take wool and put it in our crafting, then turn it into string. Why was that taken out?

Would it be possible to re-add the recipe for turning white linen into string?  This would be useful so we don't have to run around killing spiders for it.

Edit:  After killing a few spiders, they do not drop string either, so there is currently no way to obtain string.

Some people in the halfling chat recently discovered a world download of Anthos from early 2013 (around May).  Just download, unzip, and put it in your saves folder. Have fun with the nostalgia.

I would just like to thank the organizers/programmers of the plague.  This is a wonderful break from the pvp, war, and conflict rp that has been the focus of the server for quite some time now, and has been extremely enjoyable.  Again, this was a great idea, and thanks for the work put into it.

I like the idea- anything to help the lack of raiding/fighting rp is good in my opinion.

Wrote a few paragraphs for you guys.  Hopefully you take the time to look at the content and actually take it into consideration.  The questions were also much better than in the past, so keep that up.

All the hatred and hostile rivalry in this thread is disappointing.  We should be working together and making constructive posts to solve a problem instead of degrading each other.

But it does matter, as this is a battle event, and no battle event should have the elements we have discussed.

Another thing that us fighters have noticed with tonight's battles is how the antags are being item-hungry/pvp hungry, instead of trying to create a good event.  Some examples are killing us instantly instead of giving our allies a chance to revive us, or chasing us even when we realized we have lost and are returning to our camps.  This does not apply to all of the antags, as for the most part the battles have been wonderful; however, tonight's battles tell a different story.  I thought that they were supposed to provide a fun battle scene for us players, unless I am wrong.  Again, this applies to specifically tonight's battles.
