    Republic of Spain

Spain, a beautiful land filled with women, wine, and culture. Everything seemed calm, laid back even. But not was all as it seemed to the public eye. A multi-party system government, it was diverse and fractured. Historically secessionist provinces like Catalonia and Navarre had been gaining more and more seats as their population grows. Rubbing shoulders with these radicals was the religious group known as the 'Mano de Dios'. They had the backing of the rural people, always and always will be devote catholics. The organized Spanish church backed them, and helped bribe members of Mano de Dios into the government. Stern allies of the godly men was the army, conservative to the bone. That could be said for the officers at least, many soldiers were also young visionaries. Communist had a huge standing in the people of the city and factories, along with the common man. They were in an alliance to counteract the conservatives, with the anarchist and socialist.

All this powder has been fit into a nation sized keg, just waiting for a spark. Thankfully, Spain was not a land of complete idiots. People could see the value in a republic. Those same people could also see values in an end to it as well. It was on the fence, a nation of people scared and confused. Some took advantage of that, picking up and oh so subtle undercurrents. They manipulated and guided, moving their factions into power. Other men however were more godly, more human.

Men like president Martin Garcias, moderates who upheld the Republic's ideals and values. Every party could agree on one thing with Mr. Garcias, he was a good spaniard. That saying itself was open to interpretation, and so was his true allegiance. He made the presidency however by following no one party. He worked with every party, and tried to reach goals with everyone. His victory was narrow however, and his biggest opponent was Miguel Fernandez, an army general and member of the catholic church. Fernandez left Spain in disgust at the elections, to his estates in the Canary Isles.

Garcias has recently gained a following, large enough to gain seats in parliament. Los Españoles were a party of moderates who were nationalist to the bone. They wanted to see the Republic remain alive, and run the way it was meant to be. They were the less quarrelsome party, and always tried for compromise. Mano de Dios and other members often respected them, but were reluctant to work with the presidents party. Most factions pushed for their own goals, and power within their party. Some cities were armed camps, some provinces were festering with rebellion and anarchist. It was all so bad, yet Spain had hope.

Martin sighed and rubbed his temples. In his humble office, a few minutes walk from the palace. The room was sheeted in burnished copper, and decorated sparsely. Not much would catch the eye, besides a U.S law school diploma, antique revolver, pictures of his beautiful wife, the large leather backed chair Martin sat in, and Martin himself. He was young and eager, only thirty. Standing at six nine, his prematurely grey hair and striking black eyes were quite attractive. He was not strong, but had a wiry presence to him. His true traits were force of character and an intelligent standing. Standing before him was his once friend and vice president Panzo.

"Mr president, parliament just held a session. Half way in the socialist got into a shouting match with the army. The session was ended when they both stormed out. Reports say afte-"

"That'll certainly be enough, Panzo" Martin cuts him off with his deep baratone voice.

"We can try to fix one thing at least, mend the pain between the two."

Leaning back and folding his hands, Martin glances at the revolver. Giving a slight shake of his head, he continues.

"Open up the army for recruitment, try to appeal to the common man, and all the liberal parties. We'll need communist and anarchist -though I hate to say it- to cool the armies heads. At the very least it'll cause a split that we can use to our advantage."

    Long hours go on, as Martin subtly manipulates the parliament. He keeps an open appearance in public, and is indeed genuinely so. However he is a Spaniard, and will do the best for the country and it's people, not one single faction or government. His orders begin to worm their way through the system, including;

The army begins to recruit more heavily on younger men and liberals, drawing in a different crowd.

Social programs increase, trying to educate the people of Spain separate from the churches teaching.

Cities start to gain liberties for all classes, in an attempt to ease tensions.

    Republic of Andor

Things were looking rather bleak in the tiny mountain republic. Morgase Trakand stayed cooped up in her tower, planning, always planning. The balance of order hung on a knife's edge, and anything could tip it either way. For now their recently emerged neighbors are ignored. They were probably puppets, to be manipulated by Morgase's true enemy. However she hoped they would end this violence, she was not one for war.

And so, the Tazmund raiding navy is let off scotch free. Besides giving back the stolen 5,000 dubloons, and captured villagers. They would also have to pay reparations in the form of 1,000 dubloons. Morgase insist a non aggression pact is signed, so they don't waste their strength on each other.

As for the Kuanesh, the fighting does not escalate. That would just lead to more death, and a lot of fertilizer for the jungle trees. Morgase knew she was not totally lost if it was to come to wars. Those curs could be beat if they tried hard enough. Atheist, Andorans believed in logic more then any superstitious fears or hopes. It was logical to end the violence before anything got worse, not to hope to win a war. And so, the Andorans send a ambassadorial Zeppelin group to Kuanesh.

With eight newly made Andoran battle zeppelins, and three royal transports, they made a stately procession. The battle zeppelins had protected hulls and balloons, making it much harder to kill. They could be outfitted with bomb bays, or keep their rotational anti air guns on the main deck. So far the only two types finalized were the bomber and standard fighter, but great thinkers were working. The model researched was not a specific type, but a frame upon which to build multiple types. The parts were cunning, the initial zeppelins having complex parts only made in Andor.

The Queen's royal advisor, twelve senators, five Dragoon officers, twelve army officers, twenty commoners, and one very scared ape made up the procession. They broadcasted their message of peace ahead, and asked to meet the Kuanesh government in person. They would allow to be stopped before the meeting to be throughly checked for weapons. The Andoran senate and Queen wished to have peace, and would be willing to work with the Kuanesh to a lesser extent. They would not bow, or agree with any outrageous terms. Peace and partnership was what was wanted.

The Andorans had been preparing for a big event, and that was now. Three separate large scaled expeditions are sent. The Andorans were dispatching large convoys of Zeppelins, to transplant colonies to the east coast of Amerigo. The middle colony would be the largest expedition. Eight thousand soldiers and one thousand Dragoons are sent with the colonist to ensure it would not fall out of Andoran hands. The two colonies in the north and south would be smaller, with three thousand troops and five hundred Dragoons to complement them. The three expeditions would not just travel in huge vulnerable masses. They would instead travel in smaller convoys, protected by battle zeppelins. Soldiers would arrive first, them colonist, then all the supplies and building material. They would travel the slower but safe route north. (Pok Plz)

  4. Battle Post

The Andorans heard about the raiding force almost as soon as the raiders neared their waters. Thanks to scouting Zeppelins, they always had an updated picture of what's going on around their nation. The navy was allowed to slink to their coast, and raid villages of no tactical value. This gave the Queen the time she needs to muster a proper response. From two nearby coastal cities, one thousand Republican People's Army units are dispatched. From the capital itself, two thousand elite dragoons are sent by Zeppelin. Following them are twelve zeppelins, custom built for ship killing.

The four thousand men would join together, and move stealthily through the jungle. They would try to ambush the troops  preoccupied with raiding, and drive them to the beach. If the troops tried to flee onto the transports or ships, the bomber zeppelins would swoop in. They would be vulnerable at a standstill picking up troops, and the ships would be bombed quickly if they do that. It was a larger group of sailors and a complement of troops fighting four thousand elite troops on their home land, the battle could go anyway.

As for the Tazmun ships in Andoran waters, they had no zeppelins or scouts sent out. They would not be able to tell the fifteen strong Andoran navy and twelve more zeppelin bombers were behind them. Retreating from the loss/victory of the island chain, they had blood on their minds. The five other ships of Andor had merged with them. The navy would expand into a crescent, and hammer into the Tazmun. The twenty four bombers would sink low, to ensure critical hits. The eight thousand troops that were evacuated form the island are mainly kept away. However three thousand of them are landed nearby, to act as a reserve. In the crucial pint of battle, they would charge in to tip the scale.

When the Tazlund raiders are driven to their last molecule of resistance, they are given an offer directly from the queen.

"Unlike the Kuanesh, my word is good. You can believe what i say. I shall let your troops escape unhindered, provided they give the loot they acquired back. Your navy will be allowed to pick up the troops, and leave scotch free. In return for your failed expedition's lives, I demand one dreadnought, a cruiser, two frigates, and four corvettes. If you refuse then your entire navy and troop complement will die for nothing. I also demand a non aggression pact to be signed, to end tis."

The Zeppelin Factory is completed, and production begins on Andoran customizable battle zeppelins.

    Republic of Andor

The Anodrans had drawn first blood, and that's what the Queen wished. Instead of chasing the ships that escape, the navy is immediately ordered back. They still had a few days if not more ahead of the coming Kuanesh fleet. Zeppelins keeping an eye out in the sky plotted the best course for the navy to escape. Zeppelins from the mainland start to evacuate RPA from the Andoran island. The Transports would slow the navy down, and are left behind. The Kuanesh on the other hand would have to go as slow as their transports or risk leaving them undefended. The southernmost island is formally abandoned by Andor. They instead pass title of ownership to the Empire of Oceanis, free of charge.

In the mainland, the senate passes a new levy of troops. Calling from city militias, a full five thousand new troops are recruited. This would bring the Republican People's Army to fifteen thousand men. The Dragoons corp could boast a multitude of zeppelins, and five thousand troops. The Andoran army was small, but it's well led, trained, supplied, and organized. Andoran officers attend war colleges, and are naturally charismatic and cunning. Others may have large armies of power, but the Andorans have a very small and very elite army.

Four thousand RPA and one thousand Dragoons load onto zeppelins. The Republic would begin to expand it's influence further inland on the continent. Not having to be slowed by traveling through the thick jungles, they could just hop from population center to population center. Who knew what they'd find deep in the jungle. (Mod plz.)

Work continues of a national stock exchange and Zeppelin factory. The canal also continues as planned, running smoothly. Throughout every Andor city, factories ramp up production. They are preparing for a huge event, but for now that event is kept hidden.....

The United Kingdom of Windsoria's trade pact is accepted. Andor's main exports were jungle wood, gold and silver, glass pieces, and nifty inventions for entertainment or utility purposes. The Queen wishes to have a meeting, to talk further.

  6. (Shitty phone post inbound)

The Andorans were not all deployed on the island. They had only sent a small party of diplomats, ambassadors, translators, and a small escort of twenty dragoons. The rest were high in the sky, watching the treachery unfold. Reports are immediately sent back to the Queen and Senate.

The time to act would have to be now. It would take weeks at best for the Kuanesh to get their five thousand marines and war ships ready and going. Unknown to the five ships meanacing the expedition, was the Andoran fleet. The queen had sent fifteen ships and eight thousand RPA behind the expedition, to stiffen the southern most island. Days instead of weeks away, they could react quicker.

With no zeppelins or ships patrolling, the Kuanesh are effectively blind. The Andorans Zeppelins ensured they would focus elsewhere. And finally the battle would commence. Fifteen Ships in battle formation appear from the blue, gunning for the five Kuanesh war ships. The twelve Andorans zeppelins would drop bombs from a safe distance, trying to do what they could. The eight thousand men remain on the southern isle.

The Tazman raiding parties would be disappointed with their raid (probably). Besides heavily defended coastal cities, the people of Andor lived deep in the jungles on their mountain cities. Zeppelins patrols would forwarn the coast, ensuring that a unified response would meet the raid. Quickly dispatched from the Queens tower were two thousand dragoons, easily making the time on racer zeppelins.

Production begins on a Zeppelin factory, capable of building specially researched and regular Zeppelin models. (Mod for approval and cost?)

The Empire of Oceanis is warned of the Pacific marauders, they're offered a military alliance to help stay unified against the upjumped pirates.

    Republic of Andor

    ((Mod ruling hizzle))

The Queen's expedition to the southern most isle of the three chain was a complete success. The island was inhabited only with locals, who allowed Andor to set up a trading post. Eventually full control of the island would be complete. With the eight thousand RPA (Republican People's Army) coming to stiffen defenses, the outcast was good. Unfortunately for Andor, the same smooth operation on the northernmost island worked for Kuanesh. The two nations easily grabbed the island closest to them. However, the Queen ordered her troops to take the middle island too. Not knowing it was a Kuanesh war goal, the two forces would meet at the middle island. In an awkward standoff, Andoran zeppelins float up to a safe distance from any guns. Waiting to see what would happen, the two different detachments face eachother.

The Kuanesh trying to expand into the Pacific would hear harrowing reports of pirates in the pacific. They could chose to not believe it and keep going, or stay off.

The Republic was world renown for it's garish parties and hungry appetites for pleasure. Many would refer to a promiscuous women as "As fickle as an adorman." The republicans did not care though, they enjoyed life too much. Using Kaf, which is a pungent herb as a drug. It could be distilled into tea or burned for it's aroma and effects. This trade helped Andorans, but also helped blow off steam.

With all this back round knowledge, the Emperor of Oceanis is invited to the republic's capital of Caemelyn for a huge celebration. They would commemorate the Queen's nameday, the building of the canal, and closer relations with Oceanis. The celebrations would be wild and last a week. A racing zeppelin with a heavy escort is dispatched to pick up the Emperor. The Queen also hopes to meet him face to face, to judge his character....

National trade hubs have been finished, and with it money begins to flow more easily. The Bull's adaptable battle zeppelins are also nearing completion. The Canal will take another year, but the revenues from it will be on par with a national trade hub. Oceanis engineers are brought in, as the two nations co build the canal. It is made clear however that the canal belongs to the Republic. Oceanis however will receive a yearly royalty from the canal's taxes. They can also trade through it tax free and use it for any military movement.

The Queen's Dragoons receive a total overhaul. Four thousand recruits are added to their numbers. They are the best troops in the Republic, though it's entire army is notoriously small. They don't need numbers to win however, not when they have skills, technology, and trained officers on their side.

    Republic of Andor

"Now children, be still and listen!" mistress Lini said in a stern but warm voice. The three sat amidst the glass gardens in a wing of the Queen's palace. Lini, and her two charges for the day. Elayne and Gawyn Trakand were a year apart, Gawyn being the older of fourteen.

"Now, who brought together the Republic as we know it today?"

Elayne chimed in, eager to make amends. "Egwene Trakand, the noble lady!"

"Good, and how, why, and what did she create?"

Not it was Gawyns turn to speak; "The merchants of the cities put wealth before their people. They worked them hard for little to nothing, and then some. They bought all the senators, to draft their wretched laws. They hired foreign mercenaries to oppress our people, customarily peaceful. Money was not spared for our people, and the poor began to starve. Artisans and scholars could not afford themselves, and knowledge crumbled."

Elayne took up where he left off. "And then one of the nobles, our ancestor Egwene, rallied her noble friends. They traveled through the mountains, where the merchants grip was weak. Raising an army, they waited. The common people of Andor rose against the merchants, and Egwene marched with them."

"And a war so bloody ensued we will not talk about it" Lini put in. "And how did house Trakand and the common people ensure our Republic as it is today?"

Elayne finished the lesson; "As a noble, Egwene claimed the right to Queen hood. But to ensure the Republics ideals stayed true, the nation would stay a Republic. The monarchy is an institution of the republic, not above it, but apart of it. The Senators were still rich merchants true, but moderate Trakands have always been there to keep them in check. It is a balance of two forces, ensuring mutual interest in peace. All politics happen in the capital, ensuring a centralized government."

"Not to mention the people's house" Gawyn added. "They have the power of not being focused in Camelyn. Smaller town and city councils, governing their counties of the republic. They can gather at Camelyn however to decide large votes."

"That's enough for today children, go play. And give your mother a warm welcome, she has a long day ahead of her..."

    ~~

Morgase Trakand, Queen of Andor, was very excited. Staring at a painting of her great ancestor, Egwene, she felt a strength radiate from the women. Things were going as planned, and the treasury was bursting. Just yesterday national trade hubs began being built throughout the nation. Harnessing the rich jungle wood of the Inner land, the gold mines along Camelyn, and the coast rich with fish. But the true beauty of Andor lay in it's craftsmen, scholars, artisans, and great thinkers. The Senate and Queen alike bought up surplus food from farmers, and distributed it to the poor and artisans. Many a skilled person could find patronage in Camelyn, and the innovations were grand. Glass blowers rubbed shoulders with carpet weavers, while goldsmiths strut about with a arrogant air. Toy makers show off their latest trinkets, a Zeppelin ballon that could float off some sort of gas. A hat salesman fitted a scholar's head, the man deeply embedded in a book on the aerodynamics of flight.

Morgase was excited for the improvements to the economy, but not entirely that. Her true passion was that of the skies. Camelyn itself lay amidst the large mountains of the inner continent. Rich valleys were strewn in between the mountains, filled with jungle. The city was perched on mountains peaks, connected with bridges and floating docks. Terraced farm land worked it's way up the mountain side, along with whole districts of craftsmen. The Queen's Palace stood on a mountain central of the city. The highest peak, a great dye maker had colored the stone in rainbow streaks. A large tower more then palace, it rose splendidly into the air. Housing was large, dozens of artist, scholars, and innovators under patronage of the queen. The only way to reach the city was by Zeppelin, cable car, or a long hike.

An innovator had made Morgase truly why she was excited. Zeppelins were already a failing commodity in the world. But not in Andor, they had indeed flourished. Always easier to go over jungle then through it, Zeppelins are the main form of transportation. As the market grew so did the quality. Zeppelins were more refined, cheaply carrying people and goods. They have been around for years, different types being made. But John Bull had made the first zeppelin purely for military.

    Invention Type (Military/Civilian/Etc): Military
    Invention Name: Bulls
    Inventor: John Bull
Description (At least a DETAILED paragraph):  Zeppelins for commercial and civilian use are common in the republic. But never was one used for purely military until now. Bulls are small ship shaped versions of larger zeppelins. Almost like a galleon in the sky, the hulls are lightly reinforced with steel. The balloons are also reinforced with a endurable material, and are made strong enough to carry the extra weight. Turbines powered by strong electric batteries and coal stoves power the maneuvering turbines. The turbines were the true masterpieces, allowing the Bulls to actually maneuver well in the skies. The only crew needed is a captain, two gunners, and an engineer. There was no comfortable sleeping quarters or cargo hold, instead a empty room to house the engine, and eight uncomfortable dragoons. Guns consist of five water cooled pepper guns. The engineer was also responsible for dropping payloads of cluster bombs.

The Republic of Andor was that of great thinkers and artist. Their army was not seen as a tool of state. It was to ensure the safety of the people first and foremost, and the unity of the Republic. The Republican Regiments were the main army. They were the majority of the troops in the Republic's disposal. Mainly of common folk, adventurers, mercenaries, and nobles, they were small in size. Ten thousand strong, they were in honored positions. The army was kept small on purpose to be highly organized, led, and trained. These men were disciplined, and led by officers trained in the war colleges of Camelyn. The Republic's army would always be small, but tried to make up for it in advantages and skill.

The Queen's Dragoons were the core of the army. One thousand strong, these men were adventurers or noblemen. They were a fierce and capacious lot, but highly disciplined. They travelled about in zeppelins, being wherever the queen needs them.

post-535-1184014369.jpgAn expedition is sent to an island. Twelve Zeppelins fly to it, carrying ten diplomats, five translators, a senator, and one hundred Dragoons. A steamship detachment carrying a more hefty force of eight thousand Republican regiments head out much slower. The diplomats would try to arrange for a peaceful establishment of a trade post. 10. Nation Name: Republic of Andor

    Culture(ie. Latin influence/Asian Influence/Etc.): Latin American/English

    History:

The Republic of Andor popped into existence about one hundred and fifty years before the age of electric. On the continent of Truncatis, they had remained safe within the rich valleys and mountainous rain forest. Their cities and hamlets were scattered along the coast and in the very mountainous regions. Straddling to the west and east of the land bridge to Oceanis. The republic was a industrious nation of thinkers and merchants. Resources were available with the right amount of skill, and the people were of a medium population. Their main trade was that of fine galleys, made out of jungle wood. They could carry cargo or troops alike, but were susceptible collapsing to stormy seas. As the Republic solidified after years of secession wars, a ruling family came out on top. They were not victorious through a coup, but a peoples revolution. The Rich bourgeois had ruled through wealth from their city companies. Andoran thinkers and commoners were being pushed aside for wealth. House Trakand was one of the few nobles of any importance in the Republic. Nobles meant little to republican politics, but they still came to lead. Fighting the mercenaries of the merchants, the cities were taken by revolutionary city folk. And the electric age ushered in a new age. House Trakand became a royal dynasty, with a republic senate sitting to help rule. They played a game of advantage, though the moderate Trakands always kept unity, fearing a civil war tearing them apart. Scholars flourished under patrons, and the innovations were splendid.

  11. Aiel

Rand Al'Thor crouched amongst a crop of low boulders. He and his men had come here for a very special reason. At least one of his scouts has borne fruit. They had run all the way back, making it in a day when others would take two. Rand had to come at once, and he assembled his honor guard. With troll pelts worn like a sash, unnaturally tall, dark harrowing eyes, and the certainty that they knew how to use their spears. Telling the scouts to rest, he and his peculiar party set out.

And that's how he found himself hiding amidst boulders. Behind Rand was his party that had confused the whole clan. For he had eight maidens with him, the warrior caste of the female Aiel. With them were his fifty man honor guard. The rest of the clan had been ordered to follow Rand's advance at a slower pace. But why all this commotion?

Because the scouts had found an alarming but all the same jewel. A hold, the Aiel would see it as. To other eyes it would be that fortress nestled against the mountain. But these people have violated the Aiel culture, and were not Aiel to boot. These things have built permanent structures on a natural hold. They only things acceptable in the Aiel's religious holds are things that bear life.

So here Rand is , proudly walking up to the gates with the eight maidens and ten of his honor guard. Speaking in the common human tongue instead of the Aiel dialect, Rand bellows.

"Hello there strange folk! I am Rand Al'Thor, Clan chief of the coldwater sept. We are a peaceful people, but must fight trolls when they raid are poor folk. So I have come here to make a simple request! I would like to trade with your people, send a party to me and we can exchange goods."

Turning to his maidens and grinning wolfishly, Rand winks knowing the fortress men couldn't see that.

"And I offer you eight of my clan's most beautiful and genteel women folk. They are gifts, to act as servants, or what ever you desire. Now please, let us trade!"

Rand would hope the people would come the trade and talk. Not to attack, merely to get a measure of what he was going to kill. This was like any other hunt, just with a more complex prey. If the women are taken inside, one would try to escape. Aiel were better at fighting, stealth, and stamina then most humans, and hopefully a maiden could make it past the walls. If she does, she'd do it and night and sneak back to Rand to give a report on the inside of the walls. The forty troops Rand did not reveal to the fort are making their way up the other side of the mountain. The Aiel lived in mountains, and had to frequently travel through them. This mountain would prove no difference as the Aiel quietly position themselves above the fort in the mountains. ((Mod please))

Research goes into a set of clothes that could easily pick up the colors of the terrain an Aiel will be in by being lightly colored, and having nets to add sticks and rocks, etc to conceal them better. ((Mod pending for Camouflage.))

  12. Aiel

Clan chief of the the coldwater hold Rand Al'Thor grunted sourly. They had only managed to kill two trolls today, a measly number for Aiel. The two would be harvested for their skin, excellent for giving tents a sturdy is smelly cover. Their bones were hard as iron, and would be crafted into weapons. It was not uncommon to see many Aiel wearing jewelry made of the bones of their vanquished foes. The Aiel gathered to return to their hold, the loot in multiple back-cloths. Living in the savannah and desert, the Aiel had built an extreme resistance. They could run faster and longer then any other human, a perk many underestimate. Moving in a line, Rand and his twenty hunters make good time running. Returning before the sun is even down, cries of greeting rise to meet him and his men.

Quin was a boy of ten, but already taller then most humans. The common Aiel makeup of fair hair and dark eyes did not touch this boy. He had deep violet eyes, ones that looked better suited to a wise man. Studying the hunters striding in proudly, only one caught his eye. Clan chief Rand Al'Thor was tall, even amongst Aiel standards. His bald head and unflinching grey eyes unsettled most. Muscle rippled down his legs and calfs, but not in an overbearing way. He seemed unsettled.. had the hunt gone wrong?

Rand angrily shoved the flap of the tent aside as he waled in. Soriela looked up, clearly annoyed. The clan's wise women, she tended to the sick and old, gathered herbs, counsels the chief, and helps prepare dishes for Thars. Though there was rarely sick or old Aiel, they were to costly to keep alive. Those often found themselves outcast, too weak to contribute to the clan so they must die for it.

"The hunt went wrong from the start!" Rand almost roared. "We caught the two we wanted, but didn't even know there was a close separate pack until they were long gone. My scouts picked up their tracks three minutes cold, they're going soft. Soriela, I ask that you find me a way to be more alert, my men can only handle so many task. We need a way to guard our camp without posting sentries."

Merely waving off Rand -she had that power- Soriela finishes her embroidery. It was a wonderful image of what the Aiel perceived the world as, never ending and flat. It showed countless scenes of the Aiel's travels, and of their many tragedies. A week later she decided to see to the Chief's request. More recently as times grew tough, blood wolves were sitting just outside the Aiel's camps. Not threatening they merely watched, ribs poking through their once luxuriant manes. Slowly starting to feed them and get closer, Soriela tried to feed the blood wolves and get them used to humans. She would try to slowly domesticate the blood wolves, who knew what could come of it? ((Mod approval pending))

Two months from that point, Quin gingerly asked for an audience with the chief.

"And what do you want boy?" Rand growled.

"Um, Ra-, my cheif, th- u- what I'-" Quin just couldn't spit it out.

    "SPIT IT OUT BOY"

"Iv'e noticed we can't store any meat we get from the hunts, this means we can't have a reliable fall back. My Chief! w-w-we should find a way to make it storable, so we can always have a fall back!"

Rand noticed Quin with a new eye, and sent him away. He would not forget about that boy. The Aiel try to find a way to cure their meats for long term storage. (Salting, smoking, something. Pending mod approval.)

Two war parties set out from where the Aiel are currently camped. Each composing of thirty men and women, they would set out north and west. They would look for merchant convoys, small hamlets, or even tiny villages. They would raid it and kill any who resist, but try to keep as many strong ones alive as possible for slaves. They would hopefully add these slaves to their population. A third party of ten Aiel use their hard learned stealth tactics. They would search for a small town that could be raided. ((Mod please))

The Aiel lived in large communal groups. All closely or somewhat related, they were all tight knit though the struggle for survival. They were nomads, roaming the great savannas, deserts, and mountain ranges. They were taller then any human, and even some fey races. They were also the best human warriors, their life a constant fight for survival making them tough. Sick and old were cast out to die, too weak to bother with. They always moved, killing and eating what would do the same to them. Holds were their spiritual centers. Natural places for life and water, large gardens were all that are permanent. Aiel tribes could only stay in holds in times of great need or the ceremony of raising a new chief. Otherwise they were always moving. Women fought alongside the men, no one could put down a spear in a time of need. Every year on the first day of summer, a Thar is held, a religious ceremony and feast.

    Secret Words: NO MAGIC

    Race Name: Aiel
    Settled or Nomadic: Nomadic
Brief Description: Aiel are hardened human hunters. Living in deadly and hot temperatures, survival is very harsh. They have adapted to lack of water, and distinct surplus of deadly creatures. This leads to a much lower survival rate, but is viewed as winnowing the weak ones out.  Typically very tall then even some fey races, Aielmen tower over most people. They live off of killing animals that would otherwise kill them. An Aiel also never rejects a chance to raid a close settlement.

(I'd like to clamor for Nomadic rights. I think like one other person is a nomad,. I'm not asking for distinct advantages but consider we chose Nomad rp but settled people have a very high advantage over us.

    United American Empire

    ~Edited Version~

The American Emperor was horrified. The South American Federation had used their dominance in space to ruin them. Though they had kinetic shield pylons, the bombardment was a sustained and brutal assault. Eventually the shields gave up, and the Empire was vulnerable. Nuclear facilities blew up across North America, ravaging the land. The total cost of damage was hard toe estimate, as whole cities are wiped from the slate.

Thankfully some places were spared, such as the islands of Cuba and Jamaica. The southern part of the empire is still torn, but not completely collapsed. The invasion continues against the SAF, the Empire wanting revenge. Troops pour through the gaps Hera made, killing the retreating SAF troops. They were well equipped however, and exacted a hard toll on the Americans.Tens of thousands of drop troops go in behind their lines, with the skies clear. They halt reinforcements needed on the lines, buying the Empire time. Whole regiments are wiped by the bombardment however.

The large navy heads for the Federation's coast, hoping to smash them in an open sea battle.

  15. War Post

In South America, the American armies halted when they met the stern resistance. They could not easily break the border defenses as planned. Not to be deterred, their strategy changes quickly. Tali fighters with kinetic shielding dodge through the AA, delivering their payloads. Other fighters and bombers though shielded are not so lucky, and take losses. American artillery is massed in a few points along the line, and defended by kinetic shields that could be activated. Dueling with the Federation artillery stretched across the whole border, they would hopefully make progress. They would begin to soften these points, weakening the line. Tali's equipped with napalm burn the forest down in front of the American's lines. This would clear the fields, allowing the special Mobile Infantry to work well. The fires would spread, hopefully into the Federation's lines. Taking precautions, lumber is cleared around the Americans. American troops being to creep forward all across the line, skirmishing. Keeping the Federations heads down, troop build up begins safely behind the lines. Rail-gun tanks and their regular cousins roam the line, sniping at any fortified positions they could reach.

Dominion drop ships come screaming down into Federation lines being weakened by artillery. With kinetic shielding, heavy armor, and surprise, they could hopefully get most of the men through. Any that got through would peel open, and Dominion Death Korpsmen would pour out. With handheld rail-guns, cybernetic weapon and limb implants, and brain chips, they were formidable special forces. Interspersed with them were American Mobile Infantry, blazing away with their rail-guns and needle rifles.

Assuming all ran well, the American army made the first opening move of the real battle. After being ravaged by artillery and special forces, American mobile infantry would rush across the plains. Having previously prepared and built up, they would rush across the space. Hoping to reach the weak points in the lines before the Federation could reinforce them, the Mobile Infantry would lead the way. Behind them came waves of regular troops, Dominion forces, and state militia. Amongst this one million man assault, came the Dominion's treasure trove of tech. Terminators cleared swathes of troops before being shot to bits. Rail-gun tanks dueled Federation tanks, or massacred troops. REX's and EMU's focused on defensive positions, cracking open bunkers. Mobile Infantry with jetpacks or active cloaking snuck through the chaos, appearing out of nowhere and killing Federation troops. Argentinean light assault vehicles went with the Mobile Infantry, providing extra fire power. Healing nanites flowed through the battle, saving soldiers lives. Brightsword combat drones protected officers, or were in the thick of the fight.

The American space fleet avoids conflict with the Argentineans. They flee farther out of the system. The American space station is sabotaged on purpose. Hoping to crash it into one of the Mars colonies, any would work.

Most of the troops in Britain and Germany disobey the Emperor's orders. They instead offer their hand to the respective nations.

    United American Empire

    -One year ago-

The American Emperor was isolated in his palace, safe. He had ordered his guards out of his chambers, to keep the quiet. Opening the blast shutter to his safe room, the Emperor strides in. A completely defended square box, it was the safest place in the Empire. Shut off completely to the world, no one could enter here without the Emperor. Except for one, the most powerful being in the system. Getting onto his knees, the Emperor stares at a large computer. Giving off a grainy hologram of static, the Emperor prays to his christian god for the last time. Shuddering, he clasp his hands together under his robes. Near sobbing with joy, he whispers one word. One word so faint even he almost didn't hear it. So quiet, as if he was scared to say a simple word. But what did he say? What caused an Emperor of the strongest empire in the world to tremble?

    "Hera?"

    -Present Day-

"My people!" The emperor roars to his audience. Millions cheer, almost the entire Empire was watching his latest speech on Hera.

"Hera has shown her true genius, Europe is at it's knees! We did what we could, but our lot is the losing side. It is too strong, it's armies legion. Hera has for some reason spared our men, they are sitting on their thumbs safe. Not for long though! For I have made a choice for our entire people. One that will see us to the highest pedestal of glory. Our United American Empire will truly unite all of America, as we have planned from the start. With Imperial Hall dissolved, and the army in my hand, the choice is mine. And what is that choice? WAR!"

The crowd is immensely confused, but they still cheer out of devotion.

The American Freedom Fighter army in Europe however was not confused about their orders. The time to strike is now. The order is passed down from the Emperor, one so horrible some army units downright refused. Enough listened however, enough to see the downfall of Europe. In England, demo teams sent to destroy the euro tunnel didn't even bother. Instead they kill the British engineers with them, and hole up on both sides. They open the way for Hera's forces. The rest of the American troops in Britain had been spread into every key country and city garrison. Marching from their garrisons to slaughter and cause confusion, they would be a thorn in the Britts collective sides.

In Spain, the Emperor had cleverly moved all loyal Iberian troops out to reinforce Britain. All that was left were militias and small army units. Certainly no match for half a million American forces, they engage in vicious battles to take the cities. Mainly staged in Toledo, the army spreads out like a cancer. The two hundred and fifty thousand troops in the Pyrenees open the way for Hera's forces through the mountains.

In Canada, the order to advance is given. Two million men spearhead north, in a hope to snap Canada in two. The million men in the north west isles land on Canadian shores. Hit from two sides, the war was bound to be brutal and quick. The American navy in Canada heads to besiege the Falkland isles.

In the Mediterranean the massive American navy picks up its half a million men. Scattering into different groups, they set off to take all the Mediterranean isles.

In South America, the one million men in Columbia smash into Ecuador. The Australians wouldn't expect their ally to attack, and had no defenses in the north. Tali fighters would ensure air supremacy as the army set forward. In Brazil Four million troops hit the South American Federations borders, in an attempt to snap their border troops and steam in before they can fully react. The American Empire announces common cause with the West Andean Confederation.

The sixty thousand troops in Austria all dedicate themselves to attack on the German defenses guarding the mountain passes.

  17. Another Quick Space Post

American Empire BATS are immediately dispatched after a weak signal is picked up by the Redon ship. Soaring majestically through space, they caught the strong solar wind. They were able to move faster and for much longer then other nations. Kinetic shields on, when they get to their location and merely hover. Studying the ship, testing it with sensors, and general scientific study would begin. They would try to paint a picture of the ship, and find out about it.

They were immobilized and damaged, and the American Empire would be the first there. Carrying small complements of cargo, it was given over to humans. The message was relayed through the Empire's space station. They sent a engineer, scientist, farmer, diplomat, and solider with the BATS. They would come in close, hopefully having previously found a way to enter the alien ship.

Never one to speak over a system, the party went for a face to face meeting. The party will boldly try to enter the Alien ship, and say one sentence in English.

"And what do we have here?"

    United American Empire

The Emperor was just given the request to oversee command of Britain's commonwealth high command. Hoping to prove his merit, immediate orders are given. American demolitionist head to the Eurotunnel, to blow the last weak link to England. Alongside this the coastal defenses are improved and passed. They were nigh on a solid wall of guns, and would easily repel any conventional attack. American engineers begin to construct their new kinetic shields. Large pylons are set up in heavily defended installations, to protect coastal artillery. Deeming it not enough, the Emperor draws a second line. Way more inland, it was a failsafe in case the coast falls. Primarily composed of the Australian troops, British special forces, and home guard. They would establish trench lines, stiffening it with defensive positions. Tank depots stand ready to spew out a quick reaction force. All throughout the British isles American Mobile Infantry are dropped in. They would garrison the entire breath of the isles. This would mean England had a quick reaction force to hit any threat where it appears.

Humanity needed a victory against Hera. In accordance with the British navy, the American's small european fleet heads in new directions. Safely escorting the half a million troops to Iberia, they head north. Meeting British ships on the way, their exact destination is the south west coast of France. Refugees were flocking to the coast and cities, hoping for some way to escape. With large American WHALE transports, they could hopefully evacuate them. The navy defending the transports stands ready to fight....

In Iberia the army continues to seal up the Pyrenees mountains. Passes are collapsed, except for a scant few to collect the refugees flooding into Iberia. The recently arrived American army establishes itself in Toledo, and awaits further orders. In an attempt to bolster the defenses in England, the Iberian home guard and Royal army in Iberia begins transport to England. The Americans would do the fighting in Iberia, and the Emperor hopes they did well. In Brazil and Columbia the army is fully ready. They begin to clear the jungles of Hera cultist. Two hundred and fifty thousand troops are moved to Cuba. A further million men are moved to the American north Canadian isles possessions, along with a small fleet. They would hopefully keep the northern channel open for trade, and guard Canada's north from any Hera threat.

  19. Think there's any space for one more?

    You're alive?!?!?!??!?! 0.0

And hell yea there is! There's only a few nations left though.

    A variety of African States

    Canada

Central Asian Union (bunch of dirty peasant countries in middle of middle Asia.)

    Indochinese Confederation

West Andean Confederation (Unity of Ecuador/Peru)

That's about it. You could also do a mercenary corps or a space colony/company.
