Jist, honeyboo, love you, but this lore just seems a tad out of left field, shouldn't a whole new magic need to be less arbitrary? Otherwise you’d have to accept everyone’s eccentric magic proposals. Don’t get me wrong, I love the simplified premise of a fiendish creature created to tirelessly pursue one specified life task, but perhaps as a whole it would be better suited refined, and potentially reworked to build off of current magic lore? So we’re not adding new, unnecessary magic types to an already chaotic magic system. That’s just my personal opinion at least, I hope i'm making sense, good luck all the same~ ♥

Although I understand the negativity directed at Snelves, what exactly are you hoping to accomplish with this thread? Do you expect the Admins will just swoop in and force all the Snelves to perma-kill their characters? Or are you hoping the negativity will be enough to force them to commit virtual suicide? Isn't there a way to have a custom race such as Golem mask over another race for it's perks?

Was this ever answered? Like, for those playing magical constructs, creatures, nonconformist races, etc., will GMs be able to set a custom name to mask over a race’s buffs/debuffs? So, for example, a Shade can still list themselves as such in their bio whilst also having access to their elven racial perks.

Ski is an amazing guy, he’s exceptionally hard working, friendly, helpful, experienced, and mature, he’s proved more than capable in his previous contributions to the ET, MAT, and AT, as well as as a past FM and SM. The server would be much better off with him back in a staff position.

From what I've seen, Augor's a friendly and mature guy with plenty of roleplay experience, i'm sure he'd do a fantastic job handling applicants. +1

 

Your events are unique and fairly interesting. however, all of your events seem to be very reliant on the "adorable" aspect. As an ET you will be expected to preform a myriad of events in all sorts of Genres. Could you perhaps write up an event of a more gritty style? Horror or mystery perhaps, it does not have to entail combat very much, but I would like to see a greater variety. If you need a point to start from just ask, I would be more then happy to supply, however the rest is up to you. Good luck!

4. (1-3 players) The Crypt:

Beside the Fringe’s main road or outside one of its bustling cities, a small group of travelers may happen upon a young, frantic girl. She claims her brother went to visit their sister’s grave in their family’s crypt, but was caught in a sudden cave-in and hasn’t returned. Directing the potential adventurers to the catacomb’s entrance, the girl remains behind for safety, frightened horribly of the tomb’s dark depths where even torchlight is sparse. As the travelers enter the crypt, they notice the soft flapping of bat wings and the echo of claws on stone. Perhaps a few of these winged mammals harmlessly flies by among the pitch black passages. The rescue party soon happens upon a young man beside a grave, mumbling incoherently, trapped beneath a pile of rubble and bleeding noticeably from his injuries. As they free the man, attending to his wound, masonry crumbles above them, sending dust and debris plummeting through the tombs as the entrance appears to collapse. The man continues his muttering, becoming panic stricken and pale from blood loss. He urges his rescuers to flee out an alternate exit, sending them further through the dark catacombs as he frequently jumps from fright, terrified by the bats who swarm the passages, beating their wings and scratching against the stone. The madman murmurs incoherently under his breath, fearful of “the bat, the bat” as they aid his barely conscious body through the tomb’s depths. Nearing the exit, however, the clawing grows distinct, a few scratches louder than the rest, closer than the rest. Masonry crumbles once more, warning of a third cave-in. Whether they choose to investigate or flee, an outline would soon make itself apparent as the travelers near the surface’s light. Its gruesome form would bolt out from the shadows, descending upon the travelers, monstrous claws outstretched, bat-like wings unfolded. Rubble tumbles around the rescuers as they’re faced with the Cave Leech, [http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/86197-wild-life-and-monsters-of-anthos/] having moments to decide fight or flight. Whatever methods they employ, the adventurers claw their way back to the surface as the catacombs collapse, hopefully with the rescued man. The young individual’s sister, however, is nowhere to be found. Grateful for their miraculous aid, the man asks how the travelers had come to search his family’s abandoned crypt. Upon hearing of the girl, the man claims they’re lying. His beloved only sibling had died years ago, in fact, he’d been down there to visit her grave himself.
