  1. Real Name: Ruben

    Ingame Name: AiiM

    RP Name: Pontiff Goddard I

    Time Zone: EST

How Long will you be online per week:

I’m on pretty much every day from 4pm-pm, although my schedule tends to be rather static. Weekends tends to be a lot more flexible, giving me more time to lurk the forums and such.

Experience: I'm proud to say that I've actually got quite a bit of experience as a FM. For little over a year I was a forum moderator the PC Gaming section of thetechgame.com. I was also an Admin on all of Kekec12345’s servers and at one point hosted the servers & accepted mods for IG and on the forums.

I was also a Janitor on /vr/ and /p/ for a year and a half before being transferred to a different board. For the sake of keeping any janitor positions I currently have, or will have in the future- I cannot say if I’m currently modding any current boards. During my faithful years as a Janitor I've dealt with everything you can think of; whether it be dealing with off topic posts, requesting bans, cleaning up threads, and dealing with spammers. We really did everything as janitors, and what I said was just a very brief overview of it.

I also have major experience with phpBB although this really doesn't affect anything as the LoTC forums are I.P.

    Previous Forums:

    • D3 Nuclei [Administrator]
    • SxW-PvP [Host and Administrator]
    • 4chan.org [Janitor on several boards]
    • thetechgame.org [Sectional Mod]

Why I should be a FM: Well, to be completely frank, I've burned out of in game for the time being- and because of this I've been spending a lot more time on the forums. Even before this, I would always be lurking the forums while I was in game, refreshing every so often to see now threads and reply to threads.

I also believe I've got a good idea of the rules of the server, and how to project them on new players and on veterans. With my previous experience I've had to deal with strict rules, where perma-banning was always a factor and community relation was a must. I believe that with my past experience and firm grasp on the rules, I would most definitely be a good (hopefully great!) FM.

  3. Goddard frowns as he receives the news. "My friend." he thought, "I'm sorry." he says, frowning lightly. He took a few moments to collect his thoughts. His friend, Bili, was now doomed to the void; had he not been so narrow-minded. Had he accepted the true faith. He would ascend to the seven-skies. Goddard exhaled sharply, standing from his office. "I must beg the Creator for mercy." he says, bee-lining it to the cathedral. He stops within the grand halls of his Cathedral,   and within moments he had taken a seat on the front pew, moving into a deep trance of prayer- renouncing the sounds of Salvus which littered from outside.

  4. Goddard frowns, he hadn't heard news of his letter in days. Taking a moment to collect his thoughts he calls in one of his novices.. "Take this." he says, handing over a poorly copied of the last letter. "Bring it to the Grandmaster, as you did before." he says, pushing his novice off.

  5. Goddard stands beside his peers, and the Emperor. Feeling rather out of place, since he was to wear such a pompous outfit. Why couldn't he have just worn his habits? He exhales sharply, returning his view to the end of the Coronation, clearing his throat.

    "And so we shall."

    History

Born into poverty, Goddard always had taken an interest in the faith of Oren. Though his early ears, he studied within a priory; a slow but sure education. Upon his eighteenth birthday, he was ordained as a pastor- but instead took to the road, traveling across Asulon.

By the end of Auslon, Goddard had made several pilgrimages to Amyas's grave, each time with more followers. He had taken Amyas as his patron, and would keep to the name throughout his life.

By the fall of Auslon, and the exile to Elysium, Goddard found his way into Salvus. He took it upon himself to found a Chapel; St. Amyas's Chapel. Through the Elysium years, he though and educated many of the more prominent clergymen today. He also forged a lifelong friendship with Osterwald, who was, at this time his novice. From thereafter Goddard and Osterwald had taken to walking the roads together.

  7. Goddard steps towards the Crown-Prince, bowing his head in humility. He had ridden day and night to meet with the Prince, and he so urged to know the reason for the summons. He exhaled slowly, the breath visible in the night's chill. Choosing to stay silent, and to study the situation at hand.
