In-Character Details
Character Name: Ulfrik Deephammer
Character Race: Dwarf
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:
Ulfrik was just an infant when his parents fled into the Verge. He remembers a childhood of traveling through mountains and valleys, searching for a place where his kin may settle and rebuild. When Ulfrik came of age, he was put to work alongside his parents and peers in the construction of Karik. Ulfrik became frustrated often when excavating dark areas of the city. His glorious strawberry blonde beard with waxen tipped mustache would get caught on jagged rocks. His cheeks would get even more rosey, and his piercing blue eyes would sear. He devoted the next 3 years of his life to finding a way to temper diamonds. After much research and effort, he succeeded in creating a hammer that would glow brightly in the dark. Thus, his kin granted him the surname Deephammer.
Ulfrik, a mighty young dwarf, spends his days accruing wealth. His lust for power and money never satiated. Ulfrik wants nothing more than to compile enough riches to form his own city under the mountains. A city that would rival the greatness of even Karik. Ulfrik wants the name of Deephammer to mean as much to his people as Urguan!
What are your characters ambitions?: To gain riches and become an important Dwarven diplomat and leader.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: He is tall for a dwarf, exceedingly intelligent, and a superfluous miner.
Open-Response-Questions
Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.
Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I look to my left and see the most pitiful dwarf I've laid mine eyes on in a season. This is why we should not leave the mountains, thought I. Nevertheless, he was my brethren, a hapless son of Urguan. I took my satchel out and handed the small bedraggled peddler my largest jewel, worth my entire travel purse many times over. I looked at the thatched roofs and wooden homes. The cobbled streets that smelled of sewage and rubbish.
"Get back to Karik. I give you this jewel to return to Karik, to our people, so that you might prosper. Upon my return, I vow that I will employ you to the greatest of ends if you are willing to work hard for me."
The little dwarf nodded in disbelief and I smiled. I clasped my kin's forearm in farewell and said, "Ulfrik Deephammer, if you didn't know the name, you soon will."
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? As it is night, the Deephammer is glowing. This will probably catch the attention of the oaf. Urguan would want me to help a brother in need, so I would have no choice but to fight and possibly die in my kin's defense. Honor demands it. Assuming I am undetected in the underbrush due to my small stature, I would attempt to either spring out and crush the beast with a blow to the base of the skull, or possibly cripple him by smashing in his knee joint so my brother and I might escape the angry simpleton. Trying to diffuse a situation with a blood thirsty orc is futile.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: I look from the poor emaciated creature to the beautiful glittering circles scattered across the ground. They shine like suns all their own with an abundant radiance. I want nothing more than to add the sum to my coffers, but I remember my sworn virtue. I refused long ago to sacrifice my pride and honor to Iblees' curses.
"Here lad, let me situate you."
I give the man a small hunk of salted mountain goat and sit him upright. I then walk to nearby tree and carve plank from a low limb. I used my flint whittling knife to shape the bough into a sturdy new cane for the elderly gentleman. I then aided him in collecting his purse which took all of my determination not to pocket. The man thanked me from the bottom of his heart and I was filled with pride to see the man on his feet.
"If you want to repay me, you may spread the name of Deephammer among those of your race. Having esteem in their eyes, may serve me well some day. Farewell my friend, you are most welcome."
I continued on my journeys after a quick bow.
