Character Race: Human (no sub-race)
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:
Short Bio:
Arriman was born in Arethor, where he grew up. His mother was a librarian and his father served in the Military. While they weren't rich growing up, the family could afford a few comforts. Arriman continued to study under his mother for the duration of his childhood, but when his father returned he pressured Arriman to go off into Asulon, seeking a new home, job, and family. Arriman did just that.
When his father returned when Arriman was just fourteen, he urged him to find a way to support himself. Arriman, thinking himself ready to venture out, found a job cleaning the barn at a local farm. He was payed with a place to sle in the horse stable. While he didn't have much of it, he spent most of his free-timing learning how to woodwork from the owner of the farm.
He left the farm when he was sixteen to come work at a water mill. His simple, yet honed carpentry skills allowed him to carefully repair some parts of the mill when the need arose. Though, not much better than his old job, he was payed a meager salary each time he repaired a part, and was given a bed in the servant's quarters. He was overall pleased with his current job, and when he could spare a night, he would travel in-city and go to a local Inn. He met a few short-term friends there, but like all things they passed. Arriman didn't amount to much at his job, and started saving money to travel around Asulon, anywhere he liked.
It took him a while, but when he was eighteen he'd saved up enough money to buy a set of carpenter's tools. He sacrificed travel for job, and found himself working repair and building jobs around the area in and around Arethor.
He hopes to make a break someday, to improve his total skills and to actually be known in his community.
Personality, and Features:
~
He is a Northerner. A bit lighter than tan, but not really that pale. From his work he's developed a muscular build which is amplified by his slimness. His hair is a sandy brown, and he usually keeps a short hairstyle, and a shaved face. He isn't really all that hairy on his arms or legs, but the hairs are dark enough it's obvious he has some. His eyes are an emerald green color, and the closer to the pupil the lighter the color gets. He has a roman nose, slim lips, thick brows, and medium cheekbones.
His personality is ambitious. He isn't overly cocky, but he likes to get to the point. He tries to have empathy when he's not in a state or ignorance (usually caused by intoxication or a anger-induced stupor). He takes major offense when animals and people are needlessly hurt, and will try to stop those acts if possible. He acts defensive on most things, and will try to avoid fighting if at all possible. He has a medium resistance to pain, but if it cuts deep, or slices long he'll start to worry, and most likely scamper off.
He is currently twenty.
What are your characters ambitions?: He aspires to master a skill, whether it be fighting, carpentry, or architecture.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.
Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?
"Hail, my friend. What is it you are selling on this fine evening?"
"Well, I am looking to make some money by selling my homemade spiced salmon. They're as tough as an Orc, and as tasty as, well, spice salmon."
The breeze would blow onto the steaming fish, and blow into my nose. The succulent fishy, salty, and pepperish smell would fill my nose.
"Well, sir dwarf. I would be delighted to buy some of your... very special fish. How much, friend?"
"I'll cut you a deal, humie. Three meager minas, to feed a hungry dwarf's family."
Arriman, eager to begin eating the salmon, hands the man nine minas, and takes three salmon for himself.
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?
Arriman quickly hides in a nearby bush, wanting to witness the occurring event. The Orc continues to berate the dwarf, going as far as shaking his fist. Arriman guesses this is a mugging, and sits tightly. The Dwarf, shaken takes out his money pouch and gives it to the Orc, and the Orc, somewhat pleased in his own beastly ways, trod off, looking for his next victim.
Arriman jumps out of the bush and walks over to the Dwarf. The Dwarf, a little shaken exclaims "Please, sir! I don't have anything, can't you just leave me in peace?". I respond, "I hadn't planned on laying a finger on you. I saw what happened, and I'm sorry it did. Here, take this." Arriman then gives the Dwarf his last spiced salmon, and helps the dwarf to the nearest town.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:
Arriman rushes over to the man, the searing sun beating on his exposed neck. Arriman quickly reaches to pull the man up, and get him on his feet. "Are you alright?" Arriman asked. "I am a little bit shaken, admittedly. I will be fine, young man." the Old Man retorted. "I am at a loss... I've had the stick for a while and cannot venture without it. I'll tell you what, if you can fix my stick, or find me a new one, you can have the few minas I dropped." the old man offered.
Arriman took out his few nails and a hammer and started his work. It took a few minutes, but with his basic skill and the reliable nails, the walking stick was as good as new, if not better. "Thank you, young man. I can finally return to Malinor. There, take the money on the ground, and buy yourself something special. You've earned it." the man said, as he started down the road to Malinor.
