  1. Charles Philip Horen stands by himself in a corner speaking

"We are losing, Felsen. For too long have we lost. Our previous mayor, he's done an awful job, an awful job. He doesn't know what he is doing. My opponents, if there are any, are low energy. So low energy, they look like they are asleep. Do we want that for mayor of Felsen? No we do not want that. Now, me, I am a winner, I know how to win. Trust me on this folks, I know how to win. That's all I've done my entire life, is win.

When I was a young kid, you know what happened? My father gave me a small loan of land, basically an entire viscounty and 5000 minas. A small loan, guys. Now, now I am rich and I still own that land and more! I worked hard and I won and I will do the same for you, the hard working Felsenites of the middle and lower class. I am great at it. The best. No one is better. My opponent, they are endorsed by the nobility, they take bribes from the rich merchants who support their interests! When I am mayor I will look after the little guy. Small businesses will boom! They will be huge! We will be rich again, folks.

The dwarves, they've been coming over here. The elves, they have been coming over here, illegally. Illegally, folks. They take our jobs, they take our homes, they take our money. And nothing is done about it! I'll tell you what I will do if I am elected mayor of Felsen! I will build another wall around Felsen. One even larger than the one we have now that will keep the criminal dwarves and elves out of our land. In that wall will be a huge, shining door that will be open to everyone that wants to come here legally, legally folks. Because I love legal immigrants.

We need to bring mercantile back to Felsen, folks. We've allowed these other peoples to come in and take away our labor, take away our jobs, take away our businesses. They move out of Felsen because it is cheaper folks! These big businesses and lords all bought my opponent with their millions of minas! We need to stop this. No more unfair trade and merchanting to those outside of Felsen. I will make sure we have fair trade, folks. fair trade. We will negotiate, because let me tell you, I am a great negotiator, I have negotiated so many fantastic deals, I am a great negotiator, and we will negotiate fair deals, folks. Fair trade.

We will make Felsen rich again.

We will make Felsen legal again

We will make Felsen great again!

    Thank you."

  2. In his seclusion, Charles hears word of the passing of his great friend. Grief stricken, he journeys from his isolated home into the forests that surround it. For an entire day he wanders the forest in absolute silence and solace, momentarily stopping to pray for the fallen Georgiy. Finding a small underbrush he falls asleep in the small hours of the night, hungry and thirsty from fasting on his short trip.

  3. This really struck me when I found this. I don't ever log on anymore, but I come on to the website every now and then and when I found this I was... awfully surprised because of how much grief hit me through finding this out. I knew him since my times on Anthos and it was some fun times each and every time I would interact with him ever since. It hurts me much that someone can be taken while so young. He was a great guy and it seems that only the good die young. I will pray for you that God receives you in open and loving arms, my friend.

  4. In the wee small hours of the morning an absence is noted among the denizens of Dunholz. If one were to journey to the keep and look upon the bed of the Lord they would find an empty spot  and a fine piece of parchment. You pick it up and unravel it to uncover what lies within.

“I do not know how to state this and any way that I might attempt to explain it may not be comprehended, but I shall do my best. My time here is done. It is time for me to move on from this world. I have always felt a close connection to God ever since I was a small boy and he has now decided to bring me forth. I cannot explain for what God has brought me forth. Do not look for me, do not send out parties, because you will find nothing. You will not find me anywhere, for I am simply gone.

I have decided to write this letter as a closing for all those whom I have cared for and those whom cared for me. A final goodbye.

To my dearest and cherished wife, Heather, I have troubled you with my disappearances ever since we met. I have loved you since the first night we spent together and I always shall. You have stayed loyal to me and I have always felt that I never gave enough to you. I hope that you may one day forgive me for this departure. I will always love you most in my heart.

To each of my children, I love each of you and you shall grow up to be strong and willful as all Okenherts are. Stephan, you shall inherit all that is mine. I have good faith in you that you shall accomplish what must be done.

To Brahn, even though we have only known each other a short time, it seems like forever and you have proven to be one of my most loyal men. I task you to watch over Dunholz until my son comes of age and you have my blessing to be knighted by the Emperor if he so chooses to knight you. You deserve it and a small fief shall be granted to you if our most gracious Emperor decides to follow through.

To all those in Dunholz, I have enjoyed my time with you. To all former and current residents you have proven to be a stalwart and loyal people and I will always be in thanks for it.

To Otto Sarkozic, We may have only met for a brief time, but I feel I must write you a good farewell. It has felt like we have known each other for a very long time. You are a good man and deserve all that you receive. May God watch over you, my friend, I will miss you most.

To all the Stafyrs, I am sorry that I had taken arms against you in the Duke’s War. You were generous lords and rightful ones. Even as a little child you treated me with respect and almost raised me in my youth and I thank you all for it.

To Siguine Barbanov, those this message may seem odd, I think the person it is intended for shall understand. You are a good friend and have sought guidance from me. You have done a good job while you were around. Though we seem to have drifted a bit, I still consider you a good friend.

To Raomir Armon, You were around since the beginning, my friend, and we have kept in contact. We have been through alot and it was fun. Stay safe.

To the honor guard, you were good friends and loyal allies to me and my Barony when you were around. I would like to thank you for that patronage.

To anyone I have missed, I apologize for you not coming to the front of my head, but I say a pleasant farewell to you and may God watch over you as well.”

As you place down the letter you would receive a weird feeling as though Gregor was truly gone. No matter how far you search or where in the world you may travel, you would not find him. This was truly his final farewell.

  5. House Sheffield was very powerful. They overthrew the original Horens that ruled over humanity until Godfrey! And then betrayed humanity by becoming undead and eating other humans, eventually splitting oren up. Very impacting indeed. Very powerful as well...almost too powerful...

  6. Yopplwasupxxx (Yo-people-was-up-xxx, for those of you who think it is yoppl-wasup-xxx as I used to) has been one of my greatest friends on lotc since I've played on this server. One of the few that has stayed my friend throughout my whole experience on this server and I still contact on a frequent basis. I am not making this post just because he is my friend, but because of the qualities that he has a person. That is why I brought up the fact that he has been such a good friend to me for so long, because otherwise I would not be writing this. Ever since I have started playing on this server I have known yoppl and we became instant friends because of reasons I will list, that are also reasons why he would make a great ET:

    1. He is a fantastic roleplayer. Even though he is seen as trolly sometimes and likes to joke around, when it comes time to roleplay he is literally in the zone. He never breaks character and always provides interesting roleplay to the table.

    2. He has a great character. He's truly a great person to be around. He's never abrasive or negative to anyone and always sticks up for people who need it. This provides a very unbiased attitude that is needed for the Event Team.

3.Whenever he has been a part of a group or a leader, he has been able to provide roleplay where there is none and it isn't anything boring. It is roleplay that attracts other players to participate and to continue participating with.

Having recently been on the Event Team and being removed only due to my ban (Which the appeal hasn't been looked at yet even though my ban is up), I have seen the need for a player like yoppl on the Event Team. I will be honest, the Event Team has been lacking for a while with a very few number of them actually doing things actively. Yoppl is an active guy and trustworthy and will get to doing things. The Event Team would be sorely missing out if he wasn't included.

  7. Gregor Oakheart stands alongside his family, his martial Darius, and his levymen. Standing aloft as he watches the King crowned he nods in approval speaking quickly to those around him

"May God guide his reign to good fortunes!"

  8. Ulric Lothorn rallies the remnants of his men and begins to seek out refugees of the scarred battle grounds and the lingering husk that Brelus begins to form. Among the stirring of packing and rallying he overhears the speech and speaks out to his family and companions,

"A fool, that man. Barbanov is gone and he has abandoned his people in the time they would need him the most. My oaths to Siguine were fulfilled when he disappeared after the battle. This war is over and the time for restoration and peace is now upon. Let us not dream of a hero's death when in reality it is a fool's. These men will not be remembered for courage or glory in this scant of a fight, but as fools who have thrown their life away and gnats to be swatted away. Let all men of Adria and the coalition know that it is time to begin anew. The coalition is broken. All noble men left flee. King Olivier has defeated and subdued us. Spread the word that we must make a new home under our King. Whether we think ill of him or not he has proven victorious over us and seek his mercy. There is no use for stubbornness and wish for a fool's death.

There has been enough shed of human flesh and blood over this throne. There is no need or cause for more to be shed. We must gather ourselves from the ruins of the coalition and start anew just as a dead tree provides life for a new one. All refugees of this terrible war hear this and yield, gather what men, women, and children you can find and follow us to a new life under the victorious King. Let us not folly any longer over whether he is idle for he has proven to be our true liege by defeating us.

Creator bless these men and bless those men who will now have to throw their lives away to put down this insurrection. Creator bless all those who have suffered in this war. It is time to reunify mankind once more under our great Creator."

  9. Ulric Lothorn finishes reading the document before placing it down, gazing over to the small couch that fits snugly within the first floor of his home among the denizens of Brelus, he turns to his family and friends that live among him and states,

"Is it not this very bed that I tended to a Felsen woman who these so called vessels of Orenian and human virtues attempted to not only burn a woman, but also crucify her? What was her crime? An accusation of of being an assassin with no evidence. Yet there was no trial, no mercy, no confession or forgiveness. All that was left for this poor, young girl was cruelty and injustice. It was the Adrian 'horde of dogs' who came to release this girl from her hell. The hell that is the Savoyard plague that I have plainly seen on multiple accounts.

I swore myself, my family, and my band of followers to Lord Siguine and our late Lord Sarkozic, Creator bless his soul, not for material gain. For if I wanted material gain I would surely have gone to the Savoyard Oren who, at whim, hands out materialistic gains to their dogs. I swore my life to the honorable Lord Siguine because I saw a noble Lord who wished best for his people and humanity. I saw a people enslaved by a King who did not know his own people's plight and hides behind his palace walls feasting, sending his 'dogs' out to do his work for him. Lord Siguine leads his men to battle and commands us with the temperance of a true Lord of men. Let those who mean to slander this great people do it with true evidence, but not with bias and malicious libel meant to discredit good people.

The Creator sent humanity upon this world united as one people, yet it was this Konigsreich that sought to split the Creator's people and use foreign races to their own sinful ends of greediness. Using them in an attempt to split our church and great people and to slaughter their own kind. These Orenians even stoop so low as to use men of the faith to assassinate those we swore to defend. These people seek to exterminate a culture of humanity, when the Creator has made us all in the same light, none lesser than any other. The Adrian cries are not to murder and genocide, but for a righteous and just ruler ship."
