  1. Your cute Gifs weren't good enough. If you want the definition of cute gif, look at my signature.

On the whole, yes please. You've held staff positions before, you are (in my opinion) overqualified for this type of work. You should get a job and make money off your set of skills. This community doesn't deserve you!

  2. Mages can be as strong as you or stronger actually. They only get weaker when they have low mana. Just sayin'. Though I'd highly doubt any 'mage' kick would send you flying if that's what he emoted. The max you'd get knocked back if you yourself are pretty strong, 2-3 feet.

Edit: Another sidenote: If a mage or anybody emotes voidal magic whilst physically attacking you, that's pg. The concentration would have broke under the stress.

  3. Events are getting too big, honestly. I'm tired of attending events where I can't develop any of my characters. I am tired of being a bystander. I want to be involved. I don't wish to attend events with 50-100+ players where they shout out memes in ooc. I want to actually get something out of these events. Understandable, the event team needs to try and compensate for everyone on the server to keep them happy. Guys, large scale events where we kill mc mobs while watching two 'Gods' fight isn't fun at all, honestly.

Let's talk about the event which occurred yesterday, starting with the bad stuff. One, too big. Two, too many memeing players. Three, No character interaction other than being a bystander and killing mobs. In short, boring as hell. Good stuff. Loved seeing the magic plugins in action, that's about it.

Conclusion, large events like this, have very low quality.

Smaller events, on the other hand, that is the ET's one strong point. For example, I went with a couple buddies of mine to attend a dire'wolf capture event, there was only 5 of us, including the event team member. I have never in the history of my days playing LOTC, have had a more fun and quality event. I enjoyed myself SO much and so did the other because you could actually interact with the event! I have attended many smaller events in the past, ones that actually impacted and affected my character's development.

I'm not wrong when I say that everyone on this server wants their character to be special, or have some sort of meaning and purpose. Whether you believe it or not, your character by default is the main character in LOTC. It is a mental bias no matter what you think. As I said before, you want your character to have an interesting story, you want your character to have meaning and to be different from other characters. You could get a lot of this special treatment for your character if the ET focussed more on giving players what they need, not what they think they want I/E, large events with mobs.

If you are going to start a large scale event with 50-100+ players, you need a backstory as to why it happened. In other words, smaller, more interactable events so that players know or have some idea as to why this large event is happening. Otherwise, you get a bunch of kids not taking the event seriously and just absolute chaos. Who can blame them? They have no idea what is going on but come regardless because they can.

The questions I have for the ET:

    - What happened?

    - Where is the roleplay in events nowadays?

    - Why not stick to smaller events which work, quality wise?

    - Why not surprise a small random group of players with an amazing event? (More often)

    That is my view.
