  1. Aeyrius notices this on his route throughout the four capitals, squinting at it,

"Alright than, I'll keep that in mind once a few hundred lives are saved from Krakens and Giant cows, thank 'ya very much."

Aeyrius takes the knife for himself, instead of ripping it off the wall he carefully puts it in a pouch for safekeeping, actually wanting to keep it.

  2. After many annoying and prolonged arrangements, Aeyrius managed to have a tailor produce the Prototypes for the Trial clothing. Birds are sent to -all- members to converge at Luminaire Square within the next two hours in order to receive their uniform.

    ((OOC Update to the UMHG:

    1. Trial skin created ---> Check OP))

  3. Aeyrius scratches his head, shaking it slowly,

"Not really... But, I'm currently working on not only ridding Malinor of... Racial Stains, but Monsters as well, thus I might be out often, but I believe a Monster being killed protects our name and our people's lives more than a Racial's judgement."

Aeyrius brings up his chin, his posture perfect and formal as he stands there, his eyes partially closed as his mind races about other matters.

  4. Malinor, Abresi, The Outskirts of the Orcish lands, and the Dwarven Capital

    Who are the UMHG?

The UMHG is a Group of dedicated men and women that ensure the safety of Anthos by slaying Unnatural beasts that lurk the lands. Upon the rapid increase in these beasts, a group is being established to successfully restrain and contain these abominations, or if necessary, slain.

These individuals who put their efforts into this should fall into adventurous categories, they'll be across Anthos, from the East, to the West, down to the South and up into the treacherous North.

Do not mistake Monster for Paranormal, the UMHG alone is designed to deal with Monsters, and not Apparitions, Spirits, Gravens, or any of the sort. This also doesn't include Demons or, if there was reason, Angels, or a sub-breed of them.

The Classification of Monster the UMHG deals with are single beings with extreme abnormalities, therefore any abundant abomination, signifying the prior Northern attack, is not the responsibility of the UMHG, nonetheless assistance may be provided if the UMHG forces are sufficient.

*This is hung in all Major cities*

    Monsters and their Weaknesses

As a general guideline, most of these abominations are affected with the material 'Gold'. It is a guarantee that some monsters will not display this weakness, and unfortunately that can only be learned through trial and error.

The UMHG is by default required to bring Golden weapons into combat, but a designated carrier will be chosen prior to the objectives, with the standard Iron weapons if the need arises.

    The rest is common sense.

    If it's hairy: Fire.

If it's a fish: No water.

If it's a snow Yeti: Fire once again.

    That should cover the point.

*This can be found as an information sheet along with the application form*

Spirits and if there is NO way to avoid them?

The harsh fact of reality IS that the UMHG will run into Spirits, like all Anthos residents do, in the event escape is impossible, avoid looking into their eyes as a general rule, this won't apply with all spirits, but the risk is not worth the reward.

Gravens: They are corporeal, fight them as you would a normal being, but avoid looking into their eyes, weapons blessed with Holy Water instantly de-manifests them.

    Apparitions: N/A.

*This is also part of the information package*

    UMHG Ranking System

    *Flag of the UMHG*

    -The Realm Guard-

    Held by: Aeyrius Oussana

Essentially the head of the UMHG, the title is given to the one most proficient and experienced in slaying Monsters, not allowing abominations of nature to walk the realm. The orders of this individual are absolute, and by applying you agree to do whatever comes from his mouth, that applies to your job to avoid corruption.

    The Abominist                   The Monsteric

This rank is a division leader           This rank is another division leader

specialized in slaying massive monsters,   specialized in killing the average

the sort that tower over your homes and,   sized, extremely dangerous monsters,

wreak havoc, considering these are even    fairly straight forward, they only

rarer, often times they act as a           take orders from the Realm Guard,

support officer with the Monsteric.        same applies to the Abominist.

    The World Guards

There is an unlimited number of these units technically, but due to some dying in combat, or there are simply an over demand of honorary Slayers, there is usually an unspoken limit of ten of these individuals. These are the best of the best, and in -CRISIS- situations they take command, if the Realm Guard and division leaders are absent or deceased. Archers, Mages and Warriors alike can have this position.

    Honorary Slayers

The Proving Grounds to see if you're ready to become a World Guard, just after being promoted, the week after the week you were promoted will be your testing phase, your combat will be rated by multiple individuals, you either fail and drop down the Professional permanently, or ascend to a World Guard. These individuals are free to train more than participate in combat before the testing week.

    Professional Slayers

Earning their name through the bloodshed of Unnatural Beasts, these individuals are the elite footsoldier, trusted by superiors to get the job done. They have proved to be loyal to the syllable in their work, giving the utmost care to perfection.

    Slayers

The footsoldier of the UMHG, after having graduated from the recruitment stage they can officially start hunting full-fledged Monsters, most of these individuals meet their fate on the first battle. Those that show combat prowess and continue to survive over and over are those who ascend further.

    The Trial Stage

    PVlNDxa.png

Nicknamed 'Tries', these individuals are observed absent-mindedly, having their loyalty and attendance tested, their preferred weapon and armor type recorded, and their general personality through observation.

    Auxillaries

The special parts of the guild, this doesn't include Lumbermen, Miners, or any of the manual labour spots, but this means the following:

    -Gravens.

    -Mystical Entities.

    -Ghosts.

These are all capable of taking "sides" per say, and if one were to take ours, this is where their spot would be.

*This can be found within the Information package as well*

    The Information Package

After vaguely eluding to this package, it would be specified that the information package is obtained through going to an Aviary and collecting one of the applications as well as the bundle that is within it.

    • Minecraft name: tylerthebrain

    • Skype ID: [uMHG|Captain|O.Guard] Aeyrius Oussana

    • Time zone: GMT -4/ EST.

    • Have you ever been banned or received a strike? If so, link the report: I have not received either of these.

    • What do you believe are key factors for a successful event? An event is a crucial push to roleplay, and it brings players together to enjoy an experience before, during and after.

One of the main drives to a player desiring participation in an event, is a chance to make themselves unique, and known. That is why items commonly get a lot of attention, rarer things are sought out, for people, thus players, seek a reward. This reward can range from simple bragging rights, to an actual tool or piece of equipment they receive out of the let's say, ten participants.

Do not misunderstand, reward alone does not drive an event, without quality, players will lose sight of a reward, or question why they are in the event. That means that there needs to be an exemplary display of grammar and spelling, which is organized and makes sense to the players, standing out regardless of color. This can be done via wording and usage of less common punctuation which draws the eye.

Onto the next aspect, neither quality, or reward fills in for the actual event, what is taking place? Many events attract many people, especially those that influence heavy character development. An event must be arranged like a product, to entertain a target audience, whether it be a festival, a trek to the North, and so forth. The story in this event needs to be eluding, with cliffhangers dotted here and there to have the player seeking more, but not so confined that it feels nothing will be gained. At the same time an event cannot be revealed, even OOCly, as there would be no elements, or trump-cards, to entertain players.

    • What type of events are you most interested in creating? I expertise in Villainous events, therefore as a genre, it would have to be evil, or violence in an even broader spectrum. While when done with the intent to kill, these events can be depressing to the one experiencing it, though when it's turned so that the player will in fact survive, it provides heavy character development. Many individuals are stray from the rest of the player base, and I don't plan on leaving them out,

    • What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team? In an unprofessional environment, I see myself as a kind and respectful person, and forcefully remind myself to respect others, and to tend to their goals and wants as well, and not only my own. I tend to have a motivational aspect, which like all jobs, professional and recreational have struggle in the middle of the job, I feel I could push through that experience.

Professionally, I have roleplayed literally hundreds of villains, and murders, and so forth. I thoroughly, given the permission to cross the boundaries ordinary roleplay retains, could force influence the mood of the roleplay, for not only have I learned this through providing, but also receiving. I believe I could provide an in depth view to Events, after finding something in a prior roleplay community, I realized how much there is to cover. To put the RP I could provide into detail, let's put an actor as a Cleric which guides a group through the North. This is merely to progress the event, he truly has no relevance to the story, but given a personality, growing ties with the group, even before the event happens, developing him, can provide such a deeper experience. To immerse yourself in a world, where you've met a great man, seeking to heal the weak at the expense of his own energy, tending to your problems, and let us say in this event the cleric meets his fate. Contrary to what I've experienced, where a dud character is made to guide the event, than dies, or maybe even survives and is never used again, I could provide this level of detail, put this emotion onto a player, and so forth.

    • Create three distinct RP scenarios/events that you, as an actor, could create for others (one paragraph each):

    =Raid from the North=

Lately, barbaric screams can be heard echoing through the planes of what used to be the grounds of Castle Greywyn, now covered in ash and debris, it has been taken by another force. Over time this barbaric group continues to foster morale and numbers, and once the time is right, they strike the town. They retain the logic to not kill those who are unarmed and unable to fight, capturing them instead in roughly made sacks as they pillage. The force compiled on the defending side would try to fight off the barbarians, though it would not be rigged, whichever side plays their cards better will win. Assuming the barbarians won, the captives would be dragged back, and held as Prisoners Of War, so that the chieftain of the barbarians could further dig their way into the lands with threats. Until the issue is solved, the influence would continue to grow sporadically, with a new, more dominant force if they are constantly defeating the opponent.

(- The Captives receive and extensive amount of character development, and are free to attempt escapes, murdering the barbarians if they managed to get loose, or any of the other 100 possibilities, an event made for the players, and driven by the players. Only the seed was thought up.-)

    =The Rumbling=

In the fields of Lenfarthing, wheat has been growing less efficiently than usual, due to seismic activity under the surface, over the coming months (Elven Days) the force would increase, until it is literally series of rumbling. One moment, a jagged spire erupts from the field, steam hissing from the cracks around it, the top cracking half-way and falling over, dust blasting from the force. The spire is extremely hot, seemingly made of black, molten rock, but if one looked closely they could notice a whitish blue ore in it's top half, embedded an inch into the side, with what appears to be diamond. While only being a minuscule amount and a one time occurrence, once the ore is collected it is up to the players. It can be used to gain minas through auction, to manipulate followers into a faction if done correctly, or put into an item for the player, like a pendant, and the likes.

(- As intended, there won't only be large scale raiding events like the above one, but smaller events need tending as well.-)

    =A Passing Toll=

Along the Anthos highway, a group of three bandits are stationed, heavily armed with guards armor, to any who would pass, they would be stopped by the bandits and told to pay a fare of 20 minas, and if they fail to provide, they'd pay with the loss of part of a finger. This event is extremely unique in that it could branch out to larger events, linking the three bandits to a larger system for players to search for. That would be the route if the ones who dealt with the bandits decided on torture of killing, or maybe even sparing them. These bandits will all be given originally personalities and histories, so the player will feel emotion for them in what they do.

(-The event is open-ended on purpose, for it can branch into a mini-plot for a group of players to discover.-)

  9. Out of Character Questions:
    Minecraft Username: tylerthebrain

Graven Name/Title: Airtum, the Crucified Gravekeeper.

Screenshot of skin to be used:  YosmtAt.jpg

In a sentence or less, why do you want to play a Graven character: The experience seems extremely unique for starters, not only that, but this 'Graven' role allows the job of entertaining and gathering players for RP much easier.

What roleplay do you feel you will bring to other players as a Graven: I intend to bring an intimidating, fearful experience to players, while not going out of my way to murder, it will be similar to the Graven "Hunter" in that they are combat oriented and full of hatred, malice, and so forth, yet they'll only attack if provoked, or angered to a certain extent. Aware of himself, he looks down at normal 'mortals', although obviously, he can still die, but has a high sense of pride.

What ghost story, if any, is your Graven based on:  Long faded rumours of a Gravekeeper in Malinor, of Dark Elven decent, crucified in the graveyard on a tombstone, barely a soul would know of this, for time has shrouded it, and little spoke of the event.

Have you been accepted for a VA or MA, and if so, how many times did it take to be accepted? If more than one separate application, please answer for all: Aeyrius:
    First Attempt: Denied
    Second: Accepted.

    Uyrgut:
Three denies, I clearly wasn't passionate about what I wanted.

    Open Response Questions:
What is your Graven's unfulfilled duty:  Burying the dead, in the moments during death, spite lurked his mind, Airtum hated the world that he lived in, and punishes those who believe they are strong.

To what does your Graven most respond: The death of many 'weak' people, or the death of a strong being/person.

What, specifically, regenerates your Graven's energies (i.e. in what way is its duty fulfilled): The bodies of weak individuals regenerates part of his energy, the body of someone who has accomplished great deeds regenerates a large quantity.

What are some typical signs of your Graven manifesting: Both Flora and Fauna begin to turn red, blood slowly leaking from any opening on both classes, the blood would work it's way into the soil or ground, as an illusion, setting itself at peace. The sky above darkens, the eyes of creatures turn a solid, get black as they bleed. A sight of horror indeed.

Write a short (2-3 paragraphs) biography of your Graven's first life: Airtum, cast off by his own kind, for communicating happily with their Mali'aheral relations. The world was a quiet place, at the time, death was from petty crime, age, or disease, there was little war and violence, but hatred existed. Thus the Dark Elf wished one thing, to bare the sins of the people, and send off those who died peacefully, and with the utmost honour.  So he simply became a volunteering graveskeeper, he wasn't even paid for the work he did, he simply built himself a home with permission outside of the graveyard, and dealt with the burying, and when things were quiet, he would pray for the dead.

It was a melancholy life, one that seeded with potential, but was restrained by mortality and emotion, longing for those who passed, Airtum failed to head into the future, so his routine began. After his fifteenth year as a graveskeeper, living of the kindness of other people, Airtum headed into the graveyard, far passed midnight. It was a friend from his childhood, Ker'celia, meaning Night Star. His friend was found to have been stabbed in the stomach, and left to bleed out in the vast forest, stripped of his belongings. Airtum fell to his knee in front of the grave, closing his eyes and clasping his hands together, biting his lip as thoughts scattered his mind. Airtum eventually reached behind him, taking a gently, red rose, flicking up an inch of dirt, and planting it in front of the grave silently. This is when the whispers began.

Airtum looked up, and to both his sides, and even behind him, failing to see anything, Airtum shook his head, scratching his hair as he tried to drown the sound out, failing miserably. Airtum grasped the tombstone in front of him, inhaling deeply as he tried to calm himself, giggling slightly,

"S"So"So after all these years, /this/ is how I lose my mind...?"

Suddenly, a force grasped his neck from behind, raising him slowly off of the ground, and turning him around, Airtum shivered violently as two red eyes stared at him, captivating his frenzied stare, there stood a Graven.

"You have no future..." Was the only words he heard clearly before the stares effect began to reach him.

Airtum shook his head from side to side as his body slammed against his friends tombstone. Immediately after, piles blasted through his wrists and ankles, and he hung there screaming and swinging his head from side to side, a laugh escaping through his twisted mind. At this point, spikes began impaling into his stomach, each time his eyes would widen further, as his sane mind crept forward one last time, thinking it's last thoughts, than Airtum's eyes closed, and his head drooped forward slowly.

    Pirates or Ninjas: N I N J A ' S.

Write an open-ended encounter of your choice that involves your Graven interacting with a living person (doesn't need to be longer than a paragraph, if you aren't into heavy writing): It's  5:53AM when I do these things, and I haven't slept, so I'll keep it short to avoid mistakes.))

Airtum stood silently where he was, his mind blank as he rested both of his  ethereal palms over the hilt of the large Ax/shovel hybrid, before his head rung, and he looked up.

    The funeral recession was ruined.

Airtum began to  Manifest, his hands still resting on the hilt of the tool as screams erupted from the crowd, the casket being dropped to the ground, and the body rolling out onto it's front. Some pulled out weapons, others scattered.  Shouts erupted towards Airtum as he stared silently around them, taking an unspoken pleasure as they began to lose their minds, one turned to their right, swinging blindly at the crowd. Death of many pursued, and those that did not escape lay along with the original body, Airtum simply standing there. Once all was quiet, he lifted the tool, starting to dig holes for each body, and hours later would he demanifest, having done his duty.
  10. Name: Aeyrius Oussana.

    Nationality: Malinor (Birthplace- Darkhaven), Elven.

    Amount of elven blood:100%

Combat experience:   Heavy experience, I bare the Oussana name with passion, and have sought out the most extensive training possible, from my father, and my sister, and even as far as the Eastern lands, from Valon Tyrannis, a master of the blade. I have actual combat experience as well, dealing with Beings from the North, sadistic groups and factions, and even lowly bandits.

  11. Aeyrius stands there, looking at the bodies quietly, he does not move, speak or fidget, his goretesque, slaughter-knowing eyes pass over each of the labelled corpses, finally ending with Laila Oussana, he only but tilts his head slightly, resting a curled index finger upon his chin, "I suppose I'll have the honor of avenging this one, not that I need it after the beasts from the North gave me all I wanted." Aeyrius detaches Laila's body, dragging it down the long, twisting path of Malinor, leaving it at the front of the Oussana Manor, in Darkhaven, than going to his regular activities.

  12. Aeyrius picks at his lip, now some level older than he previously was, looking at the notice of the barracks which he regularly lurks around;

"I'll attend both- Oh right, I can't- Guess that means I have a form of mental retardation and incompetence.

    How does one fix incompetence?

Oh, they don't ask themselves how to f- Waaaait a-..."

    Aeyrius walks away.

  13. Welcome to the Announcement of our Fifth Clan Event

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What the event entails: Once again, Braduk has pushed forward war against Gahktusk, we need to prepare now, for the battle in the coming days.

When will this occur?: Tueday- 4PM EST

Why are we doing this?: Braduk has laid a Clan Warclaim against Gahktusk, it is the best for honour to abide.

What will be done during the Event?: By what I know, both sides will initiate in a battle at the date and time above, with them having assistance from stray members of Gorkill AND Lur, therefore we will most likely be the side with less people, making it more enjoyable.

  14. Angrily finds his way back to Darkhaven, after going on a massive detour down the Anthos Highway, delaying his return greatly, he observes the note, grumbling to himself, wrapping his hands over his head and spinning in circles, shouting;

"Why!~ I'm old enough! Come on! Duzghs! I don't want to be a cleaner, or an assistant, I want to sit those humans in their seats where they belong! Over co-..." Aeyrius continues to ramble for hours, losing track of time, before sitting down, sighing as he takes the note into a pouch for later viewing, frowning softly.

    "Damn, one day,

    one day."
