JK. I am glad to see that the Arm of Tahariae is being used instead of just rusting away, plus it's a rather interesting concept.

Although my slight issue is that the blessing on the Arm previously was from Tahariae, meaning it is more powerful than a usual clerical blessing. I highly doubt the Arm of Tahariae will be corruptible with Tahariae protecting it and the light constantly within the relic, said Aengul powering the light continuously. Overpowering the direct blessing from an Aengul itself will be extremely hard. You may want to discuss with Flam on this.

 

Also, Tahariae isn't a female. Tahariae is a confirmed male.

RK magic is designed specifically to mute/subjugate divine magic. I intend to do so in a LT-moderated event with a few other of the magic's users when the time comes for it to be created in character. Also, mind you that and Abyss seed would likely subvert the Light inside into stagnant  spook energy - the way it's detailed in the lore as a literal minute gap between the mortal plane and the Abyss, slowly corrupting anything near it.

slower than a necromancy drain with relatively similar range (also you can kill someone in one emote with a crossbow shot, and the drain can be interrupted - that seems like a moot point)

Effect(s) of Artifact:

Upon invocation, the Claw of the Conciliator is capable of taking hold of the lifeforce of an individual or object [organic material, such as trees or plants] and rapidly stagnation it’s lifeforce (6 emotes), similar to a Necromancer’s drain; though it operates at a greater range of 10 meters. After the conclusion of said drain, the target is rendered (effectively) impaired - the conclusion results in grievous bodily harm, which varies from expedited cancers similar to the wearer or blindness. This is due to the nature of stagnant lifeforce, following the same line of use as the Resonant Knight's touch drain.

Usage and continued exposure to the wielder result in tumorous growths and cancer-like symptoms including insomnia, paranoia, discolored skin - yellowed eyes (from liver failure) and jaundice. Further late-stage symptoms can result in leprosy (leading to gangrene if not properly cleaned), and other similar conditions. Initial symptoms usually onset after two (real life) weeks, and hit their worst at two months. These effects will not lead to death, but continued mutation for the user.

Connection can be temporarily by holy magic if hit with Holy Magic/Fi’ Magic.

Long standing close proximity to mortals results in extreme mutation and injury.

Not capable of further production; works specifically due to the nature of the corrupted Taharaie-gauntlet’s magical composition.

Weakens its wielder if they are not capable of managing Stagnant Lifeforce’s affect upon their body.

Explanation of effect(s) (i.e. how it does what it does - slight bending of magic lore is allowed):

Tahariae’s arm has been corrupted with an implanted abyss seed, overriding the mechanics that were once used to provide infinite, stamina-less casting to its wearer. Now, however, it has been repurposed for more fel-deeds; what was once powered by Tahariae herself is directly linked to the primordial power of the Abyss, capable of spreading its corruption (stagnant lifeforce). 

The arm radiates said corruption naturally, inducing ailments such as weakness and degradation upon those unused and ill-fit towards such aberrations. Past that, the active effect is modulated; a direct link to the Abyss is focused upon the targeted individual, muting Deific magics and subjecting them to the details listed above in the effects category.

After a target has been fully stagnated, they are effectively incapacitated.

The Hou-Zi, which have always followed a God-King under Hou-Shen, the Emperor, are mildly confused.

To erect jade from stone is no small task.

The City of Jade had fell countless centuries ago to the old one, but the time where they might finally tread the home of Hou-Shen had came. Bulky beasts - Hei-Zhu - clad in lamellar and wielding glaives surrounded the carried palanquin, fanned around his person. The royal guard stood watch, eager to aid the Imperial Personage in the reclamation of home.

Bells were tolled, messages were set; both the men of faith in the far east of Axios were alerted, and the newfound allies of the growing Empire found themselves notified and invited to the revelry that would come following their success on the field of battle.

There would be celebration. Glorious festivals that would span the entire week - from this solar rotation, to the next. The alabaster furred Fei-Zhu quietly mused, “-- perhaps the history books shall recall this as the turning point for our people. Axios will see our peoples as it’s rightful ruler.”
