What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is when you act or fantasize that you are another person, and acquire all their traits. What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is when you use information that your ingame character did not know of, such as if I was being attacked and I messaged a friend on a chat service to come help me. What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is when you give your own character some sort of unrealistic advantage over another player or when you use an emote without giving the opposing party any time to react to it. What’s your character called?: - Victor Pascal What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Human What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 22 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Victor was born in a small log cabin in a little town known as Baile. His father was a very strong and hardy blacksmith who was extremely good with his fists, and his mother was a talented craftswoman. Victor's parents were very nice people, and they always treated baby Victor extremely well. When Victor was eight years old, his house was broken into by thieves during the night. They stole all of Victor’s mother’s new crafting tools, and attempted to steal an anvil from Victor’s dad. While they were attempting to move an anvil, Victor’s dad awoke from sleep due to the loud grunting noises of the men attempting to move the heavy anvil. He then clutched a nearby sledgehammer and snuck up on them silently. At this point, the thieves were making quite a bit of noise in their attempt to move the anvil due to it’s extreme weight. Victor’s dad then proceeded with a quick blow on one of the thieves head and knocked him unconscious. The other thief then pulled out a small knife in an attempt to scare Victor’s dad. Victor’s dad struck the thief in his arm, dislocating the thief’s shoulder, which resulted in the thief dropping his knife. The thief then proceeded out the door and fell on the ground and said something in a language Victor’s dad didn’t understand. Two other thieves with swords proceeded inside of the house. Victor’s dad went for another swing at one of the thieves, hitting him in the chest. The second Victor's dad landed the blow on one of the thief’s chest, the other thief jabbed him in the shoulder, which resulted in Victor's dad dropping the sledgehammer, falling over, and passing out. The thieves escaped quickly, not even attempting to take the anvil at this point. Victor and his mother, who were hiding in the corner of the house, ran to Victor's dad body and attempted to mend his mutilated arm. Victor knew, that his dad would never be the same man. The next day, they took his dad to the doctor in an attempt to fix his arm and diagnose what was wrong with his dad. They left his dad in the doctor’s hut, and went back home. After several hours of waiting, pondering what could happen, and anticipating disaster, the doctor finally arrived at their house with his dad. The doctor then said that his dad’s arm is now crippled, and that he would not be able to work as a blacksmith anymore. At this point, Victor would have to take over the duties of his dad and make income for the family or else they would not be able to survive. The next 7 years were extremely difficult for Victor. His mother took him on as an apprentice craftsman while he worked a job for an extremely obnoxious employer who hardly paid him anything. Over the years as his parents got older, he became a better craftsman and was more able to support the family. When he turned 15, his mom, who was old and ready to retire, gave him her antique crafting crafting tools. With these new tools, Victor was able to craft much more efficiently. With both his parents retired now, Victor had to work extra hard to be able to support both his mother and his father. When Victor was 20, his father unexpectedly disappeared one night. He asked every person in town whether or not they had seen him or any unusual activity that night. Everyone answered with a strict “No”. His mother was extremely sad, and cried for days and days and days. After that point, it had seemed like she had lost a will to live at all. She slowly became more and more anti-social as the days went by and almost wouldn’t talk to anyone in the town except for Victor. A year after that point, when Victor was 21, she died. There was no funeral held, and it seemed to matter not to anyone. Victor, who was still employed with the same obnoxious employer since he was 8, decided it was time to move on from this town and quit his job. He went through his mother’s and father’s old valuables and took what was of any value to him. He found a small old chest that he had never seen before and looked ancient, and opened it up. Inside he found a metal crest with the name “Pascal” on it and a note that said “Find Vaclav”. Victor knew this must be his be his family heritage, since his parents had discussed his cousins once when he was a child. He packed his belongings, took the note and crest, and set off on an adventure to find the mysterious man named “Vaclav”. What are they like (personality)?: - Victor is extremely intelligent and somewhat charismatic, and generally tries to be a nice person. He is hardy, and has a high mental capacity. What are their ambitions?: - To master his craftsmanship and bowmanship. Do they have any special skills?: - Victor is an advanced craftsman and an apprenticed bowsman. What are their weaknesses?: - Victor is not very great with melee weapons, and cannot wear heavy armor.
