What time-zone do you live in?: - I live in Pacific Standard Time.
Have you ever roleplayed before - Yes I have. if you have, how?: - I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons Tabletop version with my friends for about a year now. I have also tried a few other Role-Playing servers.
Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - Yes I have, though I'm not sure I should mention their names, as that would be advertising.
Have you applied to this server before?(Please link past applications): - I don't believe I have.
How did you hear about us?: - My older brother, a player of the server already, Firenoah12, has told me about it.
What do you think the server will be like? - I think it will be a very fantasy-like experience, and from what my brother has told me, I think it will be fun.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes I have read over them, and I very much so agree.
What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - No metagaming. I hate it when people use OOC (Out-of-Character) things to gain an advantage in the game.
Definitions
This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!
What is roleplaying?: - The act of creating a character and doing actions that your character would do.
What’s metagaming?: - The act of learning something Out of Character, (ex. Teamspeak) for information that your character would not normally know.
What’s powergaming?: - The act of doing an action without giving the other person a chance to respond. (ex. *Kerkkel swings his greataxe and instantly decappitates the rugged looking orc*) This does not give the person a chance to respond to the action being done to them.
In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.
What’s your character called?: - Urngrad Understone
What race are they (and sub-race)?: - He is a Cavernous Dwarf.
What sex are they?: - He is a Male.
How old are they?: - He is 350 years old.
Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Urngrad grew up to be a very sheltered cave dwarf, during the time of Kal'Karik and Asulon. His father, Kerkkel, always was very cautious of his son. Urngrad did not like being sheltered. He always wanted to go out and explore what the world had to offer, but mostly to help his race. Aside from him being sheltered, his father ran a very outgoing life. He was close friends with many dwarves and sometimes brought them into his house-hold. When he did so, he always kept Urngrad in his room, away from the strangers. It was this, that was his father's downfall. Soon after the majority of people left for Anthos, one of Kerkkel's friends, betrayed him. Urngrad's mother and father were slaughtered without him knowing so. Only three days after the killing, did Urngrad leave his room, knowing that something was wrong. He was devastated upon leaving his room. To see his mother and father, sprawled on the ground, life-less. Urngrad took what supplies he could, and left his house, into the harsh world he did not know, or grow up with. He searched and traveled for many years for any signs of his people, after he left. He finally came across a few stragglers, that were on their way to Anthos, themselves. He boarded their boat with them, and has finally come to Anthos himself.
What are they like (personality)?: - He, Urngrad, is very wanderlust, but yet, cautious. He wants to explore the world, but knows nothing about it, due to his sheltered life.
What are their ambitions?: - To mind his own business in the world. To maybe grow a family of his own, and even maybe find his father's killer. He also has a side ambition to help the dwarven race in any way he can.
Do they have any special skills?: - He learned how to cook, from his mother. This is anywhere from fresh bread, to sweet-rolls.
What are their weaknesses?: - He is very cautious, due to his sheltered child-hood. This makes it hard for him to develop social skills, and would normally require the other person to engage first.
Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - He has a very darkish-greyish skin, a black beard, and normally wears a peasant's clothing.
Anything else you want to say about them?: - No I believe that sums it up.
