Sura receives the letter, and after reading it, feels excited to attend!

Have you applied to this server before?(Please link past applications): No How did you hear about us?: I was looking for new servers on Youtube and saw a video of someone on this server. What do you think the server will be like? I think the server will be a very large area that is capable of exploring with some of the people who are already on the server. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: I like the one week grace period all players have to bring their character back from the dead. What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is playing a character that is either uniquely made or pre-made such as a character from a movie or book. What’s metagaming?: Metagaming is any kind of OOC activity that a player's character does that the character has no knowledge of capability of. What’s powergaming?: Powergaming is an action that a player's Minecraft character can do but the player's RP character cannot do. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called?: Sura Meta What race are they (and sub-race)?: Human- Southeron What sex are they?: Female How old are they?: 22 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): Sura grew up on a farm in a small village outside of Abresi with her mother, father, and younger brother, Kellin. As a child, Sura, Kellin, and other children from the village would player with sticks and pretend that they were brave warriors. Kellin was a natural born swordsman, even if they were playing with sticks, it was his dream to become a guard for Abresi. Sura wanted to be taught to fight like Kellin, but her mother thought the fighting should be left to the men. Instead, Sura was taught to fight with her mind, and her mother taught her about the history of Anthos all the way back to the Fall of Asulon. She was especially intrigued by the history of the Elves, more specifically their fighting style and skills with a bow. She then decided if she could ever get out of that village, she would learn combat from the Elves. One morning, her mother, father, and brother took to the road in to Abresi to buy supplies. Sura wanted to got but needed to tend to her chores on the farm. As the sun began to set, Sura became worried that her family was not back yet. She took a horse and rode up the road her family had taken that morning. About two miles up the road, she came around a bend, and she saw the gruesome scene that would forever haunt her. Her parents were sprawled out, lying in a pool of blood. The cart they had taken was tipped over and there was no sign of Kellin. After gathering her thoughts, she approached the living nightmare. There were multiple sets of fresh tracks that indicated they were attacked by a group of bandits that are infamous for attacking travelers on the road. She collapsed by her mothers lifeless body. The woman how taught her so much, who sparked her interest in the world was now lost to Sura forever. Sura slowly made her way back to the village only to be greeted by the screams of the villagers being attacked. She ran back to the farm as quickly as she could, seeing burning buildings collapse all around. Their animals had gotten out in the mayhem and a fire had already began burning their house. She ran inside to grab whatever supplies she could, and as she was leaving a piece of wood fell on her, causing her to blackout. What are they like (personality)?: A bit shy at first, but opens up to others in time. She is intelligent and very crafty. What are their ambitions?: Sura hopes to travel and find an Elf who will teach her how to fight so she can avenge the death of her family. Do they have any special skills?: Very well educated. Sura's mother taught her many things about other races and the history of Anthos. A very excellent runner because of her long legs, can run long distances What are their weaknesses?: Though she is quick on her feet, Sura is not very skilled in combat. She and other children in her village would always play with sticks and pretend they were swords but never has she felt the real weight of steel. She is also constantly haunted by nightmares of losing her family which cause her to become somewhat delusional at times. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: 5'9", medium brown hair with hazel eyes and a slender figure with ragged clothes. Anything else you want to say about them?: Sura is determined to find the bandits that attacked her family and village.

Ever since then, she has been trying to find her family, living on the road or the hospitality of others. What are they like (personality)?: A bit shy at first, but opens up to others in time. She always keeps a positive attitude when things are looking down. What are their ambitions?: Sura hopes to reunite with her family or find a clue to their whereabouts. She also wishes to be taught the ways of combat. Do they have any special skills?: Very well educated. Sura's mother taught her many things about other races and the history of Anthos.
