  1. "Alone and without friends now. Surely they'll be safe... right?" Kursik af Vennith would remark after watching Celia'nor's levies withdraw from the Brasca Keep. He would quickly return to preparing the earthwork batteries outside the keep for a makeshift defense against the Covenant's onslaught.

Kursik af Vennith would eye the painting released from the halls of art within the League. He careened his neck to the side pulling his mask to the side. With shock and jaw agape two words escaped his mouth. "Holy Moly...."

  3. "If one man can make an entire religion quake and quiver before his very presence, or utterance of his name; I'd follow that man," Kursik af Vennith would comment having snatched a missive from a dead sheep of the canonist flock. He'd using said missive to wipe and dry the fresh blood off of his sword. Shortly he'd discard is next to the dead body.

  4. Kursik af Vennith would stand atop the ramparts of Fort Breakwater. Around him men donning bandanas and men that did not ran about preparing stocks of war supplies and munitions for a long war. Idly he would murmur to himself as he stared over towards the direction of the Northern Realm. "I'll give it to the North-King, he's got balls," he'd grip his javelins and his freshly sharpened axe. Inspecting it he'd think back to the day twelve years ago he slaughtered 90 men fleeing back into their rat-nest of Vladev atop horseback. With a grin he'd pull up his mask and head to the stables. War had finally come.

  5. I abhor CRP-Default. Not only is it rife with issues of elitism and clique based magics, but its unnecessarily long to the point it might take 3 irl hours to resolve a conflict if both parties want to 'win'. And who doesn't like winning?

Defender Default was perfect as it gave the victim of an "attack" the right to choose. Whether they wanted their conflict in paragraph form with convoluted, sometimes outdated, or straight up contradictory rules and lore. Or by Mechanical means. I don't want to have to know the whole knowledge of the deep lore of meta-wizards to know what my sword's material, who made it, or if the lore is still implemented. If someone attacks me let me click them. I attack someone and they want CRP so be it.

“The Canonist nations must be united against those, especially non-human, who seek to disturb the peace within our realm. I side with those who may be misguided in their faith over tree stump-sized men who pray to drawings on walls” said a Lorenz Gavaudin on the issue of the Norland and Urguan situation.

"Incredibly based." says a masked Kursik outside Lorenz's window upon hearing the man's statement to no one in particular.

  7. CRP default in theory would be great if we had an ironed out system and ruleset to follow, but in my earnest opinion I think the default of combat needs to be PvP default over a certain amount of players, I.E: 8, 10, 12, etc. People cannot be expected to sit through several grueling hours of paragraph combat that could be filled with arguments or debates about a certain action, yada yada. Many have lives outside of the server, and should not be subject to being locked into something they could not finish. PvP is an alternative that may not be tasteful for my wiki emote warrior brothers who share the same server as I, but we can agree that it is indeed the quickest way to reach an expected outcome that might take several hours to achieve. I.E. 1 guy holding up 10 guys who can't seem to land a blow on the guy who is able to dodge every single attack due to [Insert Item] [Insert CA], etc.

  8. It simply cannot happen in a large scale, and the fact people say it has to be broken up into smaller fights proves such. Inherently people want to win fights, and will either powergame or stall emotes, dragging out the process, and every CRP fight I've been in since 2013 has proven such. Defender Default with a cap of 12 autoing to PvP Default is a great system. It's time efficient and relatively fair to all parties involved.

  9. Bigsby is furious he isn't included on clause III of the agreement. Perhaps the Haensemen would've built him a small shire hole in the ground. Bigsby expects Hadrian to compensate him for this transgression...
