  1. Malcolm Reymond, Surged over Vasili's hill and pounced on several Staunton banner men, battered and outright pissing themselves, in turn they were felled by Malcolm's axes. As he needed a tap in, he attempted to rush back to his line, but Jarvik Alistad had blocked his path. Jarvik threw a pot of boiling alchemist fire in which Malcolm was consumed by it's fury. All Malcolm could do was stare in Jarvik's eyes as his flesh became one with flame. He had perished on the field of battle. Only to awake at the Cloud Temple, alive and well.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Eidola are effectively created from a very tedious ritual performed by a Wight and a Mystic. Both Mystic and Wight imbue the victim or sacrifice with ‘Deadbreath’ after effectively killing their victim. Once the soul has been imbued, it becomes attached to a ‘deathbed’ of sorts, or more known as a Menhir, usually made of stone or some type of metal. This acts as almost a ‘spawn point’ for the Eidolon. When an Eidolon falls in battle it will end up back at it’s Menhir. The Wight may at any time move the Eidolon’s soul to another location if it is required of them, or if it’s more convenient. EidolA are slow moving tanks. They are completely made out of a suit of stone or metal, and can give quite a beating to a unprepared victim. However they are very slow in their advance, though frightening none the less. Eidola are spectral undead and are severely affected by Holy Magic, Aurum weaponry, Fi magic, Shamanism, or alteration. This is a way better method of dealing with the Eidola than flat out attacking it with normal means. Eidola are similar to their cousins, the Dreadknights, Golems, and Ents, however the process is of making one is far more different and their final state of being is comparatively unique.
