Definitions What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is taking on the persona of a fictional created character creating an identity as that persona.
What’s metagaming?: - A player using knowledge to their advantage that their character would not know. Eg: from talking to friends you know where someone you dislike lives in the game and using that knowledge as your character even though they have not learnt this in-game
What’s powergaming?: - A way of playing and combat that doesn’t allow the other player chance to respond or defend themselves.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Balorn was born in Kal’Karik. Balorn’s father Brogon was a warrior (and survivor) in the last battle of Aegis. Brogon always told many tales of many heroes, Dwarf, Elf and Man alike. Those stories always inspired Balorn to be a warrior, because of this since he was a young lad he trained in the art of combat. By the very young age of 60 he was a skilled combatant and fierce with melee weapons. Weapon of choice being a huge Battle Axe he named Orc Biter due to the Dwarves inherit hatred of the orcs. At age 60 Kal’Karik became under siege. Balorn was called to battle and to lead the battalion of dwarves who would hold the front line. Balorn fought hard and without mercy, his axe meeting orc flesh time and time again. He felled many orcs in that battle and saved the lives of many friends and spared no foes. Long into the siege Balorn was called back to the keep on a special mission. He was to escort a family of high ranking dwarves from the city to a small underground city run by the Cave Dwarves. They snuck out at the dead of night through secret passages known only to high ranked dwarves. It took Balorn many days to reach the city of the Cave Dwarves but he got the family there no worse for wear. Soon after their arrival Balorn received news that the siege was over however his family had been killed by orcs. On that day he vowed he would cut down as many orcs as he could and his hatred for them burned like a raging fire untamed.
Balorn stayed with the Cave Dwarves acting as an axe for hire for anyone who had a score to settle or needed protection. While he was there he also did a fair share of mining when he wasn’t busy with clients picking up a decent skill in his craftsmanship. Although Balorn was a mercenary he would never accept a contract that would involve the harming of a fellow dwarf. Balorn became even more skilled with his axe and decided to roam the lands. Going on adventures, questing and wouldn’t turn down the odd contract that came his way (provided the pay was good and no dwarves will be harmed and mostly so that he can kill a lot of orcs.) Balorn is now meeting new folk of elf, man and dwarven kin alike traveling the lands.
What are they like (personality)?: - Balorn is as stubborn as dwarves come. With friends Balorn is hearty and full of joy, he would happily share a laugh with those he deems trustworthy and although he doesn’t give his trust easily, prove your worth in combat and your loyalty he is happy to call you friend. To his enemies he is merciless, aggressive and sometimes irrational, letting his heart control him and charging headlong into battle. He sees no problem with a friendly punch-up and a cold ale afterwards to celebrate.
What are their ambitions?: - Balorn wishes to kill as many orcs as he can, and he wishes to lead an army of any who will fight against the clans of orcs.
Do they have any special skills?: - Balorn has incredible skills with his axe and can also do a decent days mining as well as affair craftsman
What are their weaknesses?: - Balorn puts his heart before his head and may sometimes charge headlong into battle without thinking. His hatred for orcs may blind him and he is very stubborn.
Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Balorn has fair skin with fiery red hair and a proud beard done into braids with silver jewelry. His face is stern and he wears a red helm laden with dwarvish silver that belonged to his father as well as his tough animal hide armor
Anything else you want to say about them?: - Balorn is good and loyal to his friends and will never fail to have their backs and stand his ground them against the world. However if his trust is betrayed it shall not be regained. He is proud to be a dwarf and proud of his kin and even more proud of his beard.
