What do you think the server will be like? - I don't really know what to expect. I hope that most of the people on the server remain in character because being OOC diminishes a lot of the reason that I'm even bothering to apply. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes, I praise and completely agree with them. What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - I really like that people must remain in character. That's what i look forward to in this server. What’s your character called?: - Aldorroth What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Wood Elf What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 139 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Aldorroth could never really recall much of his childhood. He didn't know his parents well because they had abandoned him at a young age. All he remembers is the dwarf that had taken him in and raised him as one of his own in the city of Kal'Ithrun. Aldorroth knew little of the outside world other than the forest to the west that he spent time in and of nearby places of interest down the road. He had a fascination for war and combat, but knew no one who ever took part in any event of such. He spent a lot of time in the woods practicing with a hand crafted bow. Although he grew up around dwarves, he still had now interest in their form of weaponry. The bow seemed to be the perfect weapon for Aldorroth. After a lot of practice, Aldorroth developed a skill with the bow. He began hunting and bringing back his kills to collect minas. One day, Aldorroth was tracking a beast in the woods, following it's tracks. He soon lost the track through a point of dense vegetation. To his surprise, dare not say luck, he heard rustling in a bush. He knew that he had finally found the creature and prepared an arrow to shoot towards the rustling. It began to move closer, but with a quickening speed. Fear overcame him and in fright, he released his arrow and heard a terrible, piercing scream. He had shot a man! He feared his consequence and dared not to return home. He couldn't bare the punishment. He decided that he would not return and would flee through the land and into the world that he knew little to nothing of. He hoped to find a town full of warming people that welcomed newcomers so that he may start a new life and leave his past behind. He later found The Valiant's Bungalow, an inn full of kind hearted people. He spent near all of his time there, and would sometimes go out to do work and maintain income. He just hopes that his news doesn't catch up to him. So begins the story of Aldorroth. What are they like (personality)?: - An enjoyable and friendly person if you get to know him, but will often keep quite and content. What are their ambitions?: - To follow through with his new life and someday purchase a house of his own and maybe even have a family. Do they have any special skills?: - Skilled with the bow, but otherwise has no weapon professions. All that time in the forest also helped him identify herbs and he knows a bit about agriculture. What are their weaknesses?: - Little to no skill with melee combat, and knows little of the land. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Fair and smooth brown hair that is mostly hidden by his hood. He has a thin body structure, like most elves, and has a medium height. His eyes are a light blue and are probably the first feature you will notice of his face. Anything else you want to say about them?: - Most information was covered in the back-story. Please give us a screenshot of your character’s skin: - (I made edits according to what was wrong with my previous skin. Didn't have a beautiful experience with the last application required server i played on. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes, I actually praise the rules. What’s your favorite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - I like that you are required to keep character at all times. It just supports the server and it's theme. What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 23 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - My character lived a general life of a lower class Elf. His mother died before he really had a chance to know her. His only other family member was his brother who was much younger, at the age of 9. My character would spend most of his time in the woods hunting and searching for herbs to use or sell. This allowed him to be skilled with ranged weapons and develop experience with herbology. What are they like (personality)?: - Quite and shady, but a good ale can help his personality! What are their ambitions?: - To adventure and find a new place to call home. By spending little time with his family, he didn't develop a great connection. Do they have any special skills?: - Great with ranged weapons, whether it be thrown or shot. Also developed a strength in herbology. What are their weaknesses?: - Not a very convincing or warming appearance. Doesn't work well with large groups.
