What do you think the server will be like? - I'm not sure, something between fantasy books and minecraft. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes. What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - Atte: The one who's going to die a lot. (?) Definitions What is roleplaying?: - Theatre in game. Roleplaying something requires being imaginative, intuitive and clever, or not. It depends on your character, acting like him means you must see the world through his eyes, having his strenghs and weaknesses. What’s metagaming?: - Imagine you are your character. One villager living his simple plain life lost in some town between the mountains. This man has never read things like the world's history or seen how other races looks like. Of course, you have read the wiki, and forums, but he hasn't, and you are him, so metagaming can be understood as using OOC knowledge inside of the game. OOC knowledge shouldn't interfere with you character decisions or acts. What’s powergaming?: - You are one simple mortal. Accept it. No matter how hard you try, you will never become a dragon (Unless there's some weirdo magic in the lore that allows you to do so, in that case, it's fine if it's part of an rp). So, powergaming can be understood as acting over your possibilities. In-Character Information What’s your character called?: - Jaquelin -> Jaque What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Human (Halfling) What sex are they?: - Female How old are they?: - 20 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - She was born in a house not too far from the Summershire Vale's town. Her mother was abandoned by his dad, one merchant from the south. Her name is Jaquelin. At the age of four she started going to school. Fourteen was the age she was when she started helping his mother by working as a shepherd. One day, a wild wolf slaughtered some sheeps from the flok. Jaque told her mother about it and they decided to contract a local hunter from the town. The hunter went to hunt the wolf, but an unfortunate accident left the hunter unable to move, being him the one hunted by the wolf. After dat, Jaque decided that she would learn how to protect herself and her family (Inclusive her sheeps) so she scavenged a bow, a quiver and a small dagger from the dead hunter.The man was buried on the same field he died. Nobody knew about him. Jaquelin trained quite hard during four years, hunting wild animals in the fields near the town meawhile she was supposed to be with her folk. In those years, one hafling fell in love with her mother. They married and formed a new family, so Jaquelin decided that she had to leave and earn her living by herself. In fact, three days after the wedding, she left the town. In the path to the nearest city, she joined a caravan of people where she curiously met strange people that told her about a war with an evil force from darkness known as the Black Scourge. They came from the north looking for peace, but war was following their steps. "Or people is always fighting" she thought. Those days they shared (about a month) were full of laugh and leather's smell. Jaquelin learned things from those retired soldiers like how to pierce accurately with the dagger, or how to light a fire with just a wooden stick and straw. Finally, she arrived the city, where... What are they like (personality)?: - When you look a Jaquelin, the first you think you will hear from her are sweet words, given her childish appearance. But when you really know her you notice she's not just a pretty face. She's a hardworking girl, clever and observant in her work but quite absent-minded when she is relaxed. She does not tend to talk with others, but she loves hearing what other people have to say. What are their ambitions?: - I think talking about ambition does not fit Jaque. She just wants to experience life and have an adventure, something she couldn't have un the Summerset Shire. Do they have any special skills?: - The knowledge about the countryside is her strong point. She knows how to use stealth, hide and make quick escapes if needed. What are their weaknesses?: - Maybe her constant curiosity about the things that surround herself could be undestood as a clear way to find a premature death. Or maybe her uncontrolable restlessness... Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Her skin is cafe-colored and strong. Her eyes are blue, her messy hair looks like colored with carrot juice, her eyebrowns are rough and her smile is charming. Phisicaly she's not really strong, nor thin nor fat, she's resistant to long journeys. Jaque usually is dressed with leaher rags.
